I was going to a park yesterday and I noticed this big lad on a fence. Thought it was kind of strange that it was that low. I approached and got really close and he didn't seem to be that fussed. I didn't wanna test the beak so I went back on my walk. Came back and he was trying to sleep on the fence, didn't seem right so I think he was sick but I don't see anything obvious.
I'm about eight months into learning how to draw. Starting from scratch at 36. The bird is a kakapo. I'm having a bit of trouble trying to avoid family guy head. Also beaks are HARD

I have a brother that has a rather extreme sleep condition, he sleepwalks, screams, does all sorts of insane shit. He has been to various sleep therapists a whole bunch of times, hes 32 and i think hes been to about twenty therapists and nobody can say whats wrong with him
I havnt seen him for a couple of years, but I met up with him and he drives a beat up corolla, he says hes just given up and accepts the dents and scrapes because he cant focus.
I dont think he should drive, but he isnt diagnosed with epilepsy or seizures so I dont know what good it will do.

And the conversation stops there. Most of the profiles don't have photos or what they are looking for in their bios.
Now I was raised that you should always answer a question with a question to keep the conversation going. This allows both parties to be able to keep 50/50 of the convo.

I say no, I am not doing that. In my view if someone messages you it is their job to get interesting. If someone walked up to me in a bar and I couldn't see them and they expected me to continue the conversation like this, nah my attention is going back to my drink.

So I went to my very first rave in melbourne tonight. It went from 7-2. I left at midnight due to public transport and getting home at a not...god awful hour.
I had a great time actually.
It took a bit to get into it, I got an early entry ticket for a bit more to have a drink and loosen up. I did manage to dance a bit as well, considering most of my dancing is standing to the side of a metal pit and nodding my head.
It's not something I would go to a lot, but I'm more than happy to go every six months or so. I'm gonna suffer tomorrow though, I feel my legs wanting to die on this tram.

This is my first oil painting, I'm used to watercolors, so this was an absolute bastard of a thing, im unsure how i feel about it. Though im happy I did it. I tried to do it in two layers and the head was so fucked since the base laser was a suuuper dark blue/purple, tried to do individual feathers but it was a fuckin hellscape.
I dont know WHY i chose to do a rainbow lorrikeet.
