If Napoleon had lived longer, he might have lived to see the introduction of percussion cap firearms.
In 1807, a Scottish inventor name Alexander Forsyth , patented a new ignition system that used impact-sensitive explosives instead of flintlock.
However, percussion cap firearms only began to be developed to caplock as we know and widely adopted by European armies during the 1820s-1840s.
If Napoleon had remained alive little longer and learned about this development, what do you think his reaction would have been?

LF a Stalingrad game which isnt 'too' complex
I want to find a Stalingrad hex and counter which isnt too complex to play with my father.
Back in the day we played ASL (absolutely loved Red Barricades) but are looking for something quite a bit lighter these days (Dad is 90 and Im 50).
I was wondering if any could recommend something 😄

<3 the new salt water look - the polluted water not so much
Im missing the cool looking glimmer which used to wiggle over my polluted water pools.
It does look more pee-like I guess.
The salt water / brine looks amazing!
