[REQ] ($40) - (#Las Vegas, Nevada, USA), (Repay $50 on 06/29/2026), (CashApp, Chime, Apple Pay)

My bank account got frozen and my new debit card should be coming in the mail any time between Friday or Monday. I am also going to try to get to the bank before it closes to get a temporarty card in the meantime but not sure I will make it because of work.

I just need to get gas, and cat food to last me in the interim. I appreciate it if anyone can help out with this very short term loan.

How can I help this poor gal?

I just watered her last night. She gets watered whenever the soil feels dry. Maybe once every 2/3 weeks? Recently, I thought it would be nice to take her outside to get a little more sun. I have a decent about of natural light in my house, but I don’t know. It seemed like a good idea. However, I live in Las Vegas, and some of the leaves got burnt. It wasn’t even outside a full day.

From then on, she hasn’t been as lively and I feel on a steady decline. How can I save her?

Are either of these plants salvageable?

I admit, I am a plant novice but I’m trying to learn more about them because i love plants and moved into a house with a ton of natural light. So score, right? So I bought a bunch of plants… and they are not doing the best. The succulent salad used to have a ton of different succulents in one pot, and now it’s sadly hanging onto like 2.. and those ones are rapidly declining. I’ve had it since last January (2025). The other one that seems completely dead except for one (maybe hopped up?) speck of green on the root I just need to know if it’s done and needs to be thrown out. And maybe I can replant something low maintenance.

I water the succulent about once a month. And the other whenever it feels dry. I was told a long time ago to stick your finger deep in there and if it’s dry, then water it. I just watered it again this morning and left it to drain in my sink.

Help!

Why Doesn't Indeed Show All Results?

Indeed used to have hundreds of results when I would put in "marketing" or "events". Now, it will only show the first 3 pages and that's IT. Does anyone else have this problem?? It's driving me INSANE.

Soooo… you interview me through numerous rounds… and then tell me what you were looking for is actually NOT what the original job description was.

I think I experienced pretty privilege at the doctor’s office

A funky financial win happened today.

I wear orthokeratology lenses, and occasionally they develop small issues. They're slightly off-center, which is a problem I’ve had before.

I’ve seen the same older male optometrist before for this exact issue. Usually the appointment takes no More than 10 minutes. He checks my eyes confirms the lens is faulty, and says they’ll make a reclamation and send a replacement. Every previous time I’ve had to pay for the visit despite it being this short.

Today was basically the exact same appointment.
And i never wear eye make up to an optometrist. But today I was actually dressed up because I had a date immediately afterward. Makeup, laminated lashes, a lower cut dress.

During the appointment he looked at my chart and was like, “Oh, you were born in 05?” which was a lil unusual because normally he just asks for my surname to confirm it’s me. And when my bombshell friend recommended him, she said he's always super nice, talks about her med studies with her, gives her skin care tips. Whereas to me before he was never talkative. And my impressions of him were always that he's grumpy.

But this time he was generally nicer and asked about supplements and recommended me some stuff.
Then at the end he said “Well today’s visit was so short. Since we did so little, I won’t charge you this time.”

Which sounds perfectly reasonable on its own, except that every other equally short appointment for the exact same or similar issue was charged. And he's always been grumpy and slightly dissmisive.

So it randomly crossed my mind did I get a free appointment because I happened to look nice that day, or am I reading way too much into a coincidence?

I guess part of why it even made me wonder in the first place, is that i've read here about how some men can't imagine being nice to a woman they don't find attractive.

Meringue on a lovely date.
