I feel stupid.
Just bought a used washer/dryer (including the U-Haul fees) & upon getting it home I realize my apartment has a regular 120v outlet & the stacked unit has a 3 prong 240v.
Am I forced to just sell it now & make better decisions in the future?
Not throwing shade on Chase, this could probably have happened anywhere.
Last Thursday I opened up a checking account for their $400 bonus. Yesterday at 3AM I get an email saying my account is restricted & may close soon due to potential fraud, if I want to confirm my identity I have to call customer support & give them my card number (which hadn’t arrived yet, it arrived this same day before I got home from work).
I do that & after about 45 mins I get confirmation that I successfully proved my identity & was given access to my account which now would not close…
Just now I attempted to open the app & get a “your account is hidden, to undo this” etc prompt so I call customer support again & after 10 mins of confirming my identity again; he tells me my account was closed anyway & if I want to re open an account I have to visit a branch, which is open & closed the same times I work.. I told him don’t worry about it & I just won’t bank with chase.
I’ve opened up many checking/savings accounts online & never had this happened to me; how many of yall have a story like this?

Since I was 13 I’ve always worked outside or in warehouses where it’s hot af & the few times I’ve worked inside with ac; the pay was shit.
My main experience is apartment maintenance; currently getting paid $23/hr which is fine but I want more money & I’m curious to know from you guys.. is there any jobs I have a high chance of being hired to work inside an office or just inside somewhere with air conditioning while still getting paid my current rate or even more with my experience/certs only?
Any other jobs can be recommended as well, only mentioning the air conditioning part as I’m kind of tired of working under the sun/sweating all damn day.

Thursday while driving was on e85 with 15 ish miles left before needing to fill up, car was driving perfectly.
Stopped at a red light to take a right & when I started to go; car did not wanna move past 2k RPM. It sounded almost like it was choking up & then immediately the miles till empty changed to ****. I thought ok cool I’ll just fill up the tank once I leave here (was pulling into my destination anyway so I only ran the car like that maybe 3 mins tops) parked the car & came back 2 hrs later.
Car turns on; still doing the same thing at 2k rpm & after 40 seconds it shuts off. It sounds like fuel starvation when I attempt to turn it back on so I have somebody bring me 2 gallons of 93 (there was no e85 nearby).
Still on e85 map (still some in the lines & wouldn’t turn on with 93map) car turns on & still doesn’t wanna go past 2k rpm but at least now it’s running. I drive to the nearest gas station & fill up 8 gallons of 93, car is running the whole time. I leave the gas station & once I’m out on the street it starts acting up bad; this car sounded & moved like a big cammed v8 with no high stall torque converter. Me pressing the gas pedal did nothing. After almost a minute of this; car shuts off completely. For the first time in my life, I was the Mf with the broken down car causing traffic.
Neither on 93 or E map would the car turn on.
At this point I had code P0171 (Bank 1 Lean)
Fuel pump turns on & off, have not checked pressure will check that tonight but in that moment; just visually the pump had immaculate pressure when I removed the hose.
Even if it is the fuel pump.. I’ve had a bad pump before & the car still turned on & ran, just not 100%.
Fuel pump & injectors fuses are good.
Little by little I was able to get the car to turn on for just 1-2 seconds; enough to put it in Drive & crawl up just enough for me to hop out & push the car back to the gas station. Where I removed fuel pump fuse & attempted to start the car with my foot on the gas (to clear any fuel stuck in the spark plugs) & then did the ecu reset procedure. Finally the car turned on & was able to drive 20 mins back home while under 2k rpm. I got home; shut it off & after 30 mins I turned it back on; I didn’t even make it out the street, had to neutral my ass back into the parking spot after the car died on me again & since then, the car has not turned over once.
Have fuel all the way up to the injectors which have since been cleaned & tested. No problems there.
Also no vacuum leaks from what I can see, maf sensors are fine.
The last time I touched the car was Monday when I recorded that video ^ after re installing injectors. Still fuel starvation. No more codes at this time.
Any advice or help is appreciated.

