I had been aiming for other colleges as well but comedk cutoffs are scaring me, I'm almost sure I might get ise in round 4 here, a little chance for cse in nie(not sure about this as it lost affiliation) and ise in bit(this is the one im aiming for, acc to prism i will get it but who knows?)

Do they get the same opportunities as cse students?

Is the syllabus and faculty same? Why are someone saying ise is stricter?

I already know about the hectic attendance and schedule.

Is there anything else I should know?

EDIT: ALSO I WOULD LIKE TO PERSONALLY MESSAGE SOME SENIORS ABOUT HOSTELS STUFF.

I have been interested in these books recently, I know technically I can read both one by one, but I don't know which one will wow me the most, like the "I'm glad I read that one first" feeling. And I might not have patience later for the same type of plot as they are quite similar.

For more information, I had been a big Harry Potter fan years ago, found Draco hot and even shipped dramione. So I wouldn't have any problem with the world building or even the characters. Infact I was thinking of reading Manacled first. But people say Alchemised is finer and more well written.

Some other things I have heard is that Manacled is more angsty, fmc is more broken, which for me is a good thing. But then again, I might feel slightly inclined to discontinue if Hermione and Draco are not acting the way I had expected or perceived their characters. Which makes Alchemised a better option.

So people who have read both, which one would you prefer to read first?

It's for the people who got the same in both boards and compartment/improvement.

It seems that a huge number of people got same marks, in my case it is simply not possible. I scored 77 in bio in boards initially, but expected 90+ this time, but it is exact 77 again.

Never in my school I scored the same in one exact subject.

Initially I had thought maybe because I scored less in improvement, hence they are showing the more marks only, but then many people are saying they scored less in improvement. It means the results did show the lower marks, even if I got lower why won't they show it?

Why is no one raising an issue? This seems to be a massive glitch...

Also when is the reevaluation date?

I got kinda bored of reading the modern dark romance books, guess it is time for something new. I have less trigger warnings and pretty much open to everything, non con recs are very welcomed.

-I think I will like something where the mmc is extremely obsessed with the fmc, like his entire world revolves around her, 'I can't live without you' vibes. He will not let the fmc go under any circumstances. He can do some really bad things like killing people, manipulating the fmc, making her dependent on him, etc, all the while also taking care of her. He can be very morally grey or pitch black as well(but he must genuinely love her).

-fmc and mmc can be anything, of any personality and status, circumstances should make mmc fall in love with her rather than some "love at first sight". It's fine if fmc doesn't likes him back initially, mmc would be pursuing her anyways.

-I want a lot of angst and drama that might involve something like forbidden relationship, affairs etc.

Some situations I would love, but not too necessary:

-mmc and fmc are childhood friends. Knight x princess/Queen trope. Princess/Queen x Jester. Rival prince x princess. Arranged marriage or forced marriage.

-fmc doesn't wants to continue relationship with mmc maybe because she doesn't feels the same way, has to marry someone else, their relationship is forbidden, or mmc's actions have creeped her out, getting rejected breaks the mmc so he forcefully non cons the fmc.

-Like I mentioned non con is very welcome, but I don't really like the brutal ones where mmc is doing it to hurt or punish her, I would like the ones where he is really desperate for her, can't control himself because he loves her too much. If people here have read about them, I'm talking about someone like Jesse Sampson from corrupt idol+obsession by Dinah Harper, Milo from Quarantine series, Caden from Unapologetic obsession by Drethi Anis, Theo from Perfect by Ariana Rivers etc.

-Jealous scenes from mmc's pov. I love other man dramas so much but not other woman dramas.

-I have read a lot of otome isekai and regression manhwas, so I would love if the vibes are similar. They do have obsessed mmcs but sometimes they are too mild.

-Some historical accuracy to make it feel authentic, like not too modern feels.

Things I don't want:

-mmc or fmc having any previous children.

-pregnancy and baby being born already in the middle of the book, I'm fine with pregnancy tropes or breeding kink but I hate it when mcs become parents midway while their conflicts are still unresolved. If it's at the very end or epilogue it is fine.

-Preferably no fantasy(but I can let this one go if a book is too good).

