Toxic masculinity

When men get offended at the word toxic masculinity the response always is well toxic masculinity doesn't mean all masculinity is toxic it means that certain masculine trait in extremes are toxic or toxic is an adjective but I have always found that to be a stupid argument like if I made a theory called toxic blackness and then you as a black person got offended and I responded I don't mean that black are toxic and instead some behaviors in black culture are toxic and that toxic is an adjective you would still rightfully call me a racist or tell to change the name because because its too inflammatory or its not accurate to the actual concept my question is like why call it toxic masculinity which is easily misunderstood and inflammatory instead of something toxic masculine gender roles or harmful masculine gender roles

Disgusting misogyn on reddit

Here are some comments I saw in this comment section I remember accidentally looking at some girl when I was shopping once, just glancing around and happened to look at her at the exact moment she looked at me.

She yelled "Take a picture, it'll last longer." The ego on some people is insane. Had a similar experience. Been riding my motorcycle in a hot summer and decided to stop for an icecream. I'm sitting on the bench next to my parked bike and hear loud woman noises from outside of my field of view. I turn my head simply to see what is going on. A group of late teens/early 20 girls is approaching, one of them screams at me "What the fuck are you looking at, pigface?". Like, can't a man just enjoy his fucking icecream without being painted as some pervy weirdo? How dare you be attracted to a woman who was considered middle aged a thousand years ago? Why are they calling her a teenager she looks 26 back in the Middle ages a woman her age would have beared a multiple children already. To Gen-Z all women under 35 are considered helpless children when it comes to older men showing interest.

Gender essentialism

If men are naturally supposed to be strong and not show emotions then why would parents need to tell their boys to not cry if boys were naturally emotionally distant then you wouldn't need to tell them not to cry gender roles are stupid if they were natural then they wouldn't need to be enforced
