This Philly squad is so exciting! What are your expectations/predictions for this season?
Keyshawn Johnson admits he never wanted LeBron on the Lakers because he as a Kobe fan, felt threatened by LeBron’s legacy.
Keyshawn Johnson is also the same guy who stupidly claimed that “he’s never seen LeBron posterize somebody”. His statement was so stupid that even Skip Bayless had to correct him.
Gilbert Arenas grades LeBron’s Lakers tenure. Arenas speaks on the double standard LeBron is held to compared to that of other all-time greats. Thoughts?
Arenas says that the ridiculous criticism of LeBron at his age is actually misunderstood praise, since holding LeBron to a higher standard than the standard that other all-time greats were held to means you expect more from LeBron than you did from them.
However, it seems as if his detractors haven’t yet realized it themselves.
In 1998, Tim Duncan said he was not impressed with Michael Jordan.
Just 1 year later, Tim Duncan won his first championship and Finals MVP. And now, Tim Duncan is universally considered the GOAT PF.
The mindset of a multiple time champion & the GOAT PF.
Don’t put anybody on a pedestal.
Derrick Rose says the next generation will not remember him: “There’s a lot of players that don’t know Wilt Chamberlain. These kids today don’t know who he is or Bill Russell. So who am I to say that they’re going to remember me?”. Thoughts? Do you agree?
Do you agree?
I didn’t know this about LeBron’s help. I guess I’ve been lied to.
LeBron having that many playoff wins without a teammate having made an All-Star, All-NBA or a All-Defensive team is unreal!
LeBron having 119 Playoff wins without an All-NBA Team is ridiculous!

This one was made very recently since Thug says “RIP to Street” in it. It showed me that Thug still good with the melodies
“RIP to Street” of course referencing Young Scooter’s passing which was last year. One of Scooter’s most popular phrases being “count up”
LeBron having 116 playoff wins without an All-NBA Teammate is ridiculous. Tim Duncan having 87 is unreal as well! All of this extremely impressive
All of the players listed here are obviously very impressive as well.
Reggie Miller was surprising, but I forgot about the roster of some of those Pacers teams back in the day.
Which player was scarier as a fan? Kobe getting hot or Steph getting hot against your team?
For me it has to be Steph. Him hitting a barrage of 3 pointers is almost demoralizing.
If Steph gets hot he can easily create a 20+ point lead in just a few minutes.
Jason Kidd on the LeBron & Kobe 2008 Olympic practices: "The biggest thing about those practices was LeBron was guarding Kobe and Kobe was trying to guard LeBron"
Fun Fact: Michael Jordan wanted to take a paycut to play with Larry Bird and have him join the Bulls
Scottie Pippen asked if Jordan is the GOAT?: “He’s one of them. There is no GOAT. It’s a team game”
Terrence Rose on LeBron’s career: “He got drafted when I was 13. I played over a decade in the NBA and retired 4 years ago… and he’s still playing!”
Gordon Hayward on Kobe’s last game: “I will say Kobe probably airballed 7 times. He shot 50 shots. I don’t think he was that good throughout most of the game. His teammates were passing up wide open shots to get him the ball. There were illegal screens. The refs had to be in on it.”
Do you agree with ESPN analyst MacMahon on young fans viewing Jordan and his era like Bill Russell’s?
I definitely see a shift with younger fans and players especially after that Athletic NBA player poll and Bleacher Report user poll on the GOAT Debate.
