I’m even more happy that it’s not a snark sub. I’m a firm believer that Sogard could be an absolute difference maker on the 26 man roster and him being at the AAA level is detrimental to the team. He is a dirt dogs, and finds ways to make things happen. He may not win a home run derby, but he’s smart at the plate and on the bases, and defensively. He deserves to be in Boston and I hope he stays the rest of the season. I feel the same way about Nate Eaton.

My boyfriend bought the Shelby chili mix and wants me to make it. It calls for ground beef, tomato sauce and water. That’s it. That just seems so dull. When I make beef chili, I prefer to add some peppers, onions and beans and make it hearty. Has anyone used the mix for just their own seasonings and done their own thing? I prefer to make things from scratch so this is not ideal for me.

My vet has prescribed my dog gabapentin and trazadone for calming meds. I usually give it to him before nail trims, vet appointments and tech appointments for cytopoint. He’s not aggressive, he’s just a grumbler and a very strong and muscular 108lbs. The instructions say to give 2 300MG Gabapentin and 2.5 100MG trazadone the night before an appointment and again 2 hours before the appointment. I didn’t realize the “night before” instruction until recently when a tech told me I was supposed to and then it was added to the bottle. I give him this dose 3-4 hours before his appointment and he is usually completely out of it in time for his appointment and for the next 24 hours. I feel awful doing it because he just seems so confused and tired, but he’s much easier to work with when he’s kinda lunked out. When he was younger, I feel like this dose made more sense because he was kind of wild as a puppy. He’ll be 5 in a few weeks and he’s much more very mellow now. I feel like this may be too strong. He has a nail trim at noon and I gave him 600MG gabapentin and just 200MG Trazadone around 8am. Do you think it’s okay I gave him 50MG less than the prescribed dose or should I give him the additional 1/2 pill? It’s been just about an hour and a half and the meds are kicking in for sure. He’s a boxer/Amstaf/Pitty mix.

They posted a little vid on Instagram 2 days ago with some clips from the season and her talking in the confessional(if that’s what you want to call it). It’s the most phony scripted thing ever. She is uncomfortable to watch and it genuinely seems like she’s there for the exposure and the “relationship” is strictly for personal gain and getting her name out there, not because she wants anything to do with Jr. I wonder if, after the 11th time asking her out, the show came up and that’s why she agreed to go out with him.

What does everyone love for volume? I feel like my hair looks like a hair helmet. I want to add a little life volume. I use drybar belle volume boosting mousse and have for years… I don’t think it does much.

I have fine, thin hair. I’ve not bleached it in over 6 months in an effort to try and get it healthier. This morning I noticed it looks like I had a white hair within my roots. This led to 20 minutes of coming through and plucking out a few hairs and being late to work. The hairs I plucked out were completely white. They were nothing like my fine hair, they were comparable to vellus hairs. I could not believe how thin they were. What can I do about this? What does it mean? I’m going to be 40 next month and I am having a hard term coming to terms with that and now I’ve got weird white hairs coming in.

Insurance company is telling me the need the front and back of the title showing me as the purchaser in order to insure my car. It seems like if I insure through the insurer they offer it would be more straightforward. Do I just insure through Geico and then switch to my insurer once I’ve have the car? They need the documentation by 9pm so I am concerned I won’t be able to get it.

I drive a 2014 Ford Edge that I LOVE. I live in a development where most of the neighbors chose to park in the way instead of the their garage, driveway or parking lot. I was just trying to turn in to my driveway and hit a bollard in the far side of my driveway trying to make a left turn in. My neighbors large utility van was parked in front of my house, right up to the edge of my driveway on my left. Unit across from me has an enormous Ram pickup extended cab truck parked in the road so you cannot pass on that side of the road, it’s directly across from my driveway, its rear and the utility van are both blocking the portion of the road right before my driveway. Other neighbors have brought tried to address the truck blocking the roadway, but they just ignore them. If there were an emergency, an ambulance or fire truck would not be able to fit between the two vehicles. Anyway, I was trying to take a left in to my driveway, but with limited space, the right side of the road I should be turning in from was completely blocked by the truck so I had to squeeze between the tail end of the truck and utility van from what space was left between the two vehicles on the road. While trying to squeeze through and avoid hitting either vehicle, I managed to hit a bright yellow bollard with the front passenger side of my car. I have had my edge for 10 years and know my turn radius well, but this was just a crap situation and I thought I had more room during this slow, awkward turn. I expected the whole passenger side and headlight to be smashed in, but the physical damage to my front end is minimal, the pole cemented in the ground definitely took the brunt of it. When I locked my car I noticed the horn didn’t work. The alarm would not work either. My lights all work fine. I tried pressing on the horn and nothing. Is it likely that the fuse or wiring may have come loose? Or is this likely unfixable?

I genuinely believe TS is a modern day mind control project without the use of psychoactive drugs and methods of physical torture. I cannot comprehend how any of these songs were ever popular. They sound like they were written and recorded specifically to be released on a KidsBop album.

I feel like these songs are so childish, immature and cringeworthy just like anything Taylor does to show she’s qUiRkY. Anyone else think some of her music is released purely to show people will fawn over anything she releases regardless of how bad it is?

Recently bought Elf Soft Glam Satin Foundation (shade25) because it was cheap and I can never find anything I’m happy with. I actually like to, color matches well an I like the coverage. My issue is though, I feel like it’s really thick and hard to evenly apply with a brush or my fingers. Is there a way I can add something to it to thin it out and make application easier?

I am in the midst of an unexpected predicament and I expect things will have righted themself within 2 weeks. I have no savings outside of my 401k. That is my own fault, I know this is irresponsible, but I have been fighting for my life trying to pay down student loan debt and and that mixed with rent, utilities, a recent health scare and other expenses has made saving really hard. I am not able to take out a loan and have no credit cards to fall back on. I work for a very small company and our retirement plan is through fidelity. I am considering taking a very small loan from my 401k to cover necessary expenses for the next 2 weeks when things should be back on track again. If I were to take a loan of 200-300 from my 401k, who will be notified? I don’t want the owner of the company to know I’m having to do this for fear he’ll cut me a check and refuse repayment. He’s been know to do that for employees in times of need in the past.
