Classes start tmr and im so not excited plz hype me up about college! 3.5th year studen

I got my associates this summer. Ive transferred 3 times (kicked out, moved states, jr college) so i’m behind age wise and I’ve wasted a couple semesters since they don’t accept all classes when transferring. I was going for engineering but the closest affordable college with that major was in Chicago and I’m married so I don’t wanna move my husband and I all the way into the city.

I’m stuck at a small private college that absolutely sucks. I’m getting a chem degree with a math minor and the academics here are garbage. They treat us like children. I’m really really really not looking forward to classes to the point where I wouldn’t mind not waking up tmr. I cry a lot just thinking about going. I have no student debt but I will need a loan for this semester. I am seriously considering dropping out but I have no other career path and will have to restart at a trade school or be okay with working minimum wage jobs for the rest of my life. I’ve put so much time and effort into my school that I just am so torn.

I just want encouragement to know I’m doing the right thing and it’ll all be worth it. I know a chem degree will get me nothing tho

I painted this hoodie, would this be a good gift for a casual bleach fan ?? I don’t watch bleach so idk the characters.

I painted on this hoodie for my husband’s bday. I watch anime but have never watched bleach so i don’t know the characters or significants. I saw a drawing on pinterest and just tried to paint it. I just need a bleach fan to tell me if the design is cool or what i could add to it.

Pt 2…. Is the rendering sharp enough for a finished piece? I fixed the things that were recommended please let me know if you have more critiques.

Here is the final and previous versions of the picture. I’m not sure that it’s as atmospheric as I’d like but please just rip it to shreds this is me learning!!

Why is anime style art so popular? Is my art style holding me back from getting comms

I reply to many posts hiring artists when I feel like my art style would suit the project and subject matter (EX I don’t reply if it’s asking specifically for manga/anime/comic art), but I never get any response or interest. Is this platform not a good fit for my work or is my work just not at that level??

[free] let em draw your unique pet

I’ll draw it in the first style but the most unique pet I’ve drawn is a sally lightfoot crab (second pic). Show me your cool pet and I’ll draw it. Not sure how many I can do tonight but we’ll see.

Realistic sally light foot crab/ rate my crab

This took 14 hours. Is that time good for this level of painting or should I work on speed? Also I’ve got so much hate on art I’ve posted on here I just feel so confused whether i can even draw. Many people have compared my skill set to that of a teen but sadly I’m 22. How can I improve?!

My teacher said he will be giving zero for anyone looking away from the screen for extended periods of time —- honorlock

For one of my classes when I take a quiz there is nothing before the quiz to launch honorlock and nothing that shows my camera is in use. I took a few quizzes using my phone and got full points but he made an announcement that a few students are being shady and he will be reviewing all sessions form honorlock from now on. Does honorlock instantly start recording?? There is no verification or anything or mic check. I feel like I’m being violated because I’ve never been asked to share my screen or camera.

I need hearing buddy recommendations for my deaf double Merle

I rescued my deaf double Merle Aussie about 3 years ago but this past month his brother (8 yrold Siberian husky) died very unexpectedly. My Aussie has problems with anxiety and has a bit of food aggression since he was in the shelter for a year. He has been getting very anxious all day and won’t leave my side anymore because he lost his hearing buddy. I’m not sure when he’ll be ready for a new dog since it’s a big change, but I want to start looking in shelters or, if needed, for breeders. Has anyone been thought this? What are your recommendations for breed, age or temperament?

I was a mechanical engineering student until this upcoming semester. tbh i just have no interest in engineering it's just what ive been told to do since I was "smart" in HS. I had a 32 ACT, 4.0 gpa, and was salutatorian, but I feel like it's actually pretty stupid. learning takes a lot of effort for me, so I put in effort to not fail until I got pretty good at it. I think it'd be fulfilling to work in a research lab so i was going to switch to a BIO major but it would take me 55 credit hours which I don't want to do bc I'm sick of school so instead I'm doing chem which needs 25 credits. currently i have a 3.0 composite GPA but I have to take O-chem 1 and 2, quantum analysis, quantum chemistry & spectrometry, biochemistry and inorganic chemistry. Im also taking a minor in math because I have a ton of math already done form my engineering degree. This last semester I put in seriously no effort into my classes and have one A (humanities) and Bs in the rest. please someone scare me into doing better. how did you do in the classes I have upcoming? what resources did you use to supplement understanding? is this just as hard as getting an engineering degree but just way less pay? help im scared lol

edit!!!!: when I say "Ive put no effort in" I mean I attend every lecture and take notes but I dont spent time outside of that studying. I do my homework but often rely on other students and google to help me through very difficult problems. I'm not cheating on test or quizzes just not like focused on school like many of my peers are.
