So I’ve been dipping my toes into the realm of stoner and psychedelic doom stuff for a while, mainly having enjoyed most of Acid Kings and Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats discography for quite a while.

Thanks to this sub, Electric Wizard and specifically Dopethrone have been on my to do list for a bit. Really enjoyed that album, and decided to backtrack and give their sophomore album Come my Fanatics…. A shot… and dear god did this one do a number on me. While I understand why Dopethrone is such a quintessential album within the genre, and considered one of the heaviest albums of all time, Come my Fanatics…. seems even heavier to me personally. It’s almost like the music is literally crushing you throughout the album. I’m surprised that as a whole it seems like the general consensus is that Dopethrone takes the cake in terms of heaviness and Electric Wizards strongest album.

Any Come my Fanatics…. “preferrers“ out there? Anything you’d recommend that may come close in terms of heaviness?

So I’ve been out of the Simpsons game for years but as I’m someone who needs some background noise while doing general tasks around the house etc I decided to throw them back on and happily stumbled upon the Rick & Morty couch gag.

Tbh, funniest thing the show probably has done in the last decade or so…

3 piece female Black Metal band from Norway. I’ve recently gotten a recommendation to give them a listen. Haven’t gotten a chance to check them out just yet, and am curious what you guys think.

By “new“ I mean artists/bands that have released their first EP/Album within the last year or two.

Mine has definitely been a BDM band called Killing Capacity from San Diego. They released their first EP Years in Torment last November and I’ve been listening to it up and down since about February when I first stumbled upon it. Big rec for anyone into groovier stuff.

With our two protagonist’s romance being such a core element of the story, it kind of made me wonder about one of the more popular side activities within GTA games.

While i can’t imagine R* ever taking prostitutes out of their game completely, not being able to “indulge in their services“ would be pretty huge. It’d be pretty interesting to see what kind of effect (if any) it would have on our protagonist’s relationship, or it’d just go completely uncommented… Like with Michael in GTA V (who was married). Difference is in GTA V, Michael and Amanda’s relationship was in dire straits throughout the story anyhow (Amanda cheating on him repeatedly), not putting too much of a moral strain on Michael going out and having fun of his own.

In GTA VI, one of the characters not staying faithful to the other, and the other finding out, would be pretty detrimental in terms of their relationship.
