10 workplaces since 2011 but only have access to 3 pension schemes - how to find them all?

Sorry if this is not the right subreddit to be asking this but I’m at a loss.

I know for sure I have/had policies through Scottish Widows and Aviva in the past, and my current is through ReAssure. But i have no paperwork/emails to show who the other policies are from previous employment…. I stumbled across it today speaking to a colleague and went into a state of panic as I probably have 5+ policies just sat there collecting dust, if they haven’t been closed!

Is there any way to find out where all of my pension pots are so that I can try to combine them all into my current ReAssure one?

I’ve seen a site called PensionBee but I don’t know how successful it would be. I’ve always looked at pensionadviceuk.

What spec are you having fun on in M+ recently?

I’ve been Unholy DK since launch and I’m giga bored despite it being disgustingly strong. I’m really looking to play something else for spamming 10-12s and just having a blast…

Actually been looking at Feral, Elemental or Devourer (I know this one is meta), but I’m curious what builds y’all are playing and having fun with?! Not sure how long is left on the season so I also wonder if I’m maybe doing this too late 👀

UPDATE: I think my decision is between Feral and Survival!

Almost happy with the garden - what should I plant against the new fence to give it some life?

First photo is the monstrosity we moved into a year ago, rest of the pictures are the progress so far.

Removed a few trees as there were 5 in a very small garden, it was mental. Someone obviously planted them years ago with the “I won’t be here when they’re huge” thought process😂

The shed will be going eventually and that corner will be a bbq area/slabbed patio.

Looking for ideas on what to grow either side of the mature rose to give the fence boundary some life… any recommendations? It’s a south facing garden.

Double or single rail by the grass edge/border?

Im leaning towards cutting the top rail going between the patio/lawn so that it sits flush with the flower bed border, that area acts as a higher wall because of the soil, and then the patio/lawn will be a single high that’ll finish roughly the height of the lawn…

Is it just me or does the double rail look a bit weird being so high against the grass? That why I’m wanting to bring it down to a single rail.

The lawn/patio edge is 4 metres, and then angles off for another 2 metres at about a 140’ angle to the fence.

Newb looking for a smooth Martial Artist build for lvl 1 -> endgame - too many options! D:

I've played Spirit Walker Monkey Companion this league so far and whilst it's insanely OP, I'm very bored of being a walker simulator now..

I'd love to try Martial Artist, my issue is there's so many builds to choose from, I've no idea which I should try first.. RonArray has loads, Jungroan has loads, Moxsy on youtube has one, etc...

I'd like as smooth a gameplay as possible, as close to 1 button clear as possible, and for bosses, aslong as it's not super clunky, I'm fine with having to hit 2-4 buttons to get damage out if need be.

Lowish budget helps too to get started as my investment is all in my first build, I'm down to 40divs.

Aspiring Dev who took several months away from studying… Is it still as bad as when I left?

Bit of a stupid title, I can see Reddit is more negativity than positivity, still, but I’m curious to hear your opinions.

Originally I tried to branch into Web Dev in 2022-2024 being entirely self taught without a degree, built the GitHub portfolio, got the CV, the projects, and spent a year sending out applications. The rest is as you see often on Reddit, hundreds of applications, no interviews.

My current job is Sales Admin, and I use Power BI and Excel on a daily basis with the occasional dipping my toes into mySQL.

At 35 years old I’m sitting on a fence where one side is to try and grind back into the Developer space, and the other side is to try and progress in the Analytics space.

Internal profession in my current company isn’t possible, and to be honest the sooner I can leave, the better, the technical aptitude here is that of a brick, and it’s a growing personal concern that basic IT tasks are being ChatGPT’d in front of me…

I need to replace a few rusted fence post spikes..

Have never used these before but they seem decent. The current ones are ~20 years old according to our elderly neighbour. They’re still solid spikes and don’t budge a mm however they’re severely rusted, so I figured since I’m replacing my entire fence, I should probably put fresh ones in.

