I have very hard water so I add 1/2 cup of borax to every load including my diapers. I just started cloth and noticed that using the esembly powder with their instructions on the pack leaves clothes feeling weird ? I also put my little ones outfits in so that’s how I’m feeling residue.

I have a top load HE washer and do one cycle of normal with warm water, then another cycle with heavy and hot water. I add 1 scoop of powder to my pre wash and 2 to my main. Should I add an extra rinse or use less powder ?

On this day last year I went in for my egg retrieval. Little did I know one year later I’d be cuddling my beautiful daughter. Science is amazing. I thought I’d post this for hope and perspective. I wish you all luck wherever you are in the IVF process ❤️

Two weeks ago my little one had their tongue tie released. Dentist says a small upper lip one exists but isn’t appearing to be problematic at this time and doesn’t think it needs to be done.

It hurts a lot less to BF which is amazing. I still notice lots of clicking sounds and a shallow latch. My go to positions are the foot ball hold as it seems to hurt the least amount. Today I had more nipple pain than usual and see she has mouth blisters from what I assume is an improper latch. Any tips ? She sees paediatric physio in 8 days to address muscle tension and new positions as well I’m hoping it helps as my benefits cover these sessions vs ones with a lactation consultant

After birth how long did you wait for your next transfer ? Did you choose the same protocol ?

So my spectra s1 has gotten me flowing today im 2 days pp. After I pump for 30 mins they still feel engorged, is this normal? Is this because my supply is establishing and going to come in more ? I’m getting 40 mls total which is great per session but I’m still uncomfortable. My midwife says it’s because more milk is coming in, I just wanted opinions from others going through this journey currently. I exclusively pumped for my first born and remember this painful feeling however I had that feeling as I was late kick starting my supply !

I feel like I’m a shit mother. My daughter has mouth ties and it hurts so much to BF. I still am suffering through it for us to bond , after each painful latch session I supplement with formula. I feel guilty because my lactation consultant told me that colostrum is enough, I just feel like it’s too much on me right now and am giving formula afterwards. Crying typing this I know there’s a stigma against formula, I just wanted to exclusively breast feed and think this shift in hormones is making me a bit emotional

Freaking out with joy and anxiety. This pregnancy flew by for the last trimester. I’m 38 weeks and the induction request is going in at 39. They won’t let me reach 40. This means in less than 14 days I get to meet my 4AA ! Feels like the stick turned positive yesterday. My transfer was November 1 of last year, feeling all the emotions ‼️

Exactly 1 year ago i got the email from my clinic that my name was up for my funded fertility round. My province allows 1 per person as long as you’re under 43. Fast forward to today, I am almost 38 weeks 😭❤️ I would have never thought I’d get this far. I just wanted to share this to provide hope and encouragement throughout this stressful process. Hope you all have the best luck

I’m terrified to give birth, not because of a literal human coming out of me. But because of the first after birth poop oh my god it hurt so bad.

I’m stoping my iron supplements about 1-2 weeks before I am due as it causes constipation. I’ll be upping my magnesium and maybe even taking some stool softeners.

My first shit hurt so bad I had to stand up in the shower to do it I’m so sorry for these horrific details 😭😭

What did you do to lessen the pressure and pain for your first movement after baby was born?
