How can I prove residency?

I’m currently going through a child support case in Ohio and just been contacted by my lawyer that she’s going for the time since birth 12 years as of now for arrears. My lawyer said since I signed the birth certificate Ohio is a state where they can go that far back, but I found out in Florida where she’s been living for a couple years they only go back two years. How can I prove that in court? I’ve found a domestic violence against her in 2025 and she’s provided a W-2 from 2025 working in Florida all year. Florida should of picked this case up from the beginning but she lied on the application claiming to be a resident there less than six months

Toro recycler 22in push mower

Just got quoted today to fix my lawnmower for $195 just for a carburetor clean and a oil flush. He’s trying to claim the carburetor cleaning is 130+ the oil flush and labor is $30 plus an air filter for $10. $10 for oil five dollars for fuel just seems a little high for a push mower and nothing was replaced and not even a tuneup with it. Am I crazy?

Retroactive pay

So here’s a backstory 13 years ago, my ex got pregnant. We both lived in Ohio moved to Texas when she had him I signed the birth certificate thinking he was mine a year later she told me he wasn’t and since I am from Ohio, I didn’t really have anywhere to go or a reason to be around since he wasn’t mine. Now 12 years later, she files for child support and retro pay and my lawyer tells me since I signed the birth certificate even if he wasn’t mine a DNA test wouldn’t matter. My question is can she actually go back 12 years for a retro pay after all this time? Is there anything I could fight like why would she wait so long and is there any cap on retro pay? . It just seems like a payday for her money grab

Harmonic balancer

Recently had my car in the shop for maintenance was told by my Mechanic that there was an oil leak sent it into Hyundai who replaced the engine 14 months ago (blew up) and they told me it was a oil seal that went bad in the front passenger side, it went bad due to vibrations of them not properly installing my harmonic balancer they claim there’s no damage or metal shavings in the oil just a bad seal. Is there anything else I should be looking out for? I just feel like they’re trying to get one over on me with a five dollar fix how can I go 14 months and the only damage is an oil seal. My warranty is also up in 9000 miles in less than a year so I’ll be out of luck if there’s some serious damage caused by them.