First I have to remove 4 fence posts (for some reason they’re 5tt tall and the fence was 6ft tall)

My gut feeling says when I remove the spike, there’s gonna be a larger hole than the spike had… this seems like it’s going to make the new spike wobble a fair bit.. if anyone has done this before, how did you fix the new spike into place so it was secure and snug?

How to lay first fence post which goes up against house wall?

UK, England.

Novice fence fitter here! I’ve got the rest of the fence theoretically nailed down except this first post and the next 4FT of fence between it and the first proper post that’s got metal spikes keeping it in place already.

If bolting the post against the house isnt an option (it's on the boundary which the neighbour agrees, but I still feel like the wall is the end of their kitchen, and not ours), what would my options be? If I can get a metal spike in i'd do that, but if my onl option is to perhaps postcrete it, would a shallow hole be enough?

For context, my conservatory is 30cm from the fence and is about 8ft long, the first post (house wall) to the 2nd post is about 5ft, so it's very much wind protected.

What is the correct position for feather edge boards on an adjoining fence between our house and neighbour?

If we take the bad side of the fence as it’ll match the rest of our fencing in the garden (also just more secure), I’m unsure whether the correct way is for the thick side of the boards to be facing the house, or facing the back fence 🥲

I see people doing both ways online so I’m not sure which way will visually look the best/functionally be the best from the bad side P.O.V.

Old rotten 6ft x 40ft fence has metal post shoes solidly concreted in (3x3), how should I go about building this new fence?

Each post already has a 3x3 metal post shoe concreted in (photo attached). I’ve read that 3x3 posts can be a bit light for a 6ft featheredge fence, but the shoes are extremely solid with no movement, so replacing them doesn’t seem practical.

The fence will be 7 posts in total with one end post being a T-post, supporting both our rear fence and the adjoining fence. I'd add we're in a fairly sheltered area from the wind as we're an end of terrace, but the end of our property is an 8ft high solid hedge.

If we continue using the existing 3x3 post shoes, what size horizontal rails would you recommend, and should we use 3 rails for stability? Would I put these rails between the posts and nail/screw them into place at a V angle?

Also, would a gravel board still be worthwhile in this setup, or do I not need one because of the post shoes?

Going with an all-wood approach due to budget..

Updating 2 way 2 gang light switch with 1980s wiring…?

Asked in DIYUK and got some helpful responses but they were slightly different to what my brother said (1st year sparky).. hoping you lovely bunch can help us clear this one up!

Reading the back of the switch pack, it says red to COM, yellow/black to 2, and blue to 1..

My brother said just copy them the way the old one sits, and the reasonse I got from the other subreddit was on the right go yellow to com, blue+black to 2, both reds to 1, but the otherwise go yellow to com, red to 2, blue to 1..

I should add that facing the switch, the left (right when looking at the back) controls the upstairs landing light, which can also be turned off with the upstairs switch… and the right (left on the back), controls the downstairs living room light, which can also be turned on/off in the kitchen…

Help?! 🤣

Changing banks for the switch promotions with main account, or using secondary?

I've been looking for a few weeks now at changing my Halifax account to Natwest to take up the £200 offer they provide, but have done some reading since and it looks like most people will create a secondary bank and will use that to switch for the offers?

My question is, how exactly do you do this, don't most of them want X deposited and X direct debits to claim the switch offer?

Appreciate if anyone could enlighten me here! I have a credit card and a loan with halifax, so im not sure if that is going to hinder me making the switch to natwest or not (doesn't seem like it), but if a secondary bank is the easier option, I'd love to know more!

If this is possible with a second account, which banks would qualify? I assume someone moves their secondary halfiax to a natwest, claims the offer, which closes their halifax, then they'd do it again with their natwest to santander, claim the offer, and the switch closes their natwest...?

The wife has started complaining about the noise my keyboard and mouse make (Logitech G213 keyboard and Logitech G305 wireless mouse).

I didn't believe her until I asked her to go sit on the setup and type/click away whilst I'm next door, and yeesh... yeah it's loud and irritating..

I'm looking for a mouse and keyboard that's as quiet as possible but can be used for gaming, so extensive clicking/typing.. preferably wireless, but it's not a deal breaker.

I should add that I'm in the UK!
