I purchased a couple items from ebay for the spend $100, get $50 offer. The $50 was on hold until last night so i decided to check on it. Turns out that ebay categorized the $100+ transaction as 2 separate ($72~ & $45~) transactions therefore Cap1 just clawed back the $50. 🤷🏾. Fortunately these were two items I'd intended to purchase anyway, but losing $50 burns, it really burns 😆 🤣 😂 😹

Walmart in Triadelphia WV is nice enough to let us park here but a driver for Ihle Transport out of Kelly Ia couldn't be bothered to walk 200 feet into Walmart and relieve himself like normal human beings.

Yesterday i needed laundry detergent and realized there was a Dollar General a couple blocks from my hotel. I thought i remembered seeing DG in the Cap1 shopping offers so i checked, and sure enough, there was a 15% cashback in-store offer. I activated it inside the Cap1 shopping app and received the confirmation. I beebopped on over to DG and bought the detergent.

Side note: the prices seemed inflated so i actually question if the 15% was even a deal but i digress lol.

This morning i received an email from Cap1 saying that the 15% discount has been added to my card and is now ready for use.

So did i not earn any cashback yesterday or am i missing something?

I recently upgraded from a 4.0 to 5.0 mainly because of how often (every 2-3 days) i had to recharge it. Apart from that, i didn't really have any other issues with it. I was under the impression that the 5.0 battery would last a couple weeks or more. I've only been wearing the new 5.0 about a week and I'm already getting alerts about needing to charge it. Doesn't seem like much of an upgrade to me

My first time was in Huntsville Alabama many years ago. I walked into a Home2 and there it was, my name on the 42" led tv, super imposed on top of shimmering orbs of varying earth tones. I remember like it was many years ago 😆 🤣 😂 😹

I don't use CashApp that often but today i tried send a payment to someone and upon opening the app, i see that my linked credit union debit card has been replaced with a BOA debit card. I don't have an account with BOA. I checked the history and there are no transactions associated with this debit card, only the past few transactions I've made. Anyone know what to make of this?

I'm kinda starting to think Experian isn't genuinely interested in me making progress rebuilding my credit 🤷🏾‍♂️

Cap1 keeps sending me these new checking account bonus offers. 1st was $300, then $400, again today $300. But whenever i try to open a new checking account it gets denied because of Early Warning. I've requested a printout of whatever is supposedly in EWS to see how to get it resolved but the agony of not being able to get this bonus is driving me nuts 😆🤣😂😹

Is there an EWS work around ?

I bought an 1st gen ProX a few years ago and it's worked flawlessly for several years. Today the type cover just stopped working all of a sudden. I'm curious if this is a known issue because i have older Surface tablets and none of their type cover have suddenly stopped working

A few weeks ago, i was shocked to receive a pre-approved card offer out of the blue from Cap1. I let two quicksilver cards ($850 / $1250) charge off early 2024 after my then employer suddenly shut down just before Christmas 2023. I hadn't done anything to start dealing the credit mess i found myself in by mid year 2024.

Fast forward to a month ago when i received an email stating that i was pre-approved. Thinking it was a glitch in the matrix, i accepted and got a $300 sl.

I decided to go all in building a relationship with Cap1. I was denied for a 360 checking account because of early warning. But i was able to open a 360 savings account no problem.

My strategy is to use the card very heavily, charging $250-$300 and paying it off a couple of times each month before the statement closes. Also, I've setup $25 per week direct deposit into the savings account. I'm not sure if they offer CDs but I'd look into one of those as well.

Side note: Although i can see those two old charged off accounts in the Cap1 app, they have completely disappeared from all off my credit reports as if they never existed.

Any thoughts on this strategy?

While searching to see if a recent purchase had posted to my business checking account yesterday, i noticed a pending charge for Mama Rama in Scranton SC. While i didn't recognize the charge, i wasn't too alarmed because i travel for my work. Tonight, i decided to look into that charge and noticed 2 additional charges that i didn't recognize. I immediately called my bank's after hours line and confirmed with the agent that my card had been compromised. There were nearly a dozen $0 authorizations that i couldn't see. I find it incredibly strange that my bank's fraud alert system didn't catch any of this.

A year or so ago i opened a Onepay account because i needed a way to deposit cash from tips i'd receive each week. I'm a truck driver and i used to deliver high-end pontoon boats (three words i never knew could coexist in the same sentence 😆 but i digress)

A couple months ago my debit card was upgraded/transitioned to their credit builder card. I didn't think much of it until last night when i started getting alerts that a new card was added to my credit reports.

Turns out this card as far as i can tell reports as a no limit card.

Never in my life have I ever had a bank reject my direct deposit until Chime. They rejected my direct deposit because of the way the company i contract with has my middle name in their payroll system. I'm so glad i was only having a small fixed amount going into this account.

I just received my 1st statement from a new Cap1 SavorOne card. Either my due date is 6 days before my statement close date, or my statement close date passed a day or two before my statement posted yesterday.

I'm curious what balance, if any, will be reported when this new account hits my bureaus since i didn't have a zero balance when the initial statement closed

I have the chime app on my iPhone as well as my Samsung phone. I've been trying for the past two hours to instantly transfer money into my account. I tried via Apple pay and instant transfer from three different linked debit cards on my iPhone, and also an instant transfer from those same three linked debit cards using my Samsung phone. I jeep getting the error message in the screenshot. Called support and this genius immediately started blaming Apple saying i needed to call them. When i asked him how was Apple to blame for the exact same error message on my Samsung phone, he said it was Apple 😆 🤣 😂 😹

Anyone else have this issue?

I can't verify my Cap1 card after adding it to the Samsung wallet on my s25 ultra. After adding it, i try to verify the card but i get a prompt in Samsung wallet that i need to update my Cap1 app. But there is no update available.

Talked to cap1 support for almost an hour. They had me uninstall and reinstall the app several times but still nothing. I was able to add it to the Google pay app on my phone, but i don't use Google pay. I was also able to add it to my iPhone no problem. Anyone else run into this?

Just before Christmas 2023, the company i was working for vanished and went out of business taking with them my end of year bonus and reserves they were holding. Over the next 5 months, i ran through my backup reserves and savings trying to stay afloat until i got back on my feet. I ultimately ended up letting all of my cards go into default mid 2024 and subsequently they closed and charged off. This included 2 Cap1 Quicksilver cards for a total of around $2k; $1250 & $850 if i remember correctly

Nearly 3 years later, out of the blue, yesterday i received an unsolicited pre-approved SavorOne offer from Cap1 Thinking it wasn't legit, i follow it all the way through. I immediately received a welcome email from Cap1 congratulating me on my new card.

I had been a little bummed about seeing my mid 700 scores fall like a lead balloon and had even began kicking around the idea of bk ch7. But this little surprise gave me a little shot in the arm so to speak, and now I'm ready to tackle the rebuilding process.

I decided to pull all 3 bureaus through the annual credit report portal and to my surprise, neither of the two Quicksilver cards are showing anywhere on either of the three bureaus. It's like i never had them to begin with.

At any rate, I'm not sure what to make of all this. Hopefully this data point is helpful
