Usually on the left, super offended by everything they choose to read on Reddit, and pretty much regurgitating everything that’s popular to say on social media.
At first I thought TDS was just some deflection the Trump administration came up with and it kind of is if used to downplay actual issues with his administration.
However the reality is there is a large section of people(usually on the left) that base the majority of their political identity on just obsessing over hating on Trump. There is no case by case basis, there is no nuance, no shades of gray, they don’t even really care about what the people on the ground most closely affected by an issue think. It’s literally whatever they think Trump stands on an issue they have to be radically opposed to it.
Most of these people don’t really see politics existing before 2016 and probably were head in the sand the four years Biden was in office. But they definitely exist although the term “Trump derangement syndrome” is kind of silly. These are the people that once Trump is fully out of office/dead will likely be completely lost as far as a political identity and most likely will accept whatever mediocrity the Democratic Party gives to them.

Finally back on a single player kick after sinking hours of my life into fighting games this last year and a half 😅 . I am clearing out my list of backlog of games I missed this last two years and I narrowed it down to these two games as far as scratching that medieval itch.
Which game would you recommend as of this day if you only could choose 1?
It has nothing to do with middle or lower class independents and centrists having a deep secret love for rich people. It’s more the average person doesn’t see another persons wealth as an inherent threat to what they have and don’t romanticize the idea of punishing people for making money.
Also just the reality that the idea of “eating the rich” just sounds like some woke loony tunes shit and the concept of who is and isn’t rich is extremely subjective. To the majority of the world someone in the us making 50k a year is “rich” , to someone in the us making 50k someone making 300k a year is “rich”. In the end it’s all relative and the average person doesn’t want to get due to an ever moving target.

Tommy Vercetti despite his reputation was a mafia crash out who got out of prison and immediately went back to the mafia life; only to kind of luck out going on his own. It was clear though that he was extremely difficult to be around and had difficulty maintaining friends and there was a certain layer where you never really got to know him.
CJ was more about his potential and not so much his depth. Yes you feel for him losing his mom and brother and his loyalty to his gang is admirable, and it was cool seeing his talents develop as he went on his own. But in the end CJ was a career criminal and even while in liberty city he was stealing cars for the mob and when his sister would present a better life for him he would push back.
Michael from GTA 5 had a great opportunity to get out, but he was a habitual degenerate and his anger and deep resentment and mistrust for everyone around him just led him into more and more trouble. You genuinely got the sense he would fuck over anyone close to him if he had to.
Franklin just saw crime as a way to further himself and while more grounded than Trevor and Michael; he had purely selfish purposes.
Trevor was a deranged piece of shit.
Niko Bellic is the only GTA protagonist where you get the sense that he was a good man brought up in a really horrifying world. He truly valued relationships more than the other GTA mains; not just in hanging out with people but the things he hid like the truth about what happened to Romans mom.
Niko is stronger, more skilled, more intelligent, and in a way more charismatic then all of the other GTA protagonist’s; yet he is the most humble while simultaneously having the most reason to actually have a chip on his shoulder. Also the main difference is Niko was a soldier and committed travesty on the battlefield, but compared to the other GTA protagonists he wasn’t a career criminal until the start of the game; and he spent the first several missions trying to avoid that life.
Looking back if any of the other GTA protagonist were to die I’d feel something from a fan perspective, but Niko would be the only one I’d generally say would have felt like a loss.
It shows in the game as well, none of the GTA protagonist’s got any real respect o from the people in their lives; it was all constant dysfunction or you scratch my back you scratch mine).
With Niko as you could see with Patrick Mccrearys cameo in 5, he generally left a good impression on everyone he was close to.
That’s why GTA 4 was the only GTA where it made more sense to just get a hotdog and walk around the park than to just shoot a bunch of innocent people lol.

Not only can you not handle thoughts and opinions that challenge you, but also show that you can’t take agency in your own life and avoid those conversations and need to censor the topic for those who are intellectually strong enough to participate in adult conversations.

In the real world I have a busy social life and professional life(I run my own healthcare practice); and I’ve had a bad tendency to wait towards the end of the season to start playing rank because fall and winter are slower periods in my job so it’s easier to play.
Law was my tekken 7 main and I’ve played Jun since the launch of Tekken. 8. I enjoy ranking them up back to and keeping them around the same rank as completing the same ranks with a different character gives me a better understanding of how i play.
Happy I maintained a 64+% win rate with both characters into GOD. Had a 10 game win streak into GOD 1 with my main and 9 with my secondary
Will definitely push for GOD 2 with Jun after a break and will try to do one promo into a higher tier of GOD a month.
