Granny Pie design/headcanon

Rose Quartz, also known as Granny Pie or Nana Pinkie by her granddaughters, was a crystal pony who was a filly during King Sombra's reign. Though she was scared and didn't understand what was going on, she still tried to smile through the fear. She taught herself to laugh at the black smoke looming over her, which she referred to as "ghosties". She got her cutie mark by spreading cheer to the crystal ponies even through the dark times. Once Sombra was defeated, she moved out of the Crystal Kingdom and met a nice grey earth pony. They got married and soon had a daughter named Cloudy Quartz

concern about macs with perpetual licenses

got a notification saying Apple will no longer support the version I'm using as it will be switching processors from Intel to Silicon. Since ToonBoom stopped supporting perpetual licenses will I be able to update it at all? Concerned about potentially wasting my money

The “background six”becoming secondary characters has made the mlp fandom forget what a background character is

Seeing a lot of people put side characters in the background pony section on that grid thing and it’s lowkey a pet peeve
A background character is not just anyone that isn’t a main character, it’s a character that only appears in the BACKGROUND to fill up crowd shots and maybe has one or two lines
Rara, Coco Pommel, Cheese Sandwich, etc are SIDE CHARACTERS not background characters

My take on Cosmo’s seed/Tailsmo child

Remember the seed Cosmo left Tails after she sacrificed herself? Well in the original Japanese version it’s actually implied it will become their child one day, so here’s my interpretation of that.
After taking care of the seed for many years, when Tails was a young adult it eventually grew a pod and out came a baby seedling, who’s eyes bore a striking resemblance to Tails’
I chose lilies because they’re a symbol of rebirth and they match Tails’ colors
