Looking to buy this in steam sales. Is the PC online safe to play yet? I don't want my PC hacked

Has there been security patches yet ?

Wild that I even need to ask this, cod games are all sold and mostly always at full price. Should be able to purchase knowing your PC won't be rce hacked.

Anyways, any word on the safety of this ? And does steam WW2 share servers with gamepass pc WW2 ?

[COD] Is it safe to play old cod games on steam os online? (Steam deck)

All these old cod games play great on steam os on deck, max settings and a smooth 120fps.

Is it safe to play online since it's on Linux? Do the remote exploits and hacks only impact windows?

When is BO4 coming to steam ?

I've seen some posts about a Dev build being done recently but still nothing.

I need this game on steam to complete my zombies collection!!

I'm also so happy bo6 is being removed from HQ in 2 days so it's standalone !

[BO] Will BO 1 and 2 on PC get a rerelease or will their multiplayer servers be patched from remote exploits ?

Id rebuy these classics if it means I can play online again without fearing my PC being hijacked by bad actors.

[COD] how long do you think severs will be up for modern call of duty titles (MW19 onwards)

I own all CoD games on PC, from before MW19.

All the older cod games use P2P matchmaking so I have no worries that these games will last forever. Plus there is a server browser in some of the games, and modes like campaign and zombies work completely offline.

For these newer era of cod titles, it seems like they are always online using dedicated servers ? Makes me worried if one day they get turned off I won't even be able to play campaign or zombies, plus there's no server browsers anymore.

Do we have any info on this ?

I ask as I'm looking to buy all these games on steam sales but I don't want the games to be shut off one day rendering my purchases, especially the zombies mode, useless

[BO] [BO2] will the PC games get matchmaking fixed ? People can literally hijack your PC if you play them

I don't even see how legally these games are still able to be sold on steam when the online is so hacked that people can remote hijack your PC and steal all your data.

I really hope all the cod games on PC are fixed.

or is it more likely a new version is release on PC and the old games are discontinued ?

Bought this on steam sales. Every multiplayer match I get connection interrupted and kicked after a couple minutes.

What the hell ! Is Activision aware of this issue and going to fix it ? Or should I refund the game on steam while I still can ?

Is there an issue with matchmaking? A bug from a recent patch?

I picked this up in steam sales and can't load into a single multiplayer game. I find one or 2 people while having all modes enabled it the search and it gets stuck.

I can see people on steam forums saying there's an issue from recent patch.

Plus is progression still shared with vanguard and me?

When are BO6 and 7 being removed from cod hq and getting their own standalone launchers ?

I'm looking to pick up both on the steam sales but the cod hq launcher is horrible

I see in my library MW2 and 3 got seperated from cod hq. Any news on when it will happen for these black ops titles ?

Got an ally X and wow the screen on the go 2 blows it away. Get the 2 or wait for the 3 ?

The price in my region for the legion go 2 is double what I paid for my rog ally X 2 years ago which is insane.

Maybe I wait it out for the 3 and hope the world corrects the prices ?

There's now Bungies other game in the banner of this subreddit. Is this an out of seasons April fools joke from the mods ?

I won't name the game because it usually leads to your topic being instantly closed, but look at the banner on this sub now. Rubbing it in much ?

Is it safe to play cod plugged and unplugged if a make manual profile same Tdp battery and on power?

I'm worried if I'm playing cod or destiny or something then need to charge so I plug in my rog ally, and then bam the Tdp changes...

If I make a profile on battery with max settings, then match it with another manual profile while plugged in, if I plug and unplug during gameplay, there should be zero risk of ban right?

Is this game worth playing f2p in 2026?

I've tried countless card games on mobile but I always come back to this one, because a)you can play easily in portrait mode and b) the games are bite sized perfect for mobile play.

How is the economy now for f2p players? I got to level 60 or so in past years but haven't played recently.

Also is there any other good mobile games you like that are bite sized, supported still, and can play in portrait mode easily ?

Destiny Infinity is the perfect next step forward and I can still see it happening.

This final update (and note all communications say it's the final update for DESTINY 2) is literally the perfect update to implement before the Infinity update comes.

All content is now relevant, all past content will be in a single purchase.

Destiny Infinity just makes sense.. much more than a destiny 3. Destiny 3 is too much risk, too expensive...

While destiny infinity is not.

Destiny Infinity just needs to bring in a new campaign for the new player experience, and that's it.

After that, the new player experience is fixed, and we can have 1 or 2 expansions a year for destiny infinity.

We all know it will happen. Especially with the millions that will return with the June update.

We need to stop the hashtags for destiny 3. It's unrealistic. A destiny infinity, a rebrand of 2, is much more realistic and actually possible.

Which exotics to claim from ada 1 if I saved all the free 18 exotics ?

The patch notes are here.

Which exotics on each class do you think I should claim to get the most OP builds ?

How does this game compare to lord of hatred d4 ? Which is superior?

Before you immediately say D4 is better because it's not a mobile game, is it really ?

The essence of Diablo for me is progressing your character non stop, getting stronger, getting better loot, then upping the difficulty and further progressing over and over.

Does Immortal not give you this feeling ? And you are not tied to a console or PC ?

I'm trying to justify if I should play immortal, or buy the d4 expansions and play that (I only own the base game).

Ive also been dabbling in the new poe2 season, and last epoch, but those games just lack the feeling of crunch I feel when playing the combat of Diablo games.

Will lord of hatred be the final d4 expansion before d5 ?

I've seen some quotes from the lead guy (rod) that the gap between d4 and d5 will be smaller than the gap between d3 and d4.

I'm curious if they have announced anything in that regard ? Id prefer if D4 stays as the long term live service version of Diablo (even rebrand it to Diablo infinite or something )

Why is this getting down voted ? Doesn't make sense. It's a simple question for the community. Did I hurt someones feelings making a topic about the future of d4 ?

How tight should it be ?

Reviewers claim they can't even notice they are wearing it. Well I can easily notice. Maybe it's too tight.

How loose can you wear it and still get accurate tracking of all metrics ?

People are allowed to be angry, and I'm sick of influencers online saying otherwise

Put it this way, the last 12 or so years my hobby wasn't gaming, it was destiny.

Through the highs and lows, I always returned to this masterpiece.

I'm seeing so many people online saying we shouldnt be upset, or we should support that other Bungie title. We shouldn't direct any anger towards community managers etc. well the reality is, these are the people we trusted for our information. I can understand they might not have known, but these are the public facing employees who offered promises time and time again of great content, roadmaps, etc. Executives are currently hiding behind them but what can we do as a community ? Show zero anger ?

I'm disgusted personally.

When I picked up Bungies new title and put over 150 hours into it over the course of the first season. I did it to support Bungie. To support destiny.

The only reason I even played that other game was as a stop gap between the next Destiny content drop which was delayed and delayed.

Now the end of life news drops and they think myself and countless others will simply support their new game ? Well NO I will not. I enjoyed my time with the game, but in my mind it was always a temporary stepping stone while I wait for my favourite game to release new content.

People are allowed to be angry. This wasn't just a game for many of us. This WAS our hobby. I am a destiny player, not a gamer.
