Hi, my ofw mom bought a condo unit sa QC and we previously had my cousin & her bf na "agent" to take care of it for us (both college students na basically kumukuha ng tenants for condos sa facebook)

Staying in Manila po kasi ako pursuing my college studies kaya di ko rin fully maasikaso even if I want to.

Smooth naman sa una at sobrang gustong-gusto sila ng mom ko kasi may few tenants every month sa staycation rental condo namin kahit wala masyadong pa-decor kaya na-impress mom ko (in reality he just spam posts sa rental groups lol nothing wrong w it naman pero my mom really thought of him as someone na sobrang lawak ng network & connections)

28% ang commission nung guy + 500 cleaning fee sa kanilang dalawa (kamag-anak pa so my mom ordered them grabfoods kasi tuwang-tuwa siya sa kanila). The guy told my mom sarili niya nag-papaaral sa kaniya by being an "agent" at wala daw nagsusuntento o tumutulong sa kanya kaya naawa mom ko & nag-agree (in reality pala he has a tito na nagpapa-aral sa kanya & tumutulong financially😅)

The guy was insisting pa nga sa mom ko before na siya or yung pinsan ko ang gawing official tenant sa unit namin "para di na po kayo ma-hassle sa guest forms, tita🥰" but I didnt agree and told my mom I dont mind taking time to email Guest Forms.

What i didnt like is they fully decorated the condo unit (as in w wallpapers and those w strong adhesive stickers) without our consent. basically nag-shopping sa shopee then just sent the total sa mom ko

Thats when we took the keys pero ang sinabi lng namin "to renovate lang pero ibabalik parin sa kanila" and the guy suggested again to make him the official tenant to which my mom nicely refused.

When my mom and few of her friends stayed in our unit, SOBRANG DAMING cockroaches. even sa cabinets. puro kagat sila ng ipis. turns out andaming food crumbs na hindi nililinis nung pinsan ko & her bf ang ganda pa ng photos and vids nila sinesend sa mom ko non

nainis mom ko pero never told my cousin or magulang niya kasi syempre kamag-anak. the ultimate last straw sa mom ko is dinelete ni guy yung fb page ng staycation namin without informing us. parang nagulat nlng mom ko wala na nung tinry nya puntahan fb page.

I heard di na ata "agent" yung guy na yon but they still clean condo units parin ata. I sometimes lowkey wonder if he just posted performative stuff sa socmed to seem legit sa mom ko. my mom is known to be generous din kasi & she love those 'hardworking & selfmade' narratives 😅

we changed the door knob to a digital one na po and vacant atm (finishing pa ang minor reno) pero is it possible po ba to handle it kahit malayo po ako? I can do socmed stuff and I asked the condo admin & said they can give us a cleaner 500 per cleaning pero inaalala ko po kasi yung guest forms? need pa din ata ibigay sa building guard to let the guests in?

Situation#1 : Viewed the public FB story ng ordinary FB account di mo finollow + di mo FB friend = lalabas buong name ng account mo and naka-indicate na 'Non-follower' ka

Situation#2 : Viewed the public FB story ng naka-pro & Non-pro mode na FB account (not FB friends + non-Follower ka ng account) = lalabas parin full account name mo + 'Non-follower' label

haha so di ka na po 'Others' hindi ko lang alam since kailan pa haha gumawa kasi ako ng FB page for my business and I realized LAHAT ng FB accounts na nag-view sa FB story ko sa page, nakikita ko kahit non-followers kaya I got curious and tried it on an actual personal FB account haha

alam ko namang walang nagtanong or interested pero skl😅 corny na ni FB tbh lmao

mapapatawad ko pa yung punyetang paiba-iba ng lugar yung mga nasa settings sa FB & messenger eh (minsan nakaka-irita yung tipong nasa ibang lugar nanaman yung 'deactivate account' option sa FB app o kaya yung 'Restricted' accounts sa FB messenger lol) pero I realized ang awkward na rin pala whenever I just randomly view public FB stories ng public accounts hahah

I'm currently studying civil engineering. Oo na, we dont earn the same starting salary as IT na kesyo instant 30k na or kesyo 400k per hr or whatever after 2 yrs, and yada yada yada. We get it. all power to them.

I have mad respect for people in tech/nursing/accountancy/BPO/etc and career shifters pero minsan nakakapagod narin na paulit-ulit makita in local CE FB groups or local CE subreddits.

Cant I just genuinely appreciate my chosen field in peace? Gusto ko lang naman makakuha ng useful tips and advice sa mga experienced engineers as someone na first engineer both sides ng family at walang matanungan.

Theres nothing wrong w complaining about our field and how exhausting it is. it is genuinely valid naman po. what i lowkey have a problem with is those people na sobrang negative.

