I'm visiting from Los Angeles and would like to meet people and make friends. I would like to maybe attend a language exchange event if there's any close to downtown Aguascalientes since I need to practice my Spanish.

P.S. Someone in another post that I made mentioned that there was a language exchange on Wednesdays and Thursdays and said to dm them but they never responded back with what time or what place it happens at.

I dont have friends much less a girlfriend. I have been alone for multiple years at this point constantly dreaming of being loved, being genuinely cared for, I'd like to find a partner that I could tell anything to and they'll never judge me or be mean. I'm a bit of a sensitive shy person and tend to avoid social situations but I'm making a genuine effort lately trying to get out of my comfort zone aka my room and go out every day now. I hope I find someone either through here or in person. I doubt anyone is gonna read this or even message me back but just casting a line and hopefully I get someone.

for the past couple of weeks I finally decided to go out walking 10k steps every day, started going to the beach and local parks, I see so many people walk past me but I feel so shy trying to talk to anyone, I just want one to come up to me and ask me out but thats rare, it's happened before in school and at a coffee shop once, people have found me attractive first and came up to me maybe it can happen again if I lose more weight I feel so gross being fat. Wish there was someplace I could just go where everyone wants to look for a date and ask girls out.

I'm a retired Army veteran from Los Angeles, my lease is ending in October tho so I might move somewhere else I'm thinking of Mexico for a little bit then maybe Japan. I am financially stable and free to do whatever I want wherever I want, I wouldn't mind getting a job if it's to support the right person if you're also an NEET and want to stay at home then that's fine.

I'm very lonely despite a couple of online friends that occasionally might talk to me I don't really have anyone in my life that I can call my friend, I thought that going out every day might fix this, I've been walking 10 thousand steps for two weeks so far to lose weight and try and be more social. I've lost 7 pounds so far but I've yet to make any friends and don't know where to look.
