I'm really tired of a lot of trolls on reddit throughout the website claiming reddit is filled with leftists when 99% of the people I interact with, comments I read, and posts I see, are pretty far right anywhere outside of Fox News and MAGA.

My university in Hawaii isn't much different. To white people, they feel and tell others they are leftists, but anywhere else in non white spaces or globally, they'd be considered for right.

I'm tired.

Seems like r/Leftist hardly has any leftists besides a few, and you are not one of them.

Edit 4: Free Palestine. I find it absolutely insane how at Hawaii University and "leftists " spaces in America. White people are "pro" palestine, but give 1000 reasons on why the ongoing genocide of Native Hawaiians and Native Americans is okay and something that isn't relevant. Why don't Americans and Westerners actually hold themselves accountable for the Middle East catastrophes, why do they always blame someone else?

Edit 5: You know, I noticed that the upvote ratio is too high at 58%. I think China is one of, if not, the leader of climate change mitigation efforts. Fake leftists white people cry about CO2 emissions today, but never want to reference historic co2 emissions per capita or the types of emissions because a lot of the West has the most useless Co2 emissions that produce nothing and consumes the most, while Chinas co2 emissions create goods and resources and has been substantially much less per person. If we didn't have tariffs on green technologies on China, we'd have affordable access to solar, EVs, electric busses, hydrogen, and other renewables at a micro to macro level. But all the fake leftists in government and in everyday life would rather the planet burn then let a non white lead in or be a large player in climate change mitigation efforts. I also think white Westerners hate China because the thought of having to treat a non white person as an equal, with human decency and respect, is a death sentence to their psyche. A lot of you seem openly racist towards China/Asians/or just about any other POC, in a white socially accepted way, but racist towards everyone else behind closed curtains. White Westerners normalize racism towards Asians and the Chinese outwardly because it's socially acceptable for whites, but aren't as bold with the other POC, at least this month, could change flavors next month to a different group of people, again. Yall don't care that poor non whites can't escape climate change catastrophes because of global warming and rapid climate change without resources to help the vulnerable. If it means saying "thanks China for the affordable green technologies at an affordable cost and sorry for the opium wars and enslavement till this day through western financial market exploitation and gun boat diplomacy, actually, to pretty much all of Asia and the global south", to make meaningful changes towards the Sustainable Development Goals and UN Charter, you couldn't do it. You'd rather take everyone down with you if it means or stand on everyone else to hold your head above the water.

Edit 6: most of you are cool with white western imperialism, supremacy, and colonialism and would love for these things to keep going. The thought of countries in Asia and the global south decolonizing and trying to adhere to the UN Charter and ths Sustainable Development Goals context bothers you. Indigenous groups still being genocided in the Americas is real and yall like to pretend it's not still happening and that it doesn't matter, but it does.

This Ed Sheeran story has been rather fascinating.

Ed Sheeran just made a public apology to his fans on stage about the “Macklemore situation,” where he showed major sympathy for the Palestinian people and their plight, and it still wasn't enough.

These pro-pali types and their millions of unblinking followers are still level 10 outraged because he failed to mention the word “genocide” in his apology.

Ed Sheeran simply wanted to play his music, and not get involved in politics or a complex war on the other side of the planet, and didn't want to ostracize any of his fans. A position that probably most normal people would prefer for themselves.

Of course, his “friend” Macklemore had to drag him into the mud publicly and now Sheeran can’t say enough to be forgiven – his heresy and failure to 100% bow to the mobs is unforgiveable.

The Game has clearly moved on, rather quickly I might add. Even not having a public “opinion” is not enough to save you now.

And if you do have an opinion, even if you publicly support the Palestinian people, you BETTER have the right opinion in 100% of the ever-changing herd mind, OR ELSE.

They cannot tolerate dissent. They can’t even tolerate silence re their newest causes - it’s “deafening” to them.

They demand the wider culture adopt their political posturing and fucking lose it when that doesn’t happen. They politicize everything and then accuse those who don’t go along with it as being the reason people are upset.

Most people either don’t give a shit what someone like Ed Shereen has to say about anything or they just want to listen to him sing his songs. They see people on the Left losing their mind over him having the audacity to not shout “Free Palestine” and guess what? They walk away less likely to care about that issue at all bc they recognize mental illness when they see it.

His viewers are mostly typical redditor types - overwhelmingly short white male, a little older than I expected, atheist, socialist, overwhelmingly unemployed/poor, and 65% on the Spectrum

Basically a lot of the least productive members of society

I am of the opinion that these findings make perfect sense and I could have predicted this, but its still shocking to see the numbers bear out.

I regularly follow a lot of extreme left subreddits, the most extreme I can find. One common thread they all have is that they hate Jewish people and Israel. All of these people are DSA voters.

So many times when DSA candidates underperform, many times they just blame Jews and billionaires, oftentimes Jewish billionaires, for their loses

They never blame their own naive silly and destructive policies.

Think about it. Their marketing team must be genius.

Went from zero viewership, considered a punchline, etc to massive sellout crowds in like one year, all by promoting the cattiness of these divas.

And it fucking works - before I wouldn't be caught dead watching wnba or reading about it, now I can't get enough.

I mean players hitting each other on court? Beating the shit out of Caitlin Clark? Angel Reese being some huge diva? Sophie pointing her finger? Players cheating on each others wives? Players disrespecting the national anthem? The league debating whether or not to allow men to play in it?

Just 100% soap opera drama. It was probably always there but we just didn't see it. It's not like the play on the court is more impressive than it used to be.

My dude friends who only care about NFL, college football, college basketball, MAYBE some NBA, and UFC, are now talking about WNBA. Some of these guys are taking their kids to WNBA games, which was unheard of even last year. It is working. And I would guess as it gets more popular these players' salaries will increase too

I mean this is amazing. All you got to do it promote the insane drama and have the media cover it. Its like Real Housewives of the WNBA
