I work for a local charity, and manage a small team of workers and volunteers. One of them is a quiet, autistic young man, who in the kindest way possible, smells really bad. I don’t think he changes his clothes or washes. Please correct me if I’m wrong, but I suspect this may be related to his autistic traits.

We work in an large but enclosed workshop area, with little ventilation. The area is often visited by customers/users of our charity operation.

It has got to the point where I, and other members struggle to concentrate on our work because of the odour, and is awkward for customers who may find it shocking upon entering our workplace. And of course, it’s unfortunately unpleasant.

I would like to know if this is something that I ought to try and resolve, however I do not want to hurt the person concerned. Being formally told you smell is not something the best of us would deal with well.

Anyway, with the best will, please help, if possible :)

Hoping I’m not going mad. Received our new inflator head in the shop yesterday, and neither presta or schrader sides will inflate; instead the air pisses out through the shuttle valve and out the opposing side of the head.

I went through the usual troubleshooting - inspected to shuttle valve, o-rings, no debris, correct assembly, cleaned and applied some fresh silicone grease. The presta grip is sensibly adjusted, and I’m confident I’m using it correctly.

I’ve concluded that the shuttle valve o-rings are an incorrect fit (the valve just drops into the body with zero interference), and delivery air takes the path of least resistance and simply blows out of the opposing side to which you’re trying to pressurise!

Before I contact the supplier sounding like a moron, can anyone offer any other explanations? I’m thinking of buying an o-ring kit and experimenting with tighter fit seals…

I think Jett will be lucky to be top 5 given the unfortunate state of him.

It’s going to be interesting to see what Deegan does, and also Prado. Sexton is a hit or miss. Other than that, who are his biggest rivals?

Pourover focussed. I’m sick of the funk. I want clean, light body, floral would be nice. Coffee that tastes like ‘good coffee’. UK, obviously!
