Hey everyone, I have just completed a tool for Linux Gaming. A previous tool I used by NayamAmarshe was somewhat abandoned and no longer worked on the newer distros I tried. I used it every time I installed a distro and it really helped with gaming. So I updated it, added a bunch of new features and created a GTK frontend for it to make things easier.

It currently works on Ubuntu distros and all it's derivatives (ZorinOS took a LOT of testing) and I also updated it for Arch to match the OG scripts scope.

Thought I would share this updated version, you can run the program or just the script. All options are optional and I included a handy uninstall button in case you want to revert for any reason.

Combining my 2 theories of the One Piece being the OG Mother Flame and now it being infused with a Devil fruit power. It makes sense a a few levels here.

1. It would make sense as to why it is so powerful. It originally powered Uranus. Joyboy stole it to stop Imu's plan.
2. It is infused with a Devil Fruit, this means it is a sentient being too. Aware of Imu and will not allow Imu to use it, so it could be so powerful to ward off imu. The power of a sun would be insane for attack power as well as a power source.
3. It'd be really funny. A comical all powerful being capable of saving or destroying the world.

Like Ragnir laying dormant, hating Imu. One Piece could be doing the same. Waiting for the next Joyboy to pick up where the previous left off.

This covers a lot of bases here. The reason why it's so important. The reason why Uranus ran out of energy, the reason why the Roger Pirates were too early (It's waiting for Joyboy), The reason why Imu can't simply go get it.

This would make the One Piece somewhat of a Straw Hat as opposed to a simple treasure. like Ragnir is to Loki.

It would also help Luffy fight Imu as Luffy doesn't have an answer to Imu's weapons not Maki. Maki is an alive weapon, so Luffy should get an equivalent.

My current #1 Theory.

Maybe the One Piece is an item infused with a Zoan Devil Fruit? Waiting for Joyboy like Ragnir was waiting for Loki.

It would both be funny and explain why the Roger Pirates were too early. Because Joyboy hadn't appeared yet.

The alternatives are many and are even more viable. It's up to you if you wanna put up with it. And if you choose so, then it's on you.

Which is what ended up happening. Imu has been "King" for almost a millennium, why hasn't he been able to complete his world? His adversaries are long dead. Well he is missing one piece.

I also believe Joyboy left it for the next Nika fruit user. The reason the Roger pirates were "too early" is because Joyboy had not returned yet.

They also laughed because once they understood that this was the stolen item foiling the big bad guy, I mean, come on that's pretty funny. You may have won the battle but not the war kinda stuff.

Although this theory doesn't tell us exactly what the One Piece is, it does get us closer to understanding it.

Now what the One Piece physically is. It's a piece of the forbidden Sun or the product of harvesting the forbidden Sun. The OG mother flame.

Uranus is powered by the mother flame. It was initially a drill to reach the energy source in the planet itself. It's also a unique drill that instead of having the ocean fall into the hole it creates, it raises the sea level instead. This allows the "enslaved" to traverse the hole to harvest the energy source below, the "forbidden Sun".

This was created well before Imu and Joyboy's time, the 3000 year old 1st world was responsible for this and their drilling cause cataclysmic events, earthquakes and make the red line from volcanic eruption. The aftermath of this plunged the world into darkness and "void" and Uranus was banned from being used. Although they had already collected enough resources to create the One Piece to power their Kingdom.

Over millennia this power source depleted, and the technologically advanced Ancient Kingdom was contemplating drilling for the forbidden sun again. This is where the 20 kingdoms stepped in to stop the ancient Kingdom. Initially their alliance was for altruistic reason but amongst them was someone with ulterior motives, who saw this as an opportunity to not only topple the existing ruling power but a chance to usurp the momentum of the movement and become King.

Joyboy being from the ancient Kingdom was initially on the side of the 20 kingdoms. He defected from the tyrannical Ancient Kingdom and became the first Pirate. He potentially even rallied up the 20 kingdoms in order to protect the world.

The 20 kingdoms went to war with the Ancient Kingdom and confiscated Uranus. All that was left was for Imu to usurp the power but Joyboy being an Ally initially, was aware and attempted to stop him. This created a division and whoever sided with Imu were deified, whoever sided with Joyboy were traitors.

Joyboy stole the power source so that Uranus was worthless and even though he died, Imu couldn't enact the rest of his plan. Rather than searching for the one piece, which I'm sure they tried to. Imu decided that instead of arousing suspicion and allowing someone else to come along and find this great power, they would attempt to develop their own... It would just take time... But also, time was needed to put distance between the events of that century so they could move in the shadows.. he is immortal, time is nothing.

That brings us to the present day. Vegapunk has successfully created what Imu has been waiting for, he can continue his plan but the will of Joyboy and also that of Davy are still around.

Where the fruits come in. As vegapunk has mentioned, they are born from human dreams and desires.

The Sun god was created by the enslaved wanting a hero to come and save them from their enslavement but also protect the forbidden Sun they were harvesting and being aware of the dire consequences of doing so.

