Ever since upgrading to an i5-14600K, I've noticed that the CPU cooler (Gamdias Boreas M2-51D) that came with it can be a bit noisy even when temps are below 80. What would be a better replacement cooler that could keep the new CPU cool without making too much fan noise?

As of a few days ago I've noticed that CPU Temps have been trending higher overall and made my fan spin on high and generally make more noise. Before; temps would fluctuate depending on the area but now it tends to stay in the 80's and 90's even on lower graphics settings.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I know it's stupid but I've bought the first Dark Souls three times in total at this point and if it came out of a nuero-implant version or whatever I've probably buy it a fourth time

Well technically it blows (air) but the temps reach as high as 67c just from idling and watching youtube videos. I got Boreas M2 cpu cooler for free when I upgrading my CPU and the temps/noise have only gotten worse since then despite the fact that the new fan is a vertical heatsink cooler with a much larger heatsink then the previous one I have (NH-L9x65). So is the cooler just trash?

The fan had a connector that seemed to fit the "addressable gen 2 headers" pins on the mobo so I tried fitting it on those pins but it did not work. Could my motherboard simply not have a compatible connection?
