Dating a woman who makes more money than you?

Do any guys on here, prefer if their partner makes less than them? As in, you will not date someone that makes significantly more than you?

I was talking about this with one of my friends (non-Desi), who said that he does not want to date a woman with a "real" career, so that she's able to take care of the kids, when they're still young. Which I thought was understandable.

But with how expensive things are nowadays, at least for myself, I would prefer if both of us worked. I wouldn't mind if she made more than me, I would probably see it as a plus. As that means we could afford to live in a HCOL area, if we wanted to.

Of course, some women only want to date someone who makes more than them. But in this scenario, I'm making the assumption that they don't care about that.

Google Raxium Senior Process Engineer Role

I saw a posting for this, and applied, but I never got an interview. I was wondering if interviews are reserved for people with Master's and PhD degrees, with 10+ YOE. Or do I just need prior experience, relevant to microLEDs? It looked very competitive to get, LinkedIn showed that over 100+ people applied.

For reference, I have a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering, and only have 7 YOE.

Dating people within your income bracket?

I had a question for people who are high earners, and are dating other people within your income bracket.

How did you meet this person? Did you move to a city, with the sole purpose of dating other high earners? Or did you just meet this person by chance, and/or already living in a MCOL/HCOL area?

Note: If this isn't the right subreddit, then mods can delete this post.

I was thinking about switching jobs, and wanted to move to a different city.

Part of the reason being that I'm 30 and single, and I think that dating isn't very good where I currently live (North Texas). There are actually a lot of Telugus where I live, but most of them are either already taken, or are from India. I'm not entirely opposed to dating girls who grew up in India, but I find that I don't have much in common with them, and I'd prefer to date an Indian American girl. There are some college-aged Indian American girls near here, but I'd prefer someone a little closer to my age. Most of my life, I've lived in cities which had very few Indians, relative to the total population.

I wanted to move to a city which had a lot of Telugu Indian Americans, since I'm Telugu and I'd prefer to date a Telugu girl. I was wondering where should I move? My sole motivation isn't just moving for dating, but it is one of the reasons. One of the other reasons being, I do want to switch jobs for better pay.

I was told that NYC, San Francisco, and Edison (NJ), would be the best options for meeting other Telugu people who grew up here, but San Francisco in general is just bad for dating. I would also be limited by where I could get a decent paying job, but I would like to at least apply for jobs and see what offers I get in those cities.
