Lost Fob
Can you purchase and program your own replacement key fob in order to do it cheaper than the dealer and other options?

I found these hand-made baby clothes possibly from the early 1950's (I know the person who wore them was born in 1950).
I wish to re-home them but I'm not sure if I should try to clean them first, or if a collector would prefer them untouched. What cleaning method would be best?
Hypothetical situation: your handsome (not balding and paunchy) friend wants to make funds for an M14 so he wishes to de-accession one of two candidate M1's. Do you advise him to let go of an:
We have just purchased a low-mileage 2017. Is there anything we should do or be aware of?
Has anyone done any research into these M1C's? I know the CMP had a bunch, but do we know any of the story behind them?
I renewed my vehicle tag and they are apparently changing my tag from the vanity message I had to a normal, random tag number. Is this normal? Do I have to go re-apply for my vanity plate?
I wonder if they took my custom tag away because they figured out what 8647 meant...
How is manual focus on the X100vi? I've read mixed reviews.
I am interested in this camera for landscape, street work and social documentary, but a lot of the images I see here are typically soft and (sometimes very) noisy. Is this the result of using a film simulation setting or other kinds of attempts to create a film look?
I have started a database of AFPG rifles. Here is a screenshot of the rifles I've documented so far. I know of others yet to be added but wanted to post this for review. If you don't see your rifle on here and would like to add it, kindly shout out.
I can also advise on provenance for some rifles on the list (although I don't share any non-public information).
Stephanie is at Megan's place in LA after she calls Don for help. Everything is fine during the visit until Stephanie comes out of the shower, things turn cold between the two women after Stephanie jokingly says she knows Don's secrets (presumably referring to his real idenity?), they both recognize the change in tone, and then Megan essentially pays her to leave.
Its never been clear to me why it goes south. Why does Megan do this and then lie to Don about it later?
Does anyone else feel this location operates under a cloud of unhappiness and managerial dysfunction?
In the early 1960's, some years after the US adopted the 7.62 NATO cartridge, the US Navy sought to update some of their 30.06 M1 Garands to the new standard.
As the 7.62 NATO round is .30, they engaged American Machine and Foundry (AMF) - also known for making Harley Davidsons and bowling alley machines - to modify their M1's through the installation of a chamber insert in existing 30.06 barrels to adapt them to the 7.62 NATO cartridge. Along with AMF, they engaged HRA as well, and many thousands were modified. These modified rifles, one of which is pictured here, officially became the Mark 2 Mod 0, and ceased being M1's, at least in name.
Unfortunately, the Navy soon learned that the inserts would sometimes pop out when firing. Although this apparently happened less (or perhaps not at all) with rifles modified by HRA, reportedly due to their using a different installation/retention technique, the Navy decided to re-barrel their rifles with 7.62 NATO barrels going forward, thus solving the problem. That variation is known as the Mark 2, Mod 1, and those new 7.62 NATO barrels were manufactured by Springfield Armory just prior to its closure.
Very early in the Mod 0 program, they marked the newly converted rifles "7.62 NATO" on the left side of the receiver, a practice they quickly abandoned, presumably because it limited the potential for converting back to 30.06 should they ever wish to do so.
It has been reported that only the first 100 were marked this way. I keep a database of this rare variant and have documented only twenty examples, including two that are no longer extant. My rifle retains what is almost certainly it's original barrel, dated 1/45, which was the production month of the receiver as well.
EDIT: I am not lookinfor the Board of Equalization.
I am looking for someone well-versed in the records room at city hall to give me some paid private instruction. Generally, I need to find deeds and easements for my own investing (not to provide services to others).
Can anyone recommend a very basic and inexpensive "starter" kit for a plug in system? I'm looking into a panel or two and the inverter. No storage desired at present but I'm open to adding a portable unit later.
I see Ecoflow is having a sale. There are so many options I'm a bit overwhelmed. They advertise an inverter and two panels kit but it only leads to an inverter-only option when you click it.
Therefore, I'm inexperienced and I wish to buy a Gordian III coin from eBay. Is it generally safe to buy from well-reviewed sellers that clearly specialize in coins?
A couple of questions about the barrel on this AFPG.
I read that the diamond mark on this barrel meant it was shot the 1960 National Matches. Is this true?
Is this a barrel a 30.06 converted with a chamber sleeve?
I have an CMH M1C that I like, but don't love, and have been thinking of turning into an M1D, but I don't know enough about them.
It's never been clear to me if the M1D's the CMP has offered are put together by them, or came to them as built, documented M1D's, if that exists. I'd like to get the latter, not a CMP put-together.
Are there M1D's that came to the CMP as fully built, original rifles? If I buy an M1D from someone, what should I look for?
...I have a couple of questions:
Someone is offering me some of this. Is it safe?
I've been toying with getting either an M1A or a BM59 and have been leaning toward the latter. What are BM59's going for, generally?