I already know about lemonade, brutal serpent, unseen so please don't recommend them.

Just want to confirm something, you can reply by yes or no.

Did I get the same marks this time? It is practically impossible, it never happened in my school life where I got the same marks twice in any subject, and moreover I was confident it would increase.

Anyone else seeing the same marks they got previously?

Or did cbse not bother checking my paper and gave the same?

{Ominous by K. V. Rose} has been behind the back of my mind for so long. I have many other favs but this one stands out so much.

-First and foremost, Fmc must be obsessed with the mmc, almost rivaling his obsession for her. It's not something hidden, she is genuinely so consumed by her feelings for him, which she can't help or change for a long time.

-They are very possessive of each other. Like you know Eden threatened the ow with a knife, and Eli beat up Dom. There must be jealousy scenes from both povs.

-A toxic relationship between the both of them. I think this point is the most important. The way they both infuriated each other, fumed each other's jealousy, hurt each other. I loved that they were destroying themselves for their relationship, Eli neglecting his mental heath, while Eden lying to everyone in her life to the point her loyalty only lay with Eli. She didn't leave him, many times just because she was so in love with him, there was no distancing herself for most part even if it hurt her.

-Both must be mentally ill and have some issues which affects their relationship. Perhaps they both spiral at one point.

-Optional points? Them doing reckless stuff together, make up sex after breaking up multiple times, unwanted pregnancy which the fmc is so against keeping. Nickname giving, should I say that I absolutely loved that Eden called Eli "Baby Boy" and actually used it so many times, it's rare to see fmcs give nicknames to the mmcs. It would be especially better if mmc loves it so much as well. "They will kill for each other" or "They will burn the world for each other" vibes.

What made Ominous special was perhaps the fmc, there was no actual forcing or coercion on mmc's part, fmc was so helplessly in love and down bad, she just did everything even if it felt wrong. Eden is one such fmc I was surprisingly able to relate to.

Ominous made me feel so sad and bittersweet, seeing both of them destroy each other while not being able to leave, until the end where they were finally seperated. It was as if both of them were in their own delusion of a perfect relationship until that bubble burst and they realized how sick they were. Maybe it was sadder because they didn't get a HEA yet(and I don't know when or if kvr will ever release sinister. I have kind of accepted the non hea ending.)

The only other example I can think of is Thatcher and Lyra from The blood we crave by Monty Jay, although they had a much healthier relationship not the toxic fire like EdenEli.

I'm open to any kind of recs, for this specific post I think I won't keep any constraints.

I'm a very indecisive person and probably got adhd as well, it's hard for me to focus unless I'm completely immersed into the plot. So far it had been great, but recently I can't focus again or to decide what to read next.

So I read enough cruel mmcs for a while, now I'm looking for mmcs who loves the fmc so much it hurts.

-maybe because they got a forbidden relationship or fmc doesn't likes him back/reciprocates his feelings, doesn't understand him, very oblivious fmc or fmc hates him.

-or maybe the fmc had betrayed him, he knows he should hate her but he can't because he loves her too much.

-they are childhood friends so they have been together for a long time.

-fmc has been the only good thing in his life.

-jealousy scenes, mmc is ott jp and can't bear any men in the vicinity of the fmc.

-clingy mmcs who always follows her around.

The best example I can give right now is Milo from Quarantine series by Drethi Anis. I loved seeing him yearn for her, the way he was unable to stay away from her, was consumed by his obsession to the point he lost his own self.

Maybe he non cons her once he loses control and also kinda regrets it later because he lost fmc's trust.

No not the dark romance type or erotic horror, like real real horror with ghosts, haunted houses, creepy clowns, slashers etc. where mcs get stuck and have to make it out of here.

Think a friend group gets stuck in a forest which is haunted or try to explore a haunted house and get stuck and have to make it out of there, or maybe the group gets transported to a different world completely(have you seen the webtoon "School Bus Graveyard? That's a perfect example of this), or they just try to summon ghosts in a sleepover and end up getting in trouble. Mmc and fmc are obviously part of the friend group, they must already have some chemistry or tension going on between them beforehand. The horror incidents will put them in a mode of survival, bringing out more of their love for each other.