Like ano ba. eh some of us hindi nga po para sa IT or Nursing to do a career switch bat ba parang pinipilit niyo kami? r/PinoyProgrammer exist bakit pa po ba kayo nasa CE sub? pag sinabi mo naman yon na-ooffend sila kesyo bakit daw sila lilipat ng sub eh CE sila. ewan ko sa inyo haha

There are engineers parin naman who are genuinely helpful sa sub and groups may iba lng tlga na parang gatekeeping pa or sobrang negative na pag may nag post ng positive experience kesyo "gawa-gawa" lang daw. its an echochamber of negativity tlga most of the time tbh (i sometimes browse r/AccountingPH , r/PinoyProgrammer, & r/NursingPH and cant help but feel envious of the vibe of those subs tlga tbh)

To all my fellow aspiring civil engineers who genuinely chose this field, don't take every negative posts and comments about our field to heart. Yes, take them into account but dont internalize them. Tbh its better to ask professors and actual engineers than hanging out on CE fb groups or reddit.

To those civil engineers who are doing their best to share genuine advice, insights, and opinions to aspiring CEs, maraming maraming salamat po at nandiyan kayo. You serve as our guide in our field. Sobrang laking tulong niyo po saamin and sana masarap ang ulam niyo everyday.

Been using Maya since 2020 ata? and I just recently got preapproved of Maya Black CC after I put money sa time deposit.

I got approved literally in minutes and that card delivery was on its way.

Im also an existing cc holder sa BDO din and medyo mataas cc limit ko don so akala ko medj ganon din sa Maya Black 😅 I just grabbed it kasi I just recently got declined when I applied for UB Rewards Platinum CC (I assume I got rejected by automation kasi i received the rejection 2 days after application and Sunday pa yon. Hi, I've been using my BDO Visa Sig CC for 1 year na and I always pay in full every month.

Ang monthly Total Amount Due ko is typically around 35k-40k+ so hindi siya abot don sa NAFFL condition for BDO Visa Sig na dapat spend 1 Million in total for a year ata (which is 80k+ monthly. ayoko naman mag overspend just to reach that😅)

Pero I read kasi sa Kask4san Buddies FB group na you can call CS to waive the AF of BDO Visa Sig? will I most likely be allowed to do that po ba kahit more than a year pa lang yung CC sakin?

Hi, we are planning to resume minor renovations in our condo unit pero we have no idea kung saan kukuha ng worker/s

We initially took in our 2 relatives pero halatang binabagalan nila yung pag gawa tapos sobrang late pa magising. punta kami sa condo 3pm na kasi 2pm sila nagigising tapos by 5pm cut off na ng condo. Na-violation pa kami kasi i let them work until mga 7pm and nahuli nung guard (arawan kasi bayad sa kanila kaya medj nanghinayang)

Hi, I'm just starting a small online business and yesterday, I had a box of inventory picked up from a supplier (they nudged me that I need to pick it up kasi kaka-dating lng the other day sa kanila ng stocks so I did), pagdating don ni Lalamove rider, hindi sumasagot yung shop and number. I keep politely telling them "Hindi daw po kayo sumasagot sa call sabi ni rider. Please answer the call po"

They kept repeating na papasukin si rider sa shop at walang mag-aassist sa kanya (huh? I was messaging them about kay rider kasi ilang beses na siyang tumatawag sa kanila either busy or hindi sumasagot. Baka kasi hindi familiar si rider)

The rider kept calling me and politely telling me na kanina pa siya nag hihintay at walang sumasagot sa call, may additonal fee na rin for waiting (which i understand), kung kailan lang ako na-frusttate doon lang sila ata sumagot kay rider at na-pick up yung box of inventory na FULLY PAID ko na (I was one of the buyers who paid early while waiting for the stocks to arrive)

I personally enjoyed the movie. Sure, it has its cliché moments, but what stood out to me was how it invites the audience to actively figure things out alongside the female professor. Even as someone who isn’t particularly knowledgeable about science or ant behavior, I found myself trying to piece together what was happening in real time.

In that sense, it feels like a refreshing take on the typical zombie/infected genre. Instead of the usual “the strongest or fittest survives” narrative, this film shifts the focus to intelligence, adaptability, and the ability to recognize patterns quickly. Survival depends less on physical strength and more on understanding how the infected behavior evolves and responding accordingly.

Ngl, I was also rooting for the older athlete who went after the perfumes, as well as the security guard. Man, the athlete clearly had the agility and endurance to survive, and the security guard had strong combat skills and some insticts to be one of the last survivors, but by that point he was driven more by emotion than logic. His actions were fueled by revenge for his sister rather than a clear understanding of the situation, which really limited his chances of survival. The movie seems to emphasize how crucial it is to remain adaptable and continuously update your understanding of what’s happening in order to make the right decisions (which, imo, is much more complicated than simply gunning down the infected bc the film clearly shows that its quite ineffective for the situation)

This might be an unpopular opinion, but I honestly hope the movie gets a sequel. I really enjoyed the “figuring things out” aspect of it. If there is a continuation, I’d love to see the logic behind the infected system expanded further.maybe something even more complex and mentally stimulating.
