Had my Amazon account for many years and it has just been suspended

The only thing I did differently was add a new credit card to my account(in my name, my card of course) and use that to buy an HDMI cable.

Got an email to say my order has been cancelled, my account suspended and they have said there is nothing I can do.

So what can I do? This is insane.

Cyromancers - A New Faction - Regret buying this damn thing

This mod has been bugged ever since the Free Lane update, with your companion, in my case currently VASCO, missing all of its textures.

It's been months since Free Lanes came out; fix this damn mod already, it cost us enough!

I get it now

I have a semi-decent gaming laptop with a 5060 GPU. However, in addition to not being able to run the most demanding games, it will always get pretty hot and noisy no matter what game I play.

My laptop didn't even make a sound while I played Avatar, Ultra Settings, and DLSS Quality after loading Geforce now, Ultimate Tier.

I think that's crazy, but what really surprised me was how natural the game felt. The controls were responsive and fluid, and I felt as though I was playing the game locally on my gaming laptop while it remained quiet and cool. There was also no lag or heaviness, which are things I am very susceptible to.

I now understand cloud gaming, as the topic implies, and I'm all for it. Whatever Nvidia has done or is doing, they seem to have found the formula.

My biggest fear isn’t the death of the Vision Pro. It's the death of total immersion

We all know where the tech roadmap is eventually heading. We’re almost certainly going to end up with lightweight AR glasses that handle spatial computing on the go. That's fine and I welcome it.

But my absolute favorite feature of the Vision Pro right now is the ability to completely dial out the real world and drop into an immersive environment to focus or just wind down.

It drives me crazy when tech YouTubers constantly complain about how "isolating" the headset is. Like, chill out. Stop trying to force yourself into people’s lives 24/7. Some of us actually want a bit of peace, quiet, and literal distance from the world.

I just worry that as the industry pivots away from these enclosed headsets and pushes towards the transparent glasses, we’re going to lose that sense of escape.

Approved by the boss, it’s staying!

Bought an M5 last week to try and I absolutely love it. Knew it was going to be a challenge to convince the Mrs into letting me keep it though. Well, great news! My wife has officially given me the green light.

For anyone out there who isn’t married, trust me - this is a massive win lol.

Proud to say I am now an 'official' Vision Pro owner! 🥳🥳

Forgive me, but you can shove your ‘failed to lock mouse cursor’ up your arse!

I apologise - I recognise the title may seem provocative and confrontational, but I am writing to express frustration rather than seek upvotes. Since buying my Apple Vision Pro, I have tried to enjoy this app. When I connect a mouse and attempt to play a game with a controller, an unavoidable error message appears that cannot be dismissed and does not disappear. Your on-screen instruction to ‘Alt Tab’ fails on the Apple Vision Pro.

I am writing this extremely fed up that I cannot enjoy this app and my games without first having to disconnect my mouse from my AVP workstation.

Please let us disable this message!

Is Frame Gen currently not working?

I use this all the time on so many games on my Vision Pro (remote play PS5 only) and I have never once seen Frame Gen kick in.

So I’m just wondering if it’s unavailable?

Difficult to go back to AVP after trying the PSVR2

I'm honestly quite gutted I even tried it to be honest. I’ve been absolutely head-over-heels for the Vision Pro since I got it. The micro-OLED clarity is unmatched, there's effectively zero screen door effect, and the overall premium feel of the interface made me feel like I was holding the literal future. But then I tried a PSVR2.

The second I put it on, the magic of the Vision Pro was completely shattered. It’s the Field of View.

The AVP has incredible pixel density, but the horizontal and vertical boundaries are so tightly cropped. I didn't realize how bad the "scuba-goggle effect" was until I experienced the PSVR2’s wide 110-degree wrap-around view. Switching to the PSVR2 completely unlocked my peripheral vision. The view suddenly felt massive, and yes, the PSVR2 has visible Mura grain in dark scenes, and the fresnel lenses don't have that edge-to-edge optical perfection that Apple's pancake lenses have, but all of that feels like minor when compared to the difference in FOV.

Now when I put the AVP back on, those black borders are all I can focus on. It feels so artificially boxed in. I'm genuinely annoyed because I wanted the Vision Pro to be my definitive, do-everything headset, it certainly cost that kind of money, but my brain now knows what it's missing and I can't unsee it.

