I see a very common misconception regarding bots online a lot and i wanted to clear something up.

A statistic might say "50% of content on reddit is posted by bots".

This DOES NOT mean that on any given thread 50% of comments are bots. In fact you probably often see comment sections without any bots.

Bots will target certain subreddits and communities. Making 100 bot posts is faster than making 1 genuine post.

So of course its easy to outpace genuine content but that doesnt mean you actually get to see the relative percentage of bot posts.

If you go on a sub gor Pron advertisement then you will see more bots than on a sub about philosophy. Political subs will be more botted than a sub for a trading card game.

A lot of bot posts are just spam on unmoderated subreddits no one uses anymore that you never see.

My point is: Just because 50% of content on the entire website is bot generated it doesnt mean that 50% of the posts and comments you see while scrolling on here are.

As the title says what classes or archetypes are your favorites to play in RPG games? I need to fill the character limit so let me unnecessarily name some like fighter, mage, thief, paladin, cleric, healer, druid, yo mama, necromancer, spellsword, or hybrid of any of the above?

There are several question subs that are entirely just an opinion disguised as a question. Its very clear OP knows the answer and just wants their opinion repeated at them. Its not even that i disagree with most of them its just that i dont get why you need to play dumb and ask instead of going to a sub where you can just share your opinion.

This is about the most classic version of the problem: one track has a single person on it and the other has several (lets say 5).

Now most people would of course choose to kill the single person because they would argue one life lost is better than 5 lives lost.

However here is my issue with this: The lever that controls the tracks does not have a neutral position. This means it was already pointing at one of the tracks.

Lets assume it points at track A with the 5 people.

If i never showed up 5 people would have died. If i show up and do nothing 5 people die.

But if i want to change it then i am actively involving myself in the situation by using the lever. Therefore my actions directly lead to the death of the single person whereas my inaction would have lead to the death of 5 people.

So besides deciding if several lives are more valuable than a single one im also making a decision that might effect me psychologically.

I would argue watching 5 people die by not doing anything is different from actively being the person who chose to take an action (use the lever) that lead to the death of a person who would have otherwise survived.

Being a neutral observer in the death of 5 people vs being directly responsible for the death of one person are psychologically different.

Is this just the point of the problem in the first place and im stupid for only thinking about this now? Or am i taking the issue to literally by thinking about the psychological consequences?

Ich finde Philosophie sehr interessant habe aber nie wirklich Zugang dazu gehabt.

Einige Freunde von mir haben Philosophie studiert und durch Gespräche mit ihnen wirkt es so als sei das Thema extrem unzugänglich für Laien wie mich.

Ich habe aus politischem Interesse mal das Kapital von Marx gelesen und vieles nicht verstanden. Ein Freund meinte dann klar, ich müsse ja erst Hegel verstehen um Marx zu verstehen und um Hegel zu verstehen muss ich Platon verstehen.

So interessant ich die Thematik finde ich bin einfach niemand der 10 Bücher lesen will um ein anderes Buch zu verstehen.

Ist die Thematik wirklich so komplex und unzugänglich? Habt ihr Tipps, wie man sich in das Thema einarbeitet als vollkommener Laie? Wo fange ich an? Wo finde ich raus, welche Philosophen für mich interessant sind und wie entscheide ich, welche deren Werke ich lesen sollte?

Gibt es Bücher, die jeder gelesen haben sollte der an der Thematik interessiert ist?

Ich weiss diese Frage ist sehr allgemein aber ich stelle sie mir dennoch ständig. Wir haben ein sehr striktes Datenschutzgesetz. In meinem letzten Job wurde von unsere Beauftragten gesagt wir dürfen Kunden nicht mal ohne Erlaubnis anrufen.

Gleichzeitig darf aber die Politik ohne meine Einwilligung Verträge mit Firmen wie Palantir schließen und mich per Geschichtserkennung überwachen. Sind solche Fälle vom Datenschutz einfach ausgenommen? Hier werden ja gegen meinen Willen diverse Daten über mich na private Firmen weitergegeben. Dass Firmen das dürfen wenn ich einer AGB zustimme kann ich verstehen aber in dem Fall habe ich ja keinerlei Mitspracherecht.

Ich habe leider keine Ahnung von Recht daher sorry falls es eine dumme Frage ist.

Wenn ich diese Erinnerung bei wichtigen Dingen hätte waere ich wahrscheinlich ein Genie.

So i stole the Idol of Sylvanus hoping i might get away with it but ended up getting myself stuck and fought the druids in the grove. Now all druids are dead and the tieflings fell to the druids. Thing is that so far my companions havent left me and Halsin isnt mad either (for now, hes still by the prison cells).

Im wondering if i kill the goblin leaders now what will happen? Will there be a party with no guests because the tieflings are dead? Will Halsin get mad once he returns to the grove and everyone is dead?

Im contemplating i if i want to fight the leaders or just move on. Has anyone had this situation before? I always thought its either save the grove and party with the tieflings or kill it and party with the goblins.

On my current playthrough i killed the absolutists before the drider arrived so i have no access to the moonlantern. Then at last light inn isobel was taken.

Without the lantern or Dollys blessing how do i navigate the worse parts of the shadow curse now? Is there still a way to encounter the drider if i already killed his posse? Is there another moonlantern somewhere that isnt inside the shadow curse?

Any other solutions? I dont know how else i can get to moonrise.

Can a horse person tell me if im tripping or do i have a point?

I installed fallout fixt and the hd patch. Im playing at 3440x1440 if that matters. The framerate cap doesnt seem to work, it just runs at my monitors max framerate ( 110). The game feels very jittery. Obviously thats how it would have felt running at about 20 frames on an older system but i was wondering if there is a way to make the cursor move more smoothly?

I have tried both fullscreen and windowed fullscreen and it made no difference. 2x scaling is on because otherwise it gets hard to read.

So i have modded new vegas many times before. I have all the DLCs and the german version. While trying to install the script extender it tells me i need a fix to make it uncut or should contact steam to get the proper uncut .exe.

I remember there was a simple fix that i used to use but i can not for the love of me find it. When i try to get support on steam they just link me to bethesda.

What do i do now? I just want to patch my exe to be uncut so i can mod it properly.

So im inside the ghostgate and have already retrieved keening. Now i want to get sunder from vemynal. I go to the area on my map named vemynal and there are ruins coming out of the ground. There is an entrance thats also marked on the local map but it isnt open/ i cant interact with anything.

What am i missing?

EDIT: so i used "ToggleCollision" in the console and it turns out there was a wall in front of the entrance for some reason? Maybe i was supposed to get sunder first, then keening as it is listed in the journal. Anyway if you encounter this issue you can get through that wall with the console command and the door is right behind it. I hope i didnt break anything but nowhere did i find a switch or valve to remove the wall.

So im in house Telvanni and i am a mouth. When aksing about advancement im being told i need a stronghold to become wizard. My stronghold is in the second phase and the woman tells me to continue building i need to be a master wizard of house Telvanni.

How can i be a master wizard to build my tower when i have to build my tower to be a wizard??? Is this just not correct? Do i just need to keep doing quests and it will resolve itself?
