My ant plant is sending out flowers, and I'd like to try and get some seeds. Is there anything to be done besides just leaving it alone?
Bonus thagomizer.
Recently got a new Anthurium without realizing the apical growth point had been chopped. This is erupting from the scar, which I'm taking as a good sign, but I'm not quite sure what to make of it. Thanks!
Acquired in March as a 2nd instar. I'm astounded by the growth rate of this species.
Really looking forward to seeing how large it can get - fingers crossed for 100g!
I'm a big birder in my free time and I was wondering about the history of this phrase. Preliminary Google results tell me that it has something to do with archaic words for "plunder" and translations from Latin to French to English.
I've had it explained that it's analogous to "Men of Faith" as in "Men who possess Faith." I've always been curious why, in that case, something more like "Bird of Talon" wasn't coined in the first place, but I might be letting my modern English-speaking biases take over.
Episomus turritus and Eugnathus distinctus
Good for him!
The front horn appears to have a shovel-shape which seems unique. It might be a smaller individual of a much larger species. I'm doing some research on my own but any help would be appreciated.
I just won a match unexpectedly and want confirmation on an interaction. My Cofagrigus+Hydrapple+Mega Aggron vs their Mega Floette (final mon)
Last turn of Trick Room. Cofa uses Destiny Bond, Hydrapple attacks, Mega Floette lives and uses dazzling gleam. Cofa lives, Hydrapple faints, Trick Room ends.
Mega Aggron switches in, very low health. Floette uses dazzling gleam, KOing both Cofa and Aggron. Both my mon's health bars go down to 0.
Cofa faint animation plays, Destiny Bond triggers causing Floette to faint, then Aggron faints. I end up winning the match with no pokemon on the field.
I fully expected to lose since Floette landed the final attack, and I was under the impression that Destiny Bond mutual-KOs never result in a win. Is this how this interaction plays out normally? Since m-Aggron had just switched-in and both my mons are min speed, aggron should have been faster since there were no active speed modifiers in play (I thought the m-aggron being slower might have caused it to "die last" or something but aggron has higher base speed anyway)

EDIT Just realizing mega aggron actually has 20 higher speed than Cofa. Since Aggron had just switched in, aggron should have been faster since there were no speed modifiers in play besides trick room.
