An idea for game development fundraising

Let me know if this is a good idea or not but here goes..

I've been an SPX6900 holder for some time.
However, I sold last year when I got laid off from my job because I needed the money for living expenses. So while job hunting, I've worked on this game non stop for a couple of months.
I was able to produce a playable demo on steam that players find really fun.
For context, I'm an experienced game developer so I'm not starting from scratch.

I got a job again recently but development for this game slowed down a lot. I wish to continue the development of this game full time to release.

I've been able to attract a couple of publishers already. But I had this idea of maybe pitching to the SPX6900 community as well. I'm only a solo developer so I won't ask for much and it'll take me about a year to release the full game if I work on it full time.

If the game gets funded, I plan to do the following as a thank you.
- Add SPX6900 community in the credits for funding the development.
- Add SPX6900 related memes like auto heal, ily, aeon, 6900 > 500, persist forever etc.
- Add a character that resembles Marie in the game.

If you check the game it's humorous so there is really no creative limits there. There's a skill in the game where you jump you launch a car that mows down enemies. The game is memeable and fun.

I plan to use juicebox.money to raise the funds where it's an all or nothing fundraising.
If the target is met then the game gets funded, if the target isn't met then everyone will be refunded.

I'm seeking to raise $55k for a full year of development and that includes some art and music outsourcing and playtest expenses.

Here's the playable demo if you'd like to try it out:

Let me know if you guys are interested in this. If this post gets good traction then I'll start setting up the fundraising.

What will I do with the money that the game earns?
- I will invest back to SPX6900 and DCA
- I will keep some to be able to continue working on new games full time

I've made a small change to my game. Not gonna say what it is to not affect the comment. But upon checking the video, does my game still look too similar to THAT game? If it does, Please Destroy My Game!!

I've just updated my game's pitch deck. Looking for feedback from devs experienced in pitching their games. And publishers too!

I've posted here a few days back regarding my pitch deck.

I've got excellent feedback and iterated my pitch deck accordingly.

I'm looking for new eyes on the pitch deck.

DM me if you'd like to check out the pitch deck. Let me know your experience first though as I can't share the document to everyone as it's for internal use only.

Anyone up for reviewing a pitch deck? I'm looking for feedback from experienced devs (or those who've worked for publishers)

I've just made the first pitch deck for my game.

Although I'm not yet sure if it's ready or if it's something that would entice publishers effectively.

If you'd like to check it out, give me a DM and let me know your experience. I'll be sharing you the link.

Can't share it with everybody yet since the document will be for internal use only.

I'm looking to have streamers play my game. I'm wondering if these would make streamers uncomfortable to play my game on stream? I also don't want streamers to get in trouble if the text here is too much.

I've added the last image to show that the game is meant to be absurd and not a serious game at all. There isn't even any blood in it.

If you saw my previous post about the sprint speed thing, I saw that it's wrong so I removed it from my game's demo immediately.

It's a survivors-like rougelite in third person inspired by the game Megabonk. It can handle up to 10,000 enemies on screen and there are aiming and shooting.

I have released the demo build on steam but I haven't fully announced it yet. I'm on the look out if there's any obvious issues (I've read stories of some people releasing their demo and there was no build) so I'm on the look out for those issues.

If anyone would like to help me test out the game that would be great!

Thank you very much!
