Goog phone for someone who hates AI?

I've been holding onto my pixel 6a since I got it but it's on its last leg. I plan to retire it and use it as an mp3 phone so I can ditch Spotify. I'm not sure what to replace it with though. I care about having a decent camera and as little AI integration as possible. Needs to be budget, idc if it's a few generations behind at all. I like to get my money's worth out of a phone, so usually I'll replace them every 6 years or so. So having a long lifespan is pretty important too. Any ideas?

Tips on transplanting?

I found this beauty on an embankment off a canal. Technically it's on city property. I've tried to get permission from the public works department to take the plant but they haven't responded, but a few people in other departments have told me I should just "go for it" so... I'm going for it lol. They'll mow the plant down anyways pretty soon. Any tips on how to give it the best chance at survival? I know I need to mind the taproot and keep it wet.

Found some beautiful common milkweed in an embankment in my town.

I know it gets mowed by the city a few times a year, so it can't really meet it's potential. Also any caterpillars that land on it probably die in the process of mowing. I'm considering just taking it but I'm not sure of the legality or ecological impacts.

Fit check

First walk with my grazer muzzled. Introduced it with treats. She keeps pawing at it, I've been gently tugging her leash when she does this and I give her a firm "no!" Any tips?

Why is younger gen Z so... idk strange, sometimes??

I can be awkward myself so I'm not particularly judgemental but man sometimes the interactions I have with them are so weird. I went to a fast food place, and they forgot an order of fries. No biggie. I went inside and politely said "hi we ordered two fries but only got one". The kid says nothing but grabs my fries. Which, I mean I'm glad they weren't rude but whenever I worked in customer service I'd give them a customary "oh sorry" or something. Also, I feel like they never return basic pleasantries. You both get in each other's way? I'll say excuse me or sorry. They say nothing. You need to ask them a question? They pretend not to hear you. One time I complimented a younger girls outfit and she said "okay." Not thank you. Okay. I'm 28, so I'm not exactly that much older than them. So the difference in socially acceptable behavior being so vast is kinda shocking to me sometimes.

Growth right next to where my glasses rub. Should I be worried?

I'm prone to skin tags so I always just assumed this was one of those. The black dot at the top has been concerning me however. I'm also very fair skinned and have gotten a looooot of sunburns in the past few years. None of my other skin tags really look like this one, but I haven't been getting skin tags for very long so idk.

Anyone else being asked to download some app?

I was trying to track an order I placed but it seems like the only way I can do that is by downloading the Shop app??? I'm obviously not doing that but do I just not get to track my package now??

Air snapping but seemingly calm?

Sometimes my girl will get my attention when she thinks I have something she wants by snapping at the air. It's incredibly cute actually but I worry that It's something I should discourage?

Jalapeno cream cheese rollers please I miss you

My local 711 killed them. Please tell me they'll come back. I miss them on a visceral level. My drunk nights are not complete without them.

Turning meltdowns into shutdowns??

TW: brief mention of self harm

Hello fellow evil peers. When I'm overloaded I have absolutely horrendous meltdowns. Like very bad. Usually I'm triggered by feeling misunderstood (NTs are dumb and always doing this so it happens at least once every few months) I used to manage them by self harming but I've been clean from that for about 6 years give or take a few relapses. I have no interest in going back to that coping mechanism, is my point. My problem is without that way to cope, I'm a little too evil. I yell and frankly I think I scare the people around me. I don't want to scare anyone.

So, I'm wondering if anyone has had any luck with turning their meltdowns into shutdowns? I'm aware both equally suck for the person having them. I just literally cannot do this anymore, it is genuinely low-key ruining my life lol.

Difficult day as a husky parent

Today my girl caught a juvenile rabbit in our yard. I'm no stranger to situations like this. My previous dog was a pit mix and had caught her fair share of prey animals. I'm used to having to finish them myself after getting her to drop them

Apparently my new girl is not so easily persuaded. She absolutely refused to drop it. Chased her all over the yard with this still living creature in her mouth before she stops and just swallows it whole. Like a snake. I had no idea how to stop her.

Worst of all, it's STILL BEATING heart was the only thing left. It just fell out while it was being swallowed I guess. She came back and ate that part too. I'm actually pretty upset just cause I've never seen a mauling like that in person. Still love her and can't blame her for being a dog but.... Bruh.