The earth god represents the earthquakes that happened from this event.

The sea god also from the cataclysmic event.

Rain god also came from the aftermath of the event.

Forest god was prayed to as they wanted the rejuvenation for all the vegetation destroyed from the aftermath of the event.

The devil fruit that Imu is the user of was created because the devil could be responsible for all of this

The entire world was not informed of the truth of why the first world ended. Instead stories were told and those stories became the god and devil fruits that we hear about in the Harley text and see Imu and Luffy using.

They also serve another purpose, not only are they because of the event, they are a means of resolving it. So we are seeing the resolution of that play out be the users of the fruits.

First World

Within the earth there was fire. (The planet's core.)

Mankind succumbed to greed and touched the forbidden sun. (Uranus was used to drill into the core.)

The enslaved prayed, and the sun god appeared. (Enslaved people harvested the core — shown on the mural carrying pieces of it upward.)

The earth god raged, and with its serpent of hellfire shrouded the world in death and darkness. (Earthquakes and fallout from the tectonic damage.)

And they will never meet. (The oceans, divided by the Red Line.)

Second World

Within the void there was breath.

The forest god tamed demons, and the sun spread the fires of war. (The world fought over the resource pulled from the core.)

Those of the Half-Moon dreamed. Those of the Full Moon dreamed.

Man killed the sun and became god. (The forbidden sun was sealed or exhausted.) And the sea god stormed. (Sea levels rose.)

And they will never meet. (The Red Line still divides the oceans.)

Third World

Within the chaos there was emptiness.

The inconvenient remnants recall the promised day and hear the voice of the half-moon. (The "D" are the remnants; their will is the half-moon.)

The sun god dances and laughs, guiding the world to its end. (Luffy fulfilling his destiny.)

The sun returns and brings a new morning. (The One Piece may be this sun — or the key to it.)

And they will surely meet. (The Red Line falls, and the oceans become the All Blue.)

Two Layers: Physical and Divine

The story works on two levels. Devil fruits are literal, and Luffy is literally the Sun God — but per Vegapunk's theory, fruits are born from human desire. So beneath the "God" layer sits a physical layer: the real historical event the gods were dreamed up to explain. I'll state both as fact below rather than hedge constantly, just to keep this readable.

Physical Layer

The Forbidden Sun is an energy source burning within the planet's core. To reach it, the Ancient Kingdom enslaved people and used Uranus — a massive drill — to bore down to it. Uranus had an unusual property: the holes it created didn't flood, they raised sea levels instead, making the excavation usable.

The people of that era, 3,000 years ago, understood the risk of tampering with the planet itself, but greed won out. The drilling triggered massive earthquakes, and the resulting hellfire serpent (fallout from the tectonic upheaval) split the world's ocean in two.

The Ancient Kingdom survived, but the world was permanently changed. When the Kingdom pushed to keep harvesting the Forbidden Sun, twenty other kingdoms opposed them, and war broke out over the planet's future. The twenty kingdoms won, steering the world away from further destruction. Publicly, their cause was righteous — but one member had other plans: Imu, who saw the war as a path to seize the throne. The coalition halted the drilling itself, but Imu remained fixated on Uranus's side effects — rising seas and mass destruction — as a weapon of war, one powered by the original Mother Flame: the One Piece.

Not everyone wanted the power fought over. Joyboy's crew wanted it belonging to no one — shared by everyone. This became the true war of the Void Century: Imu, exposed to some degree by Joyboy, fought to silence that threat and protect the control he'd stolen from the twenty kingdoms' legitimate cause. That's why he erased the Void Century and hid the truth — he and the Celestial Dragons cannot afford the world learning it, because it would undo the order he built (or is still building).

God Layer

Each god was dreamed into existence by people responding to the same catastrophe:

• Sun God — dreamed up by the enslaved to free them from harvesting the Forbidden Sun.
• Earth God — born from the earthquakes and the magma that formed the Red Line.
• Sea God — born from the sea-level changes caused by Uranus.
• Forest God — prayed for by those hoping to regrow the plant life the catastrophe destroyed.
• Rain God — born from the storms that followed — magma meeting water, generating the chaotic weather of the aftermath.

Final Thoughts

These gods don't just originate from the ancient catastrophe — they're set to re-enact it. Luffy represents the Forbidden Sun itself; Imu represents the sea. Their collision is destiny.

I believe this event, roughly 3,000 years ago, is why devil fruits exist at all — a way to correct what went wrong, by giving ordinary people the power to stand against those who'd repeat it.

That also explains the One Piece. I believe it's ancient: the Ancient Kingdom's advanced technology condensed the Forbidden Sun extract into a miniature sun — the original Mother Flame. It powered the kingdom for millennia, until either demand outgrew supply or the flame began to fade. That shortfall forced a return to drilling, reigniting the war — this time not just over survival, but over the morality of risking a second cataclysm. By then devil fruits already existed, and the god fruits were waiting for the right wills to attach to and set things right. But this time, nothing was resolved. The reckoning was only delayed.

We are now about to experience the resolution.