Has anyone else hit this exact wall? I have the 21W FOV and, I have tried without the light seal, but it can't just compete with the PSVR2 FOV, it's massive.

Footballs constantly in our yard

My neighbor’s kid constantly kicks his footballs over into our garden. At first, they’d knock and ask for them back, and we always handed them over. But it started happening so often that they just stopped bothering to ask.

We used to just toss them back over the fence, but it got ridiculous. Eventually, we decided to just hold onto them until they actually came to ask, so we could have a polite word about being careful. Of course, they never came. A few weeks back, I finally went over with a pile of five balls and politely asked the parent if they could tell their kid to mind the fence. Got a casual "Yeah, no worries."

Cut to today: there are another five balls sitting in our garden, including one that literally just landed. I'm completely done throwing them back. If they want them, they can come knock and ask for them. Their balls, their problem.

Am I in the wrong?

Should I have just gotten the Steam Deck?

So the steam decks were sold out at the time. I was happy to wait, but I saw a Legion Go S Brand new, with a Z1E processor, 32GB of ram and a 1TB SSD; it also came with SteamOS at just $40 more.

I thought it was a bargain, as I didn't know when the sale would end, so I decided to buy it. However since picking it up, a couple of people have told me that for my needs I should have just waited and got the Steam Deck.

What are my needs? Well, I don't plan on playing modern AAA games on the handheld; I save that for console/pc, but I do like to play Indie plus older games from 2015 and below on the console, games such as Borderlands 2, Hades, Skyrim things like that. Well, apparently if I had bought the Steam Deck, and I do understand this to be true, I could have gotten the same performance at much better battery life, and the Steam Deck is much lighter and more comfortable overall. I think they are right; I didn't worry too much, as I don't take my handheld out with me and tend to just play at home.

But now I just can't stop thinking about it, should I have just gotten the Steam Deck and saved myself $40? I googled this before coming here, and of course those in the Steam Deck subreddit have a very biased view, and those in the Legion subreddit have a very biased view, so I thought i'd meet in the middle and get some thoughts from here.

Thank you guys

Great, this game has ruined other ARPGS for me.

Attack & Move

How am I suppose to go back to other APRGS where I have to stand still first before I can attack? I can't.

PoE 2, has ruined other ARPGS for me. Thank god this game is good, else i'd have to find another genre!

This is just unacceptable, it should not be this difficult to add a product to a new WiFi!

So for whatever reason, some time ago my system disappeared off the Sonos app. I was really annoyed but didn't act own it, because it was still working and that was that, so I figured I'd get to it another time.

That another time has now come around, as I have just upgraded my internet package, so I thought let's sort this out and add my system to the new app.

How much of a fool I was for thinking it would be so simple.

Sonos couldn't find any of my products, so I started simple, I'll reset my Arc to factory defaults, and re-add it. App picked up the Arc, connected to it, and then it got stuck on 'connecting to wifi' for minutes until it failed and threw up a message saying 'it's been added but you may need to unplug and plug back in your Arc for it to appear', that didn't work. I tried to rejoin system, no joy.

I decided to try again, another factory reset and this time it did connect to my WiFi, even completed a firmware update, and then it got stuck on 'Linking arc to account' for minutes, and then failed. System could not be found - so now I am stuck in this limbo of not knowing what to do.

It should not be THIS HARD, I didn't blame Sonos at first because I thought maybe there was a problem with my router, but I haven't had any trouble with it at all since it was installed, and Sonos connecting to my WiFi on the second attempted proved it's fine. So when it got stuck and failed on linking to account is when I knew this is something to do with Sonos and, I haven't tried contacting their support yet, as I first wanted to come here, vent, and hope perhaps one of you guys know what to do to fix this?

Thanks

If AC Odyssey was a success, why is the hate so much louder than the praise?

I’ve reached the point where I sometimes regret even admitting I enjoy Odyssey. According to a loud part of the AC community, the game is basically a stain on the series and deserves to disappear. They constantly call for the death of this RPG style and demand the return of ‘classic’ Assassin's Creed – whatever that perfect version they remember actually is. To them, this game is, and I do quote, "utter slop".

Am I so caught up in my enjoyment of Odyssey that I’m ignoring its obvious flaws? Is the game really that bad?
