2 Questions on Lough Gur

  1. Is it possible to walk along left sided bank of Lough Gur? Ive never seen a path that leads there yet I always see a few people on that side.

  2. Is it possible to climb the hill? I never actually see anyone doing it and was just curious why people don't?

Revert issues

Salam Alaikum Brothers & Sisters.

I have an issue, where I live there are no halal options in the supermarket chains such as Tesco, Lild etc.

There are about 4-5 stores in my town, however 2-3 of the storea are owned by the same family and the other options I dare to say are very dirty and poorly run establishments.

Recently I've noticed there is always something wrong with my purchases, If I ask for lamb or beef they seem to give me the worst cuts, nearly pure bone.

Or they give me the smallest or oldest chicken breast etc.

This week, they made a mistake and wrote down the actual price of the meat and charged me and extra that what I should have had to pay.

I don't know what to do in these situations because they are my only access to halal meat but I feel really bad about the treatment I receive.

Just wondeing if anyone has any suggestions.

Irish citizen – non-EU spouse Stamp 2 to Stamp 4 application – additional document request

Hi everyone,

I’m an Irish citizen and my spouse is a non-EU national. She applied online through the ISD portal to change her permission from Stamp 2 to Stamp 4 as the spouse of an Irish citizen, following the process stated on the Immigration Service website.

After waiting for quite a long time, we have now received a request for additional documents. They are specifically asking for a letter from the Domestic Residence and Permissions Division (Domestic Division).

She only has 14 days to provide this document. We have already submitted a query to the Domestic Division explaining the situation and uploaded/provided the supporting documents we have, but we are worried about how long it will take to receive the requested letter.

Has anyone been in the same situation recently?

* How long did it take for the Domestic Division to respond?

* Were you able to get the required letter within the 14-day deadline?

* Did submitting a query through the portal help?

* Is there anything else we should do to explain that the document has been requested but is not currently in our possession?

The main issue is that she has already been waiting for a long time, and we urgently need to travel, so we really cannot afford another lengthy delay.

Any advice or experiences from people who have gone through the same process would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Wild Wild Weston

We have heard so much talk about the improvements of Moyross and the regeneration project, why is nobody commenting on how bad Weston currently is?

It generally feels and looks more like its back in the 1980s, there was at least 8 horses tied down and some roaming freely from Colbert Station right up as far as Ballincurra gardens.

Theres liter everywhere on the greens, and young lads flying up and down on E-scooters and not to mention at least 2-3 beggers outside the Lild everyday tapping people.

Hurt Hill Walk

Hi All.

Just curious, yesterday we tried to find this walk but when we got to the area on the map it essentially brought us to someone home and the walk itself looked overgrown and abandoned.

Is this walk no longer walkable?

Prince2 Vs PMP

Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone has sat both exams.

I'm an unofficial project manager and want to get a qualification to increase my prospects.

I've been struggling with the PMP practice exams questions and find the PMBOK unstructered and hard to follow. (I know its supposed to be a guide and book of reference rather than a manual)

Just wondering if anyone has found Prince2 easier to follow, study and pass?

Tralee Canal Walk

Hi All,

Just wondering where is the best place to park to do this walk?

I saw some posts saying the Aquadome or the Wetlands carpark however I saw some people commenting saying that you can get clamped if you park here.

Any suggestions would greatly be welcomed.

Returning to Education.

Hi All.

I am a male 40+ and want to upskill and get a new degree.

I see many people posting on LinkedIn and Facebook that they managed to get their degrees or masters while working full time but when I review all the courses online they all seem to be 4 years in length or don't offer part time or distance learning.

Just wondering if anyone can share their experience or insight into how they managed to accomplish their entry back into education while maintaining a wage?
