I expected nothing and was still disappointed
As a die hard dmc fan this just further dug the grave for this fandom
Jesus Christ this isn't even devil may cry anymore it's just a generic action show filled with the most basic and cringe worthy characters saying the worst fkn dialogue than sounds like it came from a C-rated marvel movie
The only thing I'll give this show is that it looks good, the artstyle and animation are pretty cool but the credit for that goes to the talent t animators and NOT adi "the visionary" shankar
Genuine 2/10 man pls just give us dmc 6
Basic questions but what's your favourite season and why, here's mine
Kiva aside from being one of my first seasons still holds up as my favourite, I love and care for every single character, wataru especially I don't think I've ever related to any other toku character as much as I've done with wataru.
I adore the vampirysm aesthetic and the suits, overall no matter how much more I see I always come back to kiva, it's just means something to me man
So I've not rly upto date on the naughty dog drama cuz i honestly never even realised it that much
Why exactly is Neil druckman such a controversial figure?
Now I've played tlou 1 a couple times before but this was the first time i completely experienced 2.
After playing i gotta say tlou1 still holds up and i consider it among some of my favourite games 2 on the other hand I don't think so lives upto it.
I don't really know how to feel about two as the story left me with more questions than answers and just left a sad taste in my mouth ig lol, tho I will admit I enjoyed 2 for certain parts, abbys section had really fun combat. As much as I wanted to get attached to the other characters I just couldn't, I felt like they were just plot points like this guy has to die so ellie/abby is more justified to kill the other. Also I'll be honest even tho the gameplay was fun it felt pretty repetitive at times. And even tho it's been talked about to death, the ending...I didn't like like it, i get it's supposed to be sad,it's supposed to be real but it just imo felt surprisingly rushed and unearned
The character felt real and the acting was great.
But i just can't bring myself to say I love 2
So overall for me
1-9/10
2-6/10
If we ever get a part 3 I hope we get to expand more on abbys character cuz I do still think her story has potential
I played through both a couple times and I genuinely struggle to separate em aside from a graphical standpoint
So why there's so much discourse between them, i genuinely feel like they're basically the same game one just has a minecraft realism texture pack
Back then where every single frame seemed to have so much passion and effort behind it.
I seriously struggle to point out flaws in this suit it's just far too clean, it's nails in modernising ichigo while also standing out on its own far too peak
I finally got around to playing the og re4 and man what an awesome ride it's been
I started re withr the remakes so that kinda made me see this franchise as a more serious/realistic apocalypse universe like the last of us
Which is why re4og was a please surprise i Loved how cheesy his game is from all of leons dialogues like "Your right hand comes off??", the hilarious villains like i genuinely loved salazar in this he continuously cracked me up and ofc the wild set pieces like the salazar mech that chased you.
I really do like this version of leon him being more of an action movie protagonist was an interesting direction for this character, tho it may not be my favourite cuz I like the more focused and serious tone the character has in the remake, the og version still also has a charm of its own.
Ada was a whole upgrade good lord it's kinda sad they didn't rly give her a whole lot to do in the remake but man was she so good in the og.
Luis I'll admit wasn't as good as his iteration in the remake i mostly found him rather lack luster and forgettable.
Krauser I was pleasantly surprised with his voice imo was way better in the og and he overall felt really imposing and served for a great boss fight even if I do prefer the remake version of him.
Salazar was so much better here I adore the banter he has with leon and his little devilish personality was amazing.
As for negatives I have a hard time coming up with alot, I just didn't rly like the controls but that's more of a personal preference than an actual negative for the game
Now over all i do prefer the remake cuz that's just the game I liked more and enjoyed the controls and characters more but damn was the og and absolute blast and I totally understand why it was able to inspire a whole new generation of games
Re4og was an amazing 8/10 for me
