Taking my Chambers Colonial lock apart today. I mostly use oil on my lock internals but I’ve read two high-friction areas where it’s best to use grease are the frizzen toe and where the mainspring meets the tumbler. I would think that another high-friction area to apply grease is where the sear meets the tumbler. Any of you jabronis do this?
40/M. So I’ve had these brown spots on the top of my forehead for about two months and they are not going away or sloughing off. Are they sun spots or aging or what? I use the same serums and skincare routine for the whole face but these only appear at the top of the forehead. How do I send them back to hell?

Where is everybody getting getting flints nowadays? I’m down to my last 4. Haven’t had to buy any in a couple years, used to go to Track but they’re sold out of almost all sizes. Need 7/8 for my chambers lock.
Have an old True Temper Black Prince I got from a neighbour. Manufactured sometime between 1950-1965 in St. Catherines, Ontario. The original handle is pooched unfortunately☹️ it looks like the bit was “ sharpened” with a bench grinder at some point and the blade angle is kind of steep. Can I bring it back with some elbow grease and mill files or is this a lost cause?
So I went into Roger’s yesterday to get a new modem and my internet setup. No issues and I walked out the door. My new modem is out for delivery today. My problem is I gave them an incorrect email address yesterday by mistake. How do I get them the correct email? I’m worried when I setup my internet and MyRogers account this error will cause a headache. Many thanks for your input.

So my (41M) broke up with my gf of 13 years (47F) back in April. Currently in the post-discard/painted black phase. She packed her stuff while I was away for a few days. She stole some kitchenware, a birthday present she got me the year before, and left her two rooms in a really bad state. I’ve had to clean and repaint both rooms since. She also took the keys to the building and unit (she doesn’t need them, she’s moved into her new supply’s house) and failed to return them so I had to change the locks. After NC since then she messaged me the other day to ask me to return the modem she was paying for. The way we divided bills was I got the electrical bill and she paid for the internet. What I’m asking is am I obligated to help out? She left in a bad way and I have resentment about it. I feel like just not responding to her and keeping the NC. But maybe I should be the bigger person? It also irks me that in the text for this request she managed to get in a dig at me, specifically calling me “ a-trash person”
You’ve all been there. Or maybe not. After final discard and being painted black do they ever come back? That’s not really what I want but after 13 years. It’s just wild that after all I did for her and all she did to me, including saying she wished I was dead, that she has in her mind that I’m evil and she’s the victim. I know she’s re-writing history and it’s not true, but I selfishly want her to feel a little bad that it’s over. The funny thing is exactly what I wanted to happen did happen. I wanted her to meet a nice boy who treated her well and to move in with him and be out of my life forever. And that’s what happened. It’s that Oscar Wilde quote “there are two tragedies in life, one is not getting what you want, the other is getting it” well I got what I wanted but I still think about her way too much to be healthy. Obviously she isolated me from a lot of my friend group so my social circle has shrunk and I don’t have a lot of people to talk to about this

Attending an event in a couple weeks that requires cartridges. I portray a member of an irregular unit(BID) that wouldn’t have used cartridges, these men mostly bringing their own arms. I’ve always loaded blanks at reenactments from the horn and measure. My question is what paper do you guys roll your cartridges in? I’ve read about newsprint but these just don’t look right to me. 70gr 3f. Many thanks. (Forgive the shop light and sequins)
So I had the bottom of one of those Crazy Crow faux tin cups made out of steel come off recently. Maybe it’s been on too many campfires. Anyone have to repair this issue or have any idea how? Many thanks.
