Journey almost over

Freaking out with joy and anxiety. This pregnancy flew by for the last trimester. I’m 38 weeks and the induction request is going in at 39. They won’t let me reach 40. This means in less than 14 days I get to meet my 4AA ! Feels like the stick turned positive yesterday. My transfer was November 1 of last year, feeling all the emotions ‼️

Heartbroken over plucking

Ever since I became pregnant my senior conure knew. He himself became territorial over me and very hormonal. I am 38 weeks pregnant and he has started to calm down and is finally nice to my husband again (he would attack him hard before and draw blood every time). Now he is nice as ever to him. We just moved into a new house, preparing for baby but giving him lots of love and attention. He is getting more bare and it breaks my heart because I do so much for
Him. Has anyone dealt with this during their pregnancy! Did their bird calm down? A vet visit was recently done, I declined bloodwork as I cannot afford the $800 quote I was given. Please don’t come for me, I truly do care for him however with lots of house expenses it’s just not possible at this time and is more than likely hormonal (even the vet thinks so)

Emotional work joy

Exactly 1 year ago i got the email from my clinic that my name was up for my funded fertility round. My province allows 1 per person as long as you’re under 43. Fast forward to today, I am almost 38 weeks 😭❤️ I would have never thought I’d get this far. I just wanted to share this to provide hope and encouragement throughout this stressful process. Hope you all have the best luck

Step b swab next week

Alright let’s say it. Haemorrhoids 😭😭 My OB is definitely gonna see them lmfao, I can’t help but feel the need to explain that I have them to her before she even sees. I’m having a panic attack oh lord.

Please tell me I’m not the only one with them who’s having the swab done 😂😂😂😂

Does this look more like plucking or a moult ? Very worried and he’s in very good health despite his old age

First BM after birth

I’m terrified to give birth, not because of a literal human coming out of me. But because of the first after birth poop oh my god it hurt so bad.

I’m stoping my iron supplements about 1-2 weeks before I am due as it causes constipation. I’ll be upping my magnesium and maybe even taking some stool softeners.

My first shit hurt so bad I had to stand up in the shower to do it I’m so sorry for these horrific details 😭😭

What did you do to lessen the pressure and pain for your first movement after baby was born?

Thankful for this sub I can’t really make this a fb status LMFAO

Chronically hungry

I am always so damn hungry 😭 I stopped weighing myself a month ago when I stepped on and saw a 42 lb increase oops. I’m trying to make healthy choices but it’s just so hard please tell me I’m not the only one struggling with this. I’m so thankful I’m pregnant, but this huge gain is getting me down lol.

I also think all this weight gain is causing my legs and hips to ache constantly but could be hormones 🤫

Induction due to IVF

My midwife just informed me it is standard practice to be induced as early as 38 weeks due to an IVF pregnancy. The reasoning is issues with the quality of the placenta going down passed full term.

Has anyone been induced early despite the pregnancy being healthy strictly because it’s an IVF baby?

New to this world, pregnancy question

My husband recently was diagnosed with HPylori after dropping 40 lbs in 1.5 months. A naturopath picked it up and recommended a GI Map test which showed his levels were way off the charts and incredibly high.

I am currently 30 weeks pregnant and going to get tested as it can be spread through saliva, I’m also suddenly dangerously anemic and yes it could be the pregnancy but my dr is worried I have it too. Has anyone had this while pregnant ? Did this impact your baby?
