Does anyone else use Petrus?

Ok i know I have CFOP on my flair but I use Petrus as well. I find it really fun despite being trash at it. I wonder if there are people who think like me. Also it's kinda overhated honestly.

I love when people accidentally post on the wrong subreddit

I improved my method

link to first post: here

Step 1. Solve the belt. (I will use BRGO colors with yellow on top) Step 2. Solve the OLL parity on the top layers using only U and R2 moves. Using only those moves will reduce the belt repair in the end to a single PLL parity. 3. Solve OLL on both sides. 4. Using U and R2 moves, make all the yellow corners move to the side with the yellow center. 5. Solve CMLL on both layers using J and Y perms. 6. Using the "Deck" algorithm (M' U2 M) insert 3 of the white edges into their place on the bottom. 7. Solve the last layer fully like in Roux method. 8. Fix the last parity using the algorithm (R2 U2 R2 U2 R2)

I created my own method

Link to an example solve: https://alg.cubing.net/?setup=D-\_L2\_D\_B2\_R2\_D-\_B2\_D-\_U\_B2\_R-\_D2\_B-\_F\_D\_L\_D2\_R-\_B-\_R&alg=R-\_F-\_L2\_FU\_L\_F-\_L-\_F\_D-\_F2\_f\_RUR-U-\_RUR-U-\_f-\_x2\_R\_U\_R-\_U-\_R-\_F\_R\_F-\_\_U-\_R2\_U-\_L2\_U-\_R\_U\_R-\_F-\_R\_U\_R-\_U-\_R-\_F\_R2\_U-\_R-\_U\_M-\_U2\_M\_R2\_U2\_R2\_U2\_R2\_U2\_F2\_U\_L\_R-\_F2\_R\_L-\_U\_F2\_U\_x2\_M2\_U-\_M2\_U2\_\_M2\_U-\_M2\_U-\_x\_y\_\_x-\_U2\_M-\_U2\_M&view=playback"\]R' F' L2 FU L F' L' F D' F2 f RUR'U' RUR'U' f' x2 R U R' U' R' F R F' U' R2 U' L2 U' R U R' F' R U R' U' R' F R2 U' R' U M' U2 M R2 U2 R2 U2 R2 U2 F2 U L R' F2 R L' U F2 U x2 M2 U' M2 U2 M2 U' M2 U' x y x' U2 M' U2 M

scramble: D' L2 D B2 R2 D' B2 D' U B2 R' D2 B' F D L D2 R' B' R

solve: R' F' L2 FU L F' L' F D' F2 f RUR'U' RUR'U' f' x2 R U R' U' R' F R F' U' R2 U' L2 U' R U R' F' R U R' U' R' F R2 U' R' U M' U2 M R2 U2 R2 U2 R2 U2 F2 U L R' F2 R L' U F2 U x2 M2 U' M2 U2 M2 U' M2 U' x y x' U2 M' U2 M

Here are the steps:

  1. Solve the middle layer like in the belt method (which will be broken later but that's fine)

  2. Solve OLL parities on both layers if needed by doing F2, L2, R2, B2.

  3. Solve top and bottom faces using OLL so the white and yellow faces are looking in the same direction as the centers.

  4. Using the same moves as in step 2, make all the corners of the top layer match the top center colour. Doing this will automatically do the same thing on the bottom layer.

  5. finish the full CMLL on both the top and bottom layer using Y perm and J perm.

  6. Using U and D moves, and the "Deck" (I named it that) algorithm (M' U2 M) make it so that all the edges of the top layer match their center colour. Like in step 4, doing this on the top face will automatically do it on the bottom face.

  7. Using the "Mumrik" (I named it that) algorithm (R U R' U' L' U' L U2 R U' R' U' L' U L), permutate the remaining edges on both and bottom layer. Sometimes you will need more than 2 "Mumrik" algorithms.

  8. Rotate the whole cube and using M and U2 moves, repair the middle layer ("The belt") Congrats, your cube is solved.

This is not a very move effecient method, and it's still in development. Although it's (70-80 moves) still more move effecient than most beginner methods like Layer By Layer (100-110 moves).

If you have suggestions on how to improve it, I would be very happy to listen.

Sorry if the grammar is poor, English is not my first language.

To all my fellow teens going through tough times

Hello, I'm Story. I just wanted to say, if you are struggling with something, or just feeling sad in general, don't be afraid to tell someone. Trying to conceal sadness only makes it worse. If you want to talk about something, you can DM me!

В правительстве Германии отказались отвечать на вопрос о том, кто освободил Европу от нацизма:

— Кто же эти освободители?
— Я думаю, это исторически хорошо задокументировано.
— Назовите вы.

People calling others "fascist" for celebrating 9th May are insane

Like just wtf. Someone celebrating the defeat of nazis is instantly nazi. Great logic, westernoids.
