Kid Insisted That I Treat Him Without Insurance And Without Charging Him

I was a therapist in private practice and a college aged kid called me on the telephone and requested an appointment. I asked about his insurance, and he said he didn't want t discuss that it didn't matter to him. He said he'd pay cash if he needed to and would rather not waste time discussing money The day he came in I asked for his insurance card, and he didn't have one. He then said he was insured through his mom's job but she didn't have his card yet. I explained that if he doesn't have an insurance card, he must pay cash--in advance and told him the fee. Suddenly, money was important. He then pulled out his phone and called his mom who just played dumb and asked if it would be OK if her HR faxed over a letter saying that his insurance info would be pending. I told her no, because I need a subscriber ID, group number and employer for the insurance. She kept filibustering, and I eventually hung up on her, and actually had to stand up and demand that this kid (college age) leave my office. People are so entitled and for some reason think they can get free services from therapists because they think we are soft-hearted pushovers.

Turning The Heat On In 94 Degree Weather

Anyone experienced jokes or tricks played by a ghost. My house is purportedly haunted, and since I moved in here the heat gets mysteriously turned on when it's 90+ degrees outside. I'm the only one living here, and I even checked the thermostat this morning before turning the air conditioner on. I set it at 59 degrees. I'm sitting on the couch feeling the heat coming from the radiators. and when I checked the thermostat it was at 69 degrees. Strange...

I just finished the first episode of OA and I'm not sure if it's just a slow starter or a waste of time. Can someone who has watched it, please let me know if this is just a waste of time or is it worth sticking with it??

This offbeat Australian comedy is pretty niche and not for everyone. Starring Kitty Flanagan and Aaron Chen who fits in well with the dry comedic theme, the show pokes fun at politically correct wokism in the context of a law firm setting. Reminds me a lot of what it's been like working with clients in an agency before I retired from practice. Working with people truly does make you feel like your the only sane person sometimes, and sometimes you truly question your own sanity.

I've watched the first few episodes of 'Too Much' which is created by, and directed by Lena Dunham. Ok, so this is basically 'Girls' with the main character, Jessica playing Lena Dunham's character Hannah, and Will Sharpe playing Adam Driver. What I need to know is this: does this get any better, I'm bored already with this leftover, rehashed version of 'Girls.'

MASS was unexpectedly good. I had no idea of what the film was about when I started watching it so it was a complete surprise. Without spoiling it, I can only say that it was an extremely powerful film with an extraordinary performance by Ann Dowd. Worth watching.

When my doctor first diagnosed me with OAB, he gave me a month's supply of Gemtesa which worked fine, and had no side effects. Well, my insurance only covers Mirabegron which gives me terrible headaches and makes me feel sick. I've been toughing it out but I don't think I can do this anymore. Anyone else have these side effects??
