Prior to all of these efforts, team owners would pretty much have complete control over the entire careers of NBA players.

I wholeheartedly agree with Isiah! LeBron James should be praised for his decision to utilize free agency and take his career into his own hands. LeBron’s choice to utilize free agency showed that the efforts of players from the past such as Oscar Robertson and Isiah Thomas were not for nought and had finally been fully realized.

Also, LeBron has an assist title while Jordan has NEVER led the league in assists.
