I’ve been eating below my estimated maintenance, but I’m still up a few pounds on the scale recently.

I’m tracking my calories fairly closely, so I’m confused about how this is happening. Is this most likely just water weight/glycogen/food weight, or could my maintenance estimate be way off?

How long should I wait before assuming I’m actually gaining fat?

For context, eating about 1500-1600 calories as a 175 lb, 6'0 17 year old. Thanks.

I am a 17 year old male (18 this December!) that wants to get a nice graduation gift for myself. I have a limited-modest budget of about $5,000 Canadian Dollars (3,585.38 USD). Some of my favorite brands are Omega, Grand Seiko, A Lange & Sohne Odysseus (definitely outside of my budget, a man can dream).

I am looking for suggestions for a really nice watch. I prefer neutral colors that are similar to the Seamaster. I do not need to be very complex, and preferably a not very flashy watch. I also love unique dials, such as shunbun, snowflake, and ones with texture, which is a reason im super attracted to grand seiko.

Some of my ideas included the SBGX355, an older Seamaster Diver, and a Day-Date Carrera. I am really hoping for some suggestions, thank you so much!

I'm entering first year this fall, and I am extremely interested in getting first-year-rep positions in the coming fall. However, I am very well aware of how difficult and competitive these positions are.

I was wondering if any upper-year students could share some advice on what helped them stand out during the application process, what qualities clubs look for in first-year reps, or anything they wish they knew going into the process.

I have a question that I believe is a bit childish. I just began my weight loss journey as a 18 year old. My friends constantly invite me to eat food with them, and that has really stunted my progress. On most days, I will be able to go on a deficit, and suddenly I go neutral or gain a bit after going out with them. I just want a bit of advice on what to do, although it feels a bit childish and trivial. Thank you.

Hello everyone. I am a current Grade 12 student who will be attending a decently prestigious Canadian university this fall. I really hope to transfer into a T20 for most likely second year. I am just wondering how much weight do High School grades typically play? I will do my best to get a 3.9-4.0 through college. Any advice for this switch would be geniunely appreciated. Thank you.

I geniunely am so stressed, I have an insane headache just from worrying. I didn't manage to get into Waterloo today, and I'm pretty sure its ggs. I did really bad on my Rotman interview, and QComm just seems so screwed since theres only 50 or something seats left. I have never been so scared before and my best is literally schulich rn I want to break down and cry.