I would love the mmc being protective of the fmc. Both of them trying to take care of each other or sacrifice for each other. Some sweet scenes where they trauma bond or take care of each other.

This is what I would prefer the most but I will also take recs where mcs fall in love in the middle of crisis, maybe they didn't like each other that much before or maybe they are complete strangers(don't prefer it too much).

The Romance can be a sub plot as well, since I want the horror to be the focus conveying that creepy chilly environment.

Doesn't have to be anything 18+ or even if it is it's fine, as long as my other requirements are fulfilled(lol I don't think mcs would have time to fuck if they are getting hunted 😅🤣).

Please no Love triangles, mcs having chemistry with other characters, non heas(maybe some of their friends die but I want the mcs to make it out together even if they are traumatized).

I swear simple books like this are so hard to find, I think I have seen these type of dynamics in some games or something. Horror and Romance have always been two of my favorite genres, therefore I love works that can combine the both of them. Some dark romances do it technically but they don't have this exact thing I mentioned here.

So I have been thinking of starting this series and saw it has 4 books. I know it has themes of forced pregnancy and breeding, but I kinda hate it if the mcs become parents midway in a series when their problems are still unsolved. A personal preference you can say 😅. So tell me when their kid(s?) is born, I hope it's in the epilogue or atleast somewhere by the end after major problems are done and it's all ok between the mcs.

-I don't want the age gap to be too big like 2-4 years only.

-Would be better if fmc and mmc have known each other for a long time. Perhaps he is her younger brother's friend or maybe they know each other because their families are friends.

-Fmc has never seen mmc in a romantic way, she is overly mature and acts like a big sister to him and treats him like a younger brother. In her mind he is just a small angry kid.

-On the other hand mmc is extremely obsessed with her, he has been following her around ever since he was a little boy. He hates that he is never taken seriously or fmc never picks up any hints. He gets extremely jealous seeing fmc with older men, knowing they are more of her type.

-Maybe he ends up confessing his feelings, and again she doesn't takes him seriously. She ends up joking about him telling him he is probably misguided and that she is too old for him, instead he should go after someone of his age.

-Then mmc snaps and loses his mind, he had been pining behind her for so long and is very bitter due to the rejection, more because fmc didn't even consider his feelings could be genuine. He ends up non coning the fmc just to prove he had *always been serious*. While fmc feels utterly betrayed, she can't even fathom that the boy she knew for so long would do this to her and starts to hate him.

-Want lots of angst and an unapologetic crazy mmc who will not let go of her no matter what. She had been his light for as long as he remembers.

So I was reading Quid Pro Quo and got this idea and would love any recs matching all of these.

I know cse and ise are, but what about specializations of cse and aiml. In some places it is said aiml is nba accredited while in some not. What's the true info?

Imagine this:

1.I get alloted a college in round 1.

2.I want to keep the seat and upgrade.

3.I pay the 20,000 counselling fees and 3 lakhs whatever is required(tell me).

4.Then in round 3, is it possible to get alloted the same college if it is in the preference list in case I don't get the better options on the top of it? If it is NOT in the list will I lose the round 1 seat? Or will it remain alloted as I go to round 4?

5.Then even in round 4 I don't get anything but it. I have to accept it.

My confusion lies mostly with step 4. I'm asking this for my backup college which I'm getting in round 1 surely. I know I will get the better options as well in r4 acc to cutoffs but it's unpredictable.

-there has to be some other man drama. Maybe the fmc is required to keep a fiance, but none of them should be serious about it, but obviously the mmc sees it as something different. Or even better, fmc is intentionally going to other men to make mmc jealous, she wants to see that side of him or to infuriate him because he might have done something.

-lots of jealousy and possessive scenes not just one, mmc literally can't bear any men or women in the vicinity of the fmc.

-Or it can be like this as well,other men hitting on or trying to flirt with the fmc but she is oblivious to it, or knows and doesn't cares because she has some purpose.

-it would be even better if all of this happens in the same book, I'm dying to see some jealous mmcs after reading a lot of books with controlled mmcs.
