Season 2 Updates?

Like, did they forget about us giving President Curtis his own show?

They said "Coming Soon." Is that like 28 Years Later to Bone Temple soon or Rick and Morty early season 2-3 years until next trailer soon?

Has anyone else seen any news?

Where do you get your full birth char.t?

I've recently used astrocafe, and then they gave me different results, which, to me, seemed sketchy. Where are you going for your most accurate reading? I saw a couple on the mass reading thread, but any in particular you feel are most accurate?

Prescribe a NailCare Routine

I recently post this on the Nail Tech Subreddit - all 25 comments were techs telling me "you're beyond repair see a doctor, no nail tech can help you".

My understanding was, THATS EXCATLY WHAT NAIL TECHS DO!

My nails are super damaged from a lifetime of nail biting, but the dermatologist said "no injuries, see a psych & a nail tech." Psych said "Get a nailcare routine, stop biting, use bandaids, & see a derm or nail tech." My doctors literally said find a routine that heals them and a tech that can help by assessing my nail health, keep them safe, and assist me through the process.

I know the normal stuff that Ive been told for 30 years: cuticle oil, glass file, stop biting. But what made the difference? Take a look at my photos, & please perscribe a nailcare routine that'll help them heal, your number one tip to help them grow, & any general advice you have that can help or if you know a natural nail tech in or around New York/Long Island.

Thanks & Take care!

Edit: Many of you seem to be missing the point of this post. Im asking about routines and nail care - a nail techs training is in nail disinfection and sanitation, nail anatomy and physiology, manicures and pedicures (including hand/arm massage). They dont just do paint, art, and gel. That's what doctors are sending me to a nailtech for. That's the point of this post. If someone has advice about nail biting, that's a bonus. THIS POST IS ABOUT NAIL CARE Do not assume my looking for a nail tech is for acrylics and press ons to cover up the fact that my nails are damaged from a former habit. & if you've read this post correctly, you'll know I went to both a dermatologist and a psych already - this post is about nail care and routine recommendations. Im looking for a nailcare routine - as advised by my doctors. If you dont have the experience either professionally or personally or the empathy to offer a word of encouragement, then this comment section is not for you.

Thank you again for listening and in advance for your helpful inputs!

What to Do with Wealth

It's not a billion bucks, but I recently got paid out 40k in settlement fees from a car accident - non taxable, all in cash.

Without sitting it in the bank doing nothing, putting it in a savings account and doing nothing, or using it all to pay charged-off credit card debt, is there a smarter way to use/invest the funds? What would you do if you got 30-40k with no strings attached?

Outdoor Workout Sneakers

I usually get at least 2 pairs of shoes: One for running, One for training.

In the past few years though, I've just been wearing whatever sneaker I have for whatever im doing until they run holes through. Last year, I injured my knee, hip, and shoulder in a car accident. After 12 months of no physical activity, 50 lbs of weight gain, muscle loss, & staying inside - walking, running, & working out in public spaces - activity is the refresher and spark I need right now.

My workouts are usually outdoors, rarely on a gym floor. Terrain varies, though - streets & concrete, boardwalk, dirt, sandy beaches, rain/shine, and light hikes. Im 5'5, 208 lbs.

What shoes are you wearing and recommend for outdoor fitness? Any specific shoes for beach workouts and running in the sand? Are there stores in New York that help people in fitness pick shoes that you've had a good experience in? It's been years, but I tried a few and didn't get quality experience.

Mama Never Taught Me

Hello! Let's just start this off with - I love my mother and respect every sacrifice she's made for me to make sure that I was okay. With that being said - if it wasn't an appointment or need to do thing, she didn't show up or teach me much that would make me feel strong, beautiful, or confident later in life.

I turn 31 at the end of the summer, and one thing as a woman Ive become very insecure about, is the fact that I have never learned or been taught by a woman the importance, personalization, & application of skincare, makeup, haircare, clothing, posing, or anything positively feminine or beautiful. Like - soap bar on the face, 10% chance I'll put on face lotion, no idea how to handle scars, black heads, white heads, or acne. I put on body lotion daily, wash and go weekly, mascara, and blistex. Sweatpants, tanks tops, kimono, & whatever boots/sandals/sneakers I own until they fall apart. That's all I've got. I didn't have girlfriends growing up, YouTube was more 'follow my makeup tutorial & overpriced overconsumption routine' instead of 'here's how you figure out what makes you look your most dangerously confident & gorgeous self', and the women in my family just didn't prioritize beauty and self-care. I'm seeing their faces now and know I have to do something before I end up aging like milk instead of a fine wine!

Please share your advice and your experience learning about beauty and skincare for the first time. What it was like putting on makeup with the girls or figuring out your colours, skin type, & what worked for you. What you would share with your daughters about how to look and feel beautiful, polished, self-care, & confident. Idk - some big sis, mama, aunt, cousin, bestie chit-chat tea-time.

How to Start

Hello! I live in NYC & am looking for ways to safely get physical, heal, & strengthen my body for function and movement. I got back into fitness right before my accident, & and I've recently shot to my heaviest weight: 209lbs. My shoulder, knee, and hip are still in recovery with physical therapy 2x a week.

The therapists are helping, but I keep being told to do more physical activity by my PCP doctors, and I dont know how to safely do more than stretch on my own. My doctors have so far given me the most vague and "obviously" advice ever, "3-5x a week, do what feels comfortable, push yourself, dont overexert your knee but do exercises to strengthen and increase flexibility the knee and hip, a bit of strength training and cardio. You have a bad shoulder, but you need to work out your shoulders. Etc."

When we get to the okay how - "You'll know what's right for you. Therapy 2x a week, but do things on your own." Im not asking for a fitness plan from them, but a real plan for health and fitness is what I need. Every fitness coach I see usually say they feel uncomfortable working with my injuries and sends me back to the doctor to hear them say the same rendition of "You need it, its risky, you need it, be careful, you need it, cant do it, you need it...."

For the summer, I was aiming for outside workouts since 6 have been homebound for almost a year. We have some fitness parks near the beach in my area, too.

Is there any advice you have for me? Are there trainers out there who can help? Groups, resources, training places, or any general ideas for me from you are greatly appreciated.

Never Danced In My Life Before

I was the person who was surrounded by skilled dancers my whole life, the true dance era of the early 2000's where everyone knew video choreography and got down in the clubs, the party era of the 2010's were people were still groving, the TikTok dancers learning every move, the family Puerto Ricans who knew 20 different styles but instead of teaching me they were making fun of my three left feet.

Im 30 now. Without three+ margaritas, I have ZERO rhythm. I've mastered a drunken two-step, or im the robot trying too hard to look coordinated, or I just wallflower the night away. I just feel really out of place and out of touch with my body & how to connect to it & make it move.

I want to bust stress - build confidence - feel sultry - look cool - not feel shy or awkward in my skin - feel good on the dancefloor.

You know - just get down with my bad self.

What's your advice/words of wisdom/how to get started, learn, & practice?
