mildly unpopular FACT :3 (read desc) (trust me)

True masculinity is being happy and not caring what others think. Just because you are transgender, insecure, or feeling sad does not make you less of a man. Real men cry when they need to, because they’re humans too. Pink isn’t for girls, you can like it if you want.

There are so many people saying things are girly or not for men or that transgender people aren’t real men. Why do trucks need to be manly? Why do dolls need to be girly? Walking with a small curve isn’t gay.

And what’s wrong with being gay? Yeah, some guys like guys. Big deal, so what?

Apologies for the small joke, but all fetuses start out as girls so we’re all transgender anyway /j.

Break social standards and know that hundreds, thousands, maybe even MILLIONS are behind you and will support you. Including me, a fully straight and christian male :D

Tough question, Best LC? (read desc)

Going by chassis code makes the most sense so I nominate the VDJ200R!

Amazing luxury while keeping a classy wood grain interior filled with buttons! A tough 4.5L V8 that puts out a ton of power and proven to put down 400-500,000kms for breakfast (see images)!

KDSS makes this a monster with front suspension flex (source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hBQgYBpGCtg) that is genuinely on-par with SOLID AXLE JEEPS! Yes, that same guy later on tests Jeeps in that way and THE 200 HANGS WITH THEM!

So, here’s a challenge… Prove me wrong!

I also want to mention no hate, just a friendly discussion and maybe a little convincing about why the VDJ200 reigns supreme :3 Also, I’m not buying or anything, just a fun little thing!

Edit: Forgot to mention the big 650nm of torque to make sure you feel like your hauling air and not a brick-shaped 2,500-2,700kg fat 4wd :D

How’s it like living in Canberra (Australia)?

Now, I‘d say anybody could tell you the good parts about any place.

I’m planning to move there (from NSW) and I’d want to know what the BAD parts are, how would a local see Canberra? I know it‘s a large and diverse place so there could probably be a million answers, but it’s good to know.

I’d also like to know how boring it is, ultimately NSW is both quiet and has a bit of night-out fun sprinkled in and it would be great to have that in Canberra.

Safety isn’t quite an issue since Australia overall is pretty safe, but it’d be cool to know that too!

Driving would be a REAL help too! For example, the traffic amount and overall culture of the traffic would be pretty helpful!

And one last thing, if I’m gonna live here for a decade or more, is it suitable?

Are SUVs allowed on this sub?? Are they technically trucks?

Some I can understand, like the excursion. Others like the Jeep, Expedition, and Escalade, I don’t know. What are yall’s opinion on this??

No hate, but what’s the appeal in 6+ inch lifts and rubberbands?

Image is for reference.

I see no reason as to why somebody would like this as somebody who really like trucks/cars and is understandable on terms of opinion. You can have huge tires and a huge lift, or small tires and a small lift but why small tires and a high lift? You ruin your ride quality which as a leaf-spring lover, I definitely don’t need ride quality but just why this much?

I do SORT OF understand how this might seem cool to some people, such as extreme negative camber for cars but with this you could genuinely roll over if you steer too hard.

Then there’s the offroad capability… yep nope horrible. Towing? Good luck with the hitch.

Now, I repeat, NO HATE! I understand, people have their own opinions and I too love large lifts but 6+ on rubberbands is just… something.

Chevy is severely lagging behind as currently there’s no point to buy one besides brand loyalty. Here’s why I think why:

Chevy used to be the one to get if you wanted to daily a truck that can still tow, somebody that accepts it’s probably gonna be a mall-crawler but still somewhat tows. Nowadays Ram is extremely luxurious and so is Ford, suspension in the Ram has also been extremely refined by air suspension with minimal difference from Chevy. GMC is the way to go if you really want a proper difference.

Numbers also aren’t in the favor for Chevy here, it has the lowest towing capacity out of the HDs and torque and it’s in the middle in terms of horsepower so you can’t even argue any yee-haw points.

The 1500s are definitely different but I still would go for Ram for reliability and Ford for true power.

As an Australian, I see no point for buying Chevy and even in the midsize class it gets completely drop-kicked by the Tacoma and Ranger. Speaking of Toyota..

The 3rd gen Tundra puts out wild power kicking out the Chevy, while it has lower towing numbers the Tundra simply tows much smoother and the Toyota badge soothes you as you know one or two facelifts later and it’ll be regarded as bulletproof just like the 2nd gen.
