Now that you’re (presumably) well-versed in my undying hatred for modern Roblox, here’s the announcement: I’m quitting my pastime as a moderator for this subreddit for three defining reasons. They will each be listed here.
If you read the linked post, you’ll know that I absolutely despise the current state of Roblox. It’s become nothing but a predator hotbed.
I am sick and tired of seeing posts from within the universe of that game. Of course I don’t want to be someone who’s in charge of a subreddit that’s almost entirely based around it.
I know that part of being a mod means that there’s gonna be a lot of work— approving and removing posts, banning rulebreakers, so on and so forth— but this sub in particular eats a lot of my time because of how active it is.
There’s time I want to spend reading, writing, playing games, or being productive… but this sub takes up a good bit of that time. Now it won’t.
My patience has been drained and exhausted from writing lore, whether it’s regularly or through canonical arcs. I was too busy trying to separate our lore from Forsaken’s, even though it’s practically the same, just with stuff from Reddit.
Thanks to this burnout, I haven’t been able to cook up more story for this subreddit in weeks.

Over the year-or-two that this subreddit has existed for, we’ve fostered an awesome community. I love you guys, and I’m definitely going to miss you, but I can’t bear to keep modding a sub based around a platform that I hate.
I might appear every once in a while to check in, or maybe to drop some art, but I will no longer be a moderator here. You’ll know me from my new flair. (it says Former Mod in a fancy font)
