Chicken poop, Is it a green? What does it add more of(npk)?
I know the bedding is a brown, and that the poop is brown colored, but as far as ratios go?

We converted our garage workshop into a co-op with an attached run. We have room to keep all of our chicken food in a metal basin with a lid. But to discourage pests we have mouse and rat traps for mice, chipmunks and squirrels that may get in. But for the first time, after 3 years of this, there was a dead rat in the trap. A grey, bald tailed, new York subway looking ass rat. Google says as long as there's no evidence of residency in the house or garage it should be ok. We live next to a suburb and a quarter mile from a river so I guess a rat might have wandered.
Should I be more concerned? Would a rat try to kill my ladies? We can't have roosters, but I'm sure a rooster could better fight a rat. I've seen the ladies catch and kill mice a couple times with a well aimed peck to the dome, but a rat???
No pics as I disposed of the rat almost week ago, but it's been on my mind.
They've bonded and babygirl(tabby) has bonded intensely with my wife. We asked the shelter for a cuddly cat and babygirl had been returned recently at the time, for being too clingy. While we were meeting her in the cat room Loki started climbing up my pants so we took them both home. He has head trauma and has trouble jumping and a head tilt. Almost 3 years ago now. Now they are the closest of siblings. There's a 3rd cat but Freyja is not interested in bonding.
