New straw trilby
Vacationing in Quebec City and there are TWO hat stores in the old quarter. Almost bought an Outback at the first store but settled on a nice straw one by LaScala in the second one. It’s not my favorite brand but their hats fit me. Always fun to get a new hat plus the Airbnb has a great hat holder (actually a fat bottle).

How to use Bluetooth pedal with VLC on iPad?
So I have a video playlist that I would like to control with a foot pedal. Basically I just need the pedal to play each video. So I downloaded vlc to my iPad but cannot figure how to reconfigure the pedal to play videos. There are tutorials for vlc on a Mac but iPad has different controls and does not seem to have the hotkeys to do this. Basically nothing happens when I hit the pedal no matter the mode. Thanks

Adaptor questions
My wife just bought an ioniq 6 and I bought the NACS to CCS adaptor. It does not work and looks like we need the J1772 adaptor. But that J1172 does not seem to be compatible with Tesla superchargers. Is the CCS good for the Tesla superchargers? We bought from a Lia Toyota dealership so they did not know. Do we need two adaptors for both? Would the CSS be good for anything?

Basement bathroom
So we have a little bathroom in our basement which we hardly use. My office is down there so I use it occasionally. A previous owner installed a small shower cubicle—-looks like something you could buy separately. It works only there is no hot water and because drops of water come out it is always a little wet and looks disgusting.
It’s a very small shower space, room for one person to stand. We otherwise have three bathrooms and two showers so we don’t need it at all, but part of is finished so there could a bedroom down there if a future owner wants that. Is this worth fixing or just gutting it and turn it into like a large closet? Thoughts?

Need advice for text
Hello. So I’m creating some simple videos that display artwork. There’s a fair bit of credits I need to include and I’m having tons of problems with the text. First, I’m trying to get it to line up on the left side, but it is tricky. I tried gridlines but it’s not perfect. Is there another way to do this? Second, I am having the hardest time trying to get the clips and to start and end at the same time. Insanely hard to do and my iPad keyboard trackpad sucks which does not help. The text fades in and out so it does not look that obvious—-but even getting it to fade in and out at the same time is incredibly hard. I accidentally hit ‘fusion’ (I never use this feature) and I saw how off everything is. How do I align the clips so that they end at the same time? Is there a number I can input somewhere? Dragging is just not that accurate. It’s not that bad when you watch in real time, but I would like to be even as possible.
Part of the problem I think is that I’ve had to create a separate clip for each line——is there a way out of this? If so, it would negate the problems I have.

Video looks different on DaVinci vs Mac photos
Took a nice video on my iPhone but the contrast is off when editing on DaVinci. Any ideas how to fix this?
EDIT: thanks for the replies. But I am on a time crunch and discovered iPad has iMovie which was tons easier to manage for what I needed to do. Davinci resolve seems to produce a more polished video but is just not that user friendly for me.

This is my second video. In the first one I could see the timeline in the bottom right corner but now I don’t see it. What do I need to do? I have davinci 20 the free version on an iPad Pro.

Years ago I saw randomly at a bar on cable tv a documentary on drug use and looked like heroin. At one point an addict was being interviewed but you didn’t see his face. He just talked about being a junkie and at one point they showed his legs and arms totally infected with what looked like huge blisters filled with pus. I guess he had been an addict for a long time and he had to always wear long sleeves and pants to hide the abscesses. You could hear the interviewer off camera. Looked 70s or 80s but I saw it around 2007so I could be wrong. Anyone know this movie?