I’ll make this quick.
I work in South Dallas & currently live in Garland. 3 times a week I drive to Seagoville after work to pickup my brother (has no vehicle or other way to get there) & we ride to Mesquite to hit the boxing gym. After that, I drop him back off down in Seago & drive myself back to Garland.
I got a call today for an interview in West Dallas for the same position & my pay would be $3 more per hour. Similar company benefits/holidays. The current company I’m with I’m not sure is willing to give me a raise; they initially told me I work hard & deserved it but turned around & gave me a bad performance review filled with lies & assumptions added on top of one actual reasonable complaint on me. This week is my last week “checking in” with the property manager who has said, every Friday, that my performance is great. So maybe now I’m up for a raise? (Doubt it.)
With all that being said; the only thing keeping me from going to this interview tomorrow/the day after is the commute.

To the ones who know the area, you know how bad driving through downtown Dallas gets during traffic hours. That worry is added on top of the mileage.

Need advice on disease.
I met this dog last Monday at these apartments I work at, his owner kicked him out cause he no longer wanted him & for the whole week he just hung around said owner’s apartment. Everytime I would come around; he would play with me & follow me, good dog he was only a puppy.
This boy would let me pet him & grab him no problem.
Sunday (two days ago) I had to come to work & that’s when I found him laying in his usual spot with his head shaking side to side. I approached him as I always do & he got up, spooked. That’s when I started recording the video I have uploaded.
I immediately thought he either got poisoned or ate weed edibles, what worried me was that his gums were pale so I went to grab him to take him to the vet. He kept running in circles away from me while wobbling & tripping. When I would try to grab him he would whine loudly as if he was in pain. Finally with a t shirt over his head I managed to grab him & put him in a clothes bucket where he laid, still shaking his head side to side until the moment I left him at the vet.
I took him to the Dallas Animal Services in west Dallas; upon quickly checking him, the vet said she thought he had a highly contagious disease & the staff brought him a bigger bucket while they disinfected the area.
Today I called for an update, lady otp said he was in critical condition & was euthanized.
I just wanna know if someone here, with the context & video I posted; can tell me what disease he may have had. I took him to the vet to get cured & knowing that if they had to put him down, at least he’d be somewhere comfortable & not out in the heat but I can’t help & feel like I may have caused his death. Wondering if; had I left him here, would he have ended up fine on his own.
Any blue collar/outside working men in here? Need some advice as to what yall’ve found to fit in the hot weather with sweating damn near all day.
I’m in Texas so the highest temps we get right now average about 82 degrees Fahrenheit (some days 67, others 87) & as we roll over to peak summer we’ll start seeing high 90’s.
Currently the only bottle I own is Hero EDT & I quickly realized Its not the right fit for this, so that leaves me to where we’re at now; need a nice fresh scent that doesn’t project TOO much but has longevity at least 6-7 hours.

I’m aware none of those are “summer/high heat” scents but I’m just putting them as an example to give you guys a feeling of what kind of scents I like.
I’ve smelled two scents that I need to wear for a couple more days to see how I feel about them still, them being YSL Myself EDP & Prada Paradigme. I’ve seen people on Reddit mention using myself edp for date nights/going out so I’m preparing to realize it also won’t be used as a daily at work for me.
I tried ADG EDP Intense, loved it at first but now I dont, it’s a bit too sour.
I’ve tried Versace Eros edt & edp only at Macy’s but didn’t like how it smelled on paper so didn’t bother spraying it on my skin.
I smelled Le Beau edt on paper & didn’t like it but willing to give it another try on my skin; wether that’s a going out scent or at work for my type of job scent is the next question.
I appreciate any & all inputs.
I’ve snaked the overflow 4x, snaked the main drain behind the wall & even used draino. Water keeps slowly coming up on its own & I’ve ran out of ideas; what would be your next move?
Downstairs tub has been snaked as well, drains just fine.
