Possible ADHD, how do you study something you find viscerally boring
I suspect i might have either ADHD or AuDHD, haven't tried testing as of now due to many reasons (mainly due to moving out and bureaucracy being a pain in the ass where i live).
I am a 19yo guy and i have failed my driver's licence theory test five times.
the first time i just procrastinated until it was too late, then the second through fourth time i tried my best studying a subject i despise and barely didn't pass.
and then last time i didn't even bother and almost passed.
I don't care about cars, on the contrary, i find them boring and the people who love them to be annoying, but unfortunately they are vital to someone's autonomy and now that i live far away from anything i really would like that autonomy.
My main problems are 2:
The test itself is bullshit, idk about other countries, but here in Italy the test is made in such a way that it's trying to make you fail, in short words, it doesn't test your knowledge, it throws at you convoluted and trick questions made for the only purpose to make you fail (so that you have to spend money to do another test).
I just struggle to study it, at first it was manageable maybe due to the novelty of it, but with time it became just very hard for me, especially since i have been told to do the mock tests over and over and they just turn my brain off every time i try to do them, i get so bored and annoyed everytime, it makes studying 100 times slower.
For a bit i was watching some videos and it helped a little but still not enough to pass it.
I am really worried to be honest, not only do i have the exam in 10 days and i barely studied anything, but i am supposed to go to university this year, and i feel like i am so behind in terms of studying method and even concentration in general that i might as well give up now.
I feel useless already but the way people treat me for failing such a "simple" thing as the driver's licence makes me feel even worse.
I just need tips i guess, sorry for the rant-like text, it's 4am and i should be sleeping.
