Is it unethical for an adult to take in an adolescent who has no one family and is in dire need of help

I'll give context. This has NOT happened to me or anyone and hopefully it won't.

I'm writing a story, currently 92 chapters and only now this doubt came into my mind. Sorry.

In brief:

26 year old socially awkward lady gets her wallet stolent by a 15 year old girl and then finds her laying down in an alleyway soon after.

She's sick and is hurt etc. She decides to take her home, take care of her while she can and wants to call social services but hesitates for stuff that rn is unnecessary to mention.

The girl has no family and no one to help her, so she is perfectly fine with this and actually grows to care about the lady.

Obviously there is no romance whatsoever.

So… Can I leave it as it is or does it seem creepy?

In breve, scrivo praticamente light novel.

Per chi non sapesse cosa fossero, anche se ne dubito: immaginate una via di mezzo fra anime e novelle. Praticamente libri incentrati molto di più sui dialoghi.

Punto al divertirmi, passare il tempo e cose così, tuttavia vorrei evitare di sembrare un'AI possibilmente.

Probabilmente faccio schifo, probabilmente non farò carriera, ma al diavolo. Però questa cosa mi mette una leggera ansia.

Piccolo estratto qua, fatemi sapere se da' quell'impressione.

Vorrei anche chiarire che sono molto più abituato all'inglese che all'italiano quindi si potrebbero sentire rimasugli della lingua

Le campane della chiesa iniziarono a suonare.

Un rintocco profondo, seguito da un altro, si diffuse sopra i tetti del paese.

Io e Iris alzammo istintivamente lo sguardo.

Il sole alto in cielo indicava che fosse mezzogiorno.

Pochi istanti dopo, le grandi porte della chiesa si aprirono e alcuni fedeli iniziarono a riversarsi lungo la scalinata.

Attesi in silenzio che il passaggio si sgombrasse.

Nel frattempo lasciai vagare lo sguardo sul panorama.

Perfino da quell'altezza la spiaggia appariva gremita di persone.

Gli ombrelloni coloravano la costa come un mosaico.

Mi domandai cosa stessero facendo le altre e i ragazzi.

Speravo almeno che fossero riusciti a riposarsi un po'.

Dopo qualche minuto, il viavai cessò.

La scalinata tornò silenziosa.

Rimanemmo soltanto io e Iris.

Voltandomi, vidi la ragazza con la testa rivolta verso l'alto.

Continuò a guardare verso la chiesa, evitando accuratamente il mio sguardo.

Lentamente la abbassò, fino a fissare il pavimento roccioso e sporco.

C'era qualcosa, nel modo in cui teneva il capo leggermente abbassato, che sapeva di vergogna.

Alla fine annuì appena.

Il suo tono divenne più fragile.

Accompagnò quelle ultime parole con le dita, mimando le virgolette.

Poi voltò lentamente il capo verso di me.

Sulle sue labbra comparve un sorriso, ma era vuoto.

Così tirato da sembrare sul punto di rompersi.

Senza dire altro, Iris sollevò lentamente una manica.

Il tessuto scivolò lungo l'avambraccio.

Una grossa benda, ancora chiazzata di sangue ormai rappreso, le avvolgeva il braccio.

Mi si mozzò il respiro.

Gli occhi si spalancarono da soli.

La bocca rimase socchiusa, incapace perfino di lasciar uscire un'esclamazione.

I tried making a parenting tier list but it evolved into Adler's glaze and tbh i don't mind he deserves it

I used to make a ton of tier lists in the past since it was fun and maybe I'll give it a shot again with NTE. The only problem is the limited cast.

Now that I think about it, Hotori is maybe a bit too strong for this game lorewise

In her PV, we see her talk to young Adler telling him to meet her family and apparently help her younger self which in turn ended up with the creation of Eibon.

Putting aside how goated Adler is, what she did implies she can either go back in the past or send people in the past.

That's… Really fucking busted?

This woman has complete control over time itself. Her departure from the Bureau left an insane hole in their power.

I can't remember if her time stop is limited or not (It probably is) but like… Can't she solve 99% of the problems in the game?

Why are we even doing all that with the Scarlet Letter?

I already knew Hotori was top 1 in the game in terms of power lorewise, but how do you genuinely beat this woman?

She can stop time, slit your throat, t-pose to assert dominance, make out with Daffy and done.

I guess you can chop her head when she's drunk or asleep, but that's how it goes for many characters in general.

Seriously, why isn't Inanna already dead if Hotori is there?

In light of recent events…

1.3 will probably have a summer event.

Zero said they were all gonna go to the beach and have fun.

Assuming Zankou is the 1.3 S rank, which she probably is, she'll 100% get the swimsuit skin.

Hotta has the ability to cook so fucking hard.

Besides, wouldn't a chill event set after the mess be perfect? Everything's resolved, but Zankou is still here and she needs rehabilitation.

Wouldn't this be the *PERFECT* chance to redeem her and show she changes? If they are even going to redeem here in the first place.

Anyway, i'm waiting for her interactions with Daffy. They'll be so freaking hilarious.

I'm pulling. If she isn't a break DPS and can't be paired with Daffy, fuck it i'm pulling anyway

She sat on her ass for half her screentime doing nothing and acting all smug.

She showed up in the middle of the SCARLET Letter storyline. Oh God, I wonder who she may be.

She supposedly trains her daughters herself, and Zankou came out like that.

Zankou was soloed by a somewhat tired Zero and only managed to get Daffy down since she was distracted and cause she went for Nanally.

At least Zankou has aura and is a cool lady with a katana.

Inanna has a cool hat.

1.3 will have to do so damn much to make her feel like an actual villain.

Hypothetically speaking, what could be the runtime of 1.3? 4 hours?

If so, they have to handle red hood girl, Daffy stuff, Nanally stuff, Bureau stuff, explanations regarding what's happening, probably a raid, fights, Zankou and Zero rematch etc...

How is Inanna gonna get anything?

I can't wait to obliterate her ass with my A1 Daffy paired with Nanally.

Possibly not the typical isekai, royalty stuff. Even better if it's set in our world.

A similar artstyle would be better, but i can live without it.

I'd like a similar vibe to On my way to meet mom since Rayder and Mori reach their destination. Those few chapters where they're at home.

Also, I'd prefer if there was no romance. Just pure parenthood at it's most wholesomeness.

Do I have mommy issues according to what i'm writing in this post?

Nothing horny, don't worry.

It's just that in any single media I consume, I always get attached to any character that seemingly has a parental relationship with another one.

Even more if it's a woman.

I just love having a stoic, possibly depressed and serious character having a small, chaotic gremlin to brighten up their day.

Anime, manga, videogames, books. It doesn't matter matter. I love it EVERYWHERE. Except irl, idk why.

I'm also an aspiring writer who's written quite a lot and in 4 out of the 7 stories i've written/am writing there's this type of relationship.

Hell, in 2 of these it's literally a main plot point.

There's even something similiar in a game i'm recently playing and while the story is very flawed and a 6.5/10 at best, when those two characters separated it devastated me.

Does this count as having mommy issues? I'm genuinely afraid
