Anything considered “hard rock” falls under hair metal, nu metal, pop punk or another watered down version of an extreme genre. So why do we use this term? All it does is divide potential fans of heavier music and gatekeepers.

I haven’t really seen it mentioned but I think Maynard really helps the song

I have literally no tools besides a few power drills and hand saws. I’ll probably make a solid body electric guitar if that changes anything. I’m open to buying a premade neck but would prefer to make my own. I know I should probably get a drill press, some sort of sander, various fretting tools, rasps, a soldering iron, and some kind of bigger saw. Where do I start? Can I rent tools somewhere? Do I buy a neck premade? How much will tools cost?
