The past few weeks I’ve been painting up these minis for the game Greathelm (really fun small skirmish game played on a 12x8 inch board. Each side needs 6 models so I chose 6 NFL teams per side (AFC vs. NFC).
The models are 3D prints made my Skullforge studios.
I realize that I missed some amazing (and not so amazing teams) and might paint up more in the future. So who do you think I missed?
Just wanted to share couple of Mumakil I have worked on the past year or so. I assembled the Howdah separately to paint but that also made putting together at the end much more difficult. Now to paint the 26 Harad crew.

I play Warhammer Ancient Battles in the 90s and early 2000s. Pulled them out of storage and rebased them on round bases for some skirmish games. I am going to try Saga and Pillage (and maybe some others). Thought I would share some photos. Mostly wargames foundry models. I had about 100 more but sold them off years ago. Glad I held on to these.

I recently picked up an older starter set of Legion mostly because the minis looked fantastic and my local store had it on clearance. The last time I played a Star Wars minis game was 25+ years ago (West End games?? Maybe) but looking to pick up the newest rules and start playing.
I also play a number of other sci-fi games (Battletech, Blkout, 5 Parsecs) and recently made this set of terrain for these games (and soon Legion).
I made it from packing foam, cereal boxes, bits and 3d printed Greebles/parts. Had fun building it. Hope you enjoy seeing it.

While I’ve not yet painted up any Infinity minis yet, I decided to make a few foam terrain from my Bambu A1 packing material I’ve been saving. My plan is to make some more terrain for Infinity and can be used for other games I play (Battletech, Blkout, Starwars Legion, etc.)
I used a mix of cereal box cardboard, extra foam, random parts and some 3d printed greebles.

Shared another foam building recently and decided to make a few more along with a 3x2 mat to go with it. I play Battletech, 5 Parsecs from Home, Blkout and a few other sci fi games that I plan on using this with.
My process was to hot glue cereal box cardboard, random parts I’ve collected and some 3d printed greebles directly on the foam. I airbrushed the buildings different shades of gray and sponge painted the green rim. Overall a fun project.

While I have no affiliation to Corvus Terrain, I wanted to share a board that my buddy purchased and printed (and I painted them up). The best part is how easy it is to create multiple scenes. Here’s a few photos with different set ups.

Here’s some photos of terrain, minis, dice and counters I’ve printed and painted. I believe most of it was found on Myminifactory (both paid and free).
I love using Dirty Down rust on terrain and really applied a lot of it on these pieces. The stuff is a blast to use, one you figure out how it reacts with water.

I paint and play a number of war games but lately have been enjoying smaller skirmish games, co-op and a couple solo games. I’m late to the party with this one but really enjoyed painting up the board and minis. Im also just a huge Doom fan and this game really scratches that itch.
The whole set was printed (both FDM and Resin) and it’s completely magnetized. It’s also worth mentioning it’s produced by Black Site Studios and created by Malev (who’s currently finishing up Greathelm).

While I typically steer clear of beaded foam like this, I love finding little pieces of packing material that look like a sci-fi building. This time I glued some card, wire and some extra greebles to the foam and now have a little sci-fi building. It feels done but wondering if I should grime it up a bit.

Been a while since I painted a MESBG model since I’ve been painting up some 1490 Doom minis lately (such a fantastic game). Last night I painted up this little fella. My head cannon has Ed Harris staring as Malbeth with that “long hair yet bald” look he had in a movie 😂.

Had some knights that I’ve wanted to paint up for a while and Greathelm was the push I needed. Man, this game is good already and looking forward to the main release to drop.
I recently picked up the Baratheon starter set from a Song of Ice and Fire, which has some great looking knights and enough to field 12 more

Finished up another one. I’m really enjoying this! I used a red ink to really get a vibrant contrast with the rust and am happy how it turned out.
