Sooooo I have been taking a classes all spring and summer and I have this one class that I did very poorly on the first midterm (65%) because I was deathly sick and the prof said because summer schedule moves so fast it’d be best if I just did the exam on the scheduled date. After that mark I locked in and got an A-/A on every other piece of course work.

But of course the final exam is worth 45% (way too much imo) and I needed an 87% to get an A- but I scored an 84%. Now my final grade is just 1.1% shy of getting an A-….would it be silly to approach my prof through email and ask if she could kindly adjust my grade so I can get an A-😭😭😭 especially considering I took my first midterm in less than favourable circumstances.

I just really want an A because my other two summer classes I scored an A- and A+ and I’m applying for law school this year so I need the best grades I can get lol

Last season Lex tore Tavi tf up for her birthday and this season they ruined her birthday by fighting 😭😭😭😭😭

If Trinity and Kayda don’t get into modelling I’m going to be sick. Like I’m not talking doing ads or like commercial modelling I’m talking runwayyyyy and high fashion.

Ever since I seen both of them walk into the villa i immediately knew there’s a high chance if not 100% chance we’re seeing them in this years Victoria secret show. They’re just perfect for it. And with all the hype they have right now, Victoria secret would be silly not to include them.

They’re just so gorg I can’t 😭

I know everyone loves Olandria, I’m indifferent about her I didn’t watch her season. But one thing I will say is that she’s become this big celebrity…however I don’t think she knows how to maintain this fame and how to carry herself. And I believe she won’t be “famous” or as famous in a couple years.

My reasoning is that, she doesn’t really…do anything. She doesn’t create content, she doesn’t have a brand, she doesn’t have a podcast, she’s not on any other tv shows, she’s not trying to sing, she’s not trying to act, she hasn’t hosted anything. Like she really does nothing and quite frankly she’s boring…I fear she’s the nothing burger.

If you go on her tik tok it’s pretty much nothing but ads and brand deals….thats boring who wants to watch that…then her fans will say she’s shadow banned, baby she’s not shadow banned don’t nobody wanna watch ads all day😭 other than that any time I see her all she’s doing is getting dressed in a fancy outfit to walk some red carpet or get her picture taken. It’s literally just pictures over and over again.

Lol maybe the point is to be more of a celebrity than an influencer but even then the TYPE of celebrity she’s trying to be still makes digestible content like look at Kylie Jenner.

Moral of the story what I’m tryna say is that I think it’s gonna get old unless she switches it up. She should do GRWMs or Vlogs or smth. Cause love island is every year and it’s only getting more and more popular, new “it girls” are going to be coming at lighting speed…idk if she’ll keep up

Now I’m talking about the final four couples specifically and more specifically the top two. It seems like every time they talk you can’t really get a genuine satisfactory answer out of them. Have they been that PR trained and whipped into shape??? Their interview with Andy Cohen was awful to say the least.

And a lot of people ask why they always praise sincere and Melanie’s relationship whenever asked about it instead of saying the truth…and it’s because I think to them it’s bad optics to be recorded talking badly about another islander specifically a final four couple. They don’t want any of the drama or any of the internet backlash from Melanie’s flock of birds. So they just choose to smile and nod which just reads as incredibly disingenuous.

They all sound like how everyone sounds when talking to an interviewer for a job you really want…overly polished and fake. But whatever lol I lowkey think Corbin, Jen, and Caleb are having the best post Villa runs.

I met this friend around 2 years ago in university and we became very close. We see eachother everyday due to close proximity living in the dorms. We go to the gym together, eat in the dining hall together, sometimes even have sleepovers which is why the fact that his breath smells bothers me so much because there are so many instances everyday where he is extremely close to me.

Everyday since I’ve met him it has stunk. And it’s not like a normal bad breathy smell it’s like an absolutely putrid smell that could make you gag. We have a little trio so our third friend is also aware of it, we’ve made small remarks of it to one an other but never actually addressed it.

And the other week we were at a festival/concert and I was with my other friend and we approached him and he was drunk and belligerent so he was talking very close to my face and I literally couldn’t breath in the entire interaction. But idk is there any way to tell him that his breath smells? And Ik people always say “offer them gum” but that’s just a one time temporary solution, this is an everyday thing.

Edit: I will say when he was a child he chipped his front tooth (like one third of it) and this happened in a third world country so the tooth was fixed very poorly, you can see the discolouration in the part that was fixed. So maybe that could be why. But I’m not sure

So I’ve always heard people raving about this show and I decided to give it a try, I’m on episode 3 and I like it so far apart from one very uncomfortable aspect.

Gabrielle’s relationship with John is very hard to overlook. After episode one I looked up how old he’s supposed to be and apparently he was 16 at the start of their relationship……

And then early in episode 3 she gives him a booty call and he picks up from his highschool classroom. Idk I’m just kind of disgusted and don’t know why this was written into the show. He couldn’t have been in college??? Or at the VERY least an 18 year old senior? Why why why does he have to be in highschool.

And the fact that they’re soft launching the idea that he’s not just a sexual relationship but Gabrielle has feelings for him too is so weird. I fear if it was one of the husbands in the show doing this to a 16 year old highschool girl the series would have never made air.

I can’t even look at any scene Gabrielle is in without snaring because of this factor. What a shame, I really wanted to love this show lol

So I’ve had some mixed opinions about Melanie throughout the entire run of love island. Firstly I thought she was doing too much by being overly excited with Corbin and Caleb and then having a psychotic crash out over Sincere pulling Kayda for a chat…on day 2😗

Then I thought she was extremely weird for the way she treated Kayda afterwards. Calling her “Katie” on purpose and then dunking her in the slime as “revenge” for no reason. I can’t lie Melanie annoyed me a lot in the earlier episodes.

Then my opinion of her was kind of indifferent I thought she was wrongfully being duped by Sincere and I felt bad. But then she kept forgiving him over and over again. And what really was the last straw for me was movie night. After she forgave him I lost all interest in any scene that she was in and then after family day and her family gave her such a heart warming conversation and WARNED her and I think we all know what happened. Yeah icl I skipped all Sincere and Melanie scenes after that.

Now that they’re out of the villa she’s still with him which is whatever…we expected that….but now to me it’s not just about her being with him because she likes him….shes still with him after what his family was saying about the other islanders was exposed.

Sinceres family called trinity Ghetto for no reason and then compared Aniya to shrek. After seeing that she’s still with him??? Yeah I don’t feel bad for her one bit. At a certain point you are who you date.

In my opinion they are PERFECTLY compatible. He not going to stop doing bullshit and she’s going to keep forgiving bullshit….in what world are they not compatible?😂

I’m seeing a lot of people having sympathy for KC and Titi, people saying they should not attend the reunion, they should boycott all the islanders and anything to do with love island, they shouldn’t do interviews, hoping that they’re doing ok… and I just want to ask GENUINELY not even to be rude

…what happened to them to garner all of this sympathy and worry?

From what I watched they were pretty much treated like any other islander by the media, they were hated on just as much as Sincere, Gal, Parmida, Kenzie, Zach, Aniya….and I don’t see anyone out here saying they hope Parmida is ok, or that she should boycott love island😭

If we’re being real. Titi and KC were not hated on for no reason. KC said AWFUL things about Aniya and exposed his red pill rhetoric every time he spoke but it’s frustrating to see that everyone forgot about that and just sees a “black man getting hated on”, and even Titi she was a pick me basically the whole time and came into the villa guns blazing and lowkey aggressive literally bucking at Trinity when she said “I’m Titi” and was also snickering at and shading the Villa girls during Casa.

So after all of this why is the media acting like they have amnesia?😭 and KC and Titi have fully accepted the victim role acting like they were angels in the villa and are now being cyber bullied for no reason.

I’m not saying they deserve any hate, I don’t think any of them do, but I genuinely don’t understand why this is playing out the way it is as opposed to other islanders who also are receiving hate, in and out of the Villa.

Georgie is honestly one of if not my favourite character, he’s funny, genuine, and unproblematic…and they did him so dirty with his storyline.

Everytime I rewatch this show I so badly wish that Georgie would’ve finished highschool, continued football and been drafted into the NFL or something or gone on to stumble upon a really good business idea and become super successful right out of highschool. I think it would’ve been a perfect storyline to have that one person in the family who became very successful especially it being Georgie the unexpected one.

But I can’t deny that producers did the realistic thing with Georgie’s storyline. If this were real life what happened in the show is probably what would have happened to Georgie anyways.

I just detest the Mandy storyline. It never makes sense to me how he was 17 and she was 29, and she started having a romantic relationship with him when he became of legal age…it’s just weird asf. But I’m sure that topic has been discussed a million times.

K firstly, trinity doesn’t have to…if Jen had her extensions or tapes showing no one’s gonna say “Kenzie should help her”…help your self…she’s a grown woman babbyyy!! (Aniyas voice)

And this is not even hate to Aniya, I as a black woman just dislike when everyone acts like there’s this extra girls girl category for us because we’re black…cause now if I tell you your hairs been standing up for two weeks I’m the bad guy.

But ALAS. Trinity did end up helping Aniya this last episode around the 37 minute mark. Aniya announces to the girls that she has a new wig and makes a joke about taking everyone’s man, and Trinity playfully basically says not too much now before I take back my wig. But yeah I think maybe Trinity had some extra hair for the final week and I think producers might have nudged her into sharing with Aniya. Because that’s what the interaction gave.

Idk just an observation. It’s obviously a nice thing to help someone but no one is obligated to. Cause if you come on love island especially as a black lady and ydk how to do your hair how is that anyone’s problem 😭

Last I checked I was #87 on the waitlist and I have filled the waitlist continuation form every time but last round I got an email saying thanks for applying but I didn’t get a number at all, and then another email was supposed to come out today but it’s 7pm and…nothing 😬

I’ve lowkey noticed a pattern that every time Tesehki fights someone security either doesn’t jump in till it’s over or they jump in super late. Whereas with everyone else security practically jumps in before the fight even starts and doesn’t let them get a proper fight in.

Cause in the preview when Tesehki fights Amber security literally pulls away one of the staff members from breaking up the fight, and I forget which reunion it was or who she was fighting but security did not jump in at all and basically watched as Tesehki beat tf out of this person I’m pretty sure it was DTB.

It seems like producers know that everyone wants to see Tesehki fight and she rarely does fight so when she does they want to make it into a whole moment and don’t let security step in. Which is kinda crazy lol
