Why is there more lore for the raiders at Beantown Brewery compared to the entire existence of Talon Company?
There’s more lore for this random raider gang than this semi-important faction in Fo3.

I know it’s really bad I just wanted to try it (it didn’t work and I regret my decision)
I love this quest for multiple reasons, as it provides one of the few RP opportunities in Fo4. There’s plenty of choices and they all have a meaningful impact on the ending, as well as the opportunity to continue the questline.
How I normally go through it is I beltway both Paul and Henry before meeting with Nelson, because more caps/money for me and no witnesses. This way I also get to start The Marowski Heist which is a fun ending to the story.
Now I’m curious how many people even thought to do that? Nothing about the quest indicates it has an alternate ending really or multiple choices. So I guess I’m curious how did you guys resolve this conflict? Are you as coldhearted and cap-hungry as me, or did you take a slightly nobler path? Either way this is a pretty morally grey quest so I’m sure whatever result has its own justifications.
Edit: I made a similar post earlier but I kept messing small things up due to mobile formatting.
Because the Combat Rifle exists! Seriously whatever issues there are with the Assault Rifle are dwarfed by how boring this thing is, it’s also insanely ugly no matter how you customize it. It almost looks like a pipe-gun with how strangely it’s designed.
This is the one gun that I always get a replacer for in my play-through, better textures cannot save it.
I think it would be cool if there was a knife scaled to PA, kind of like this example from Space Marine 2. Ideally it would have a more rusty/used wasteland skin, and a more clean military skin.
Or a big update to the leg decal feature. It’s insane that the only way to make an accurate Sergeant is to play Assault, especially when all of the White Scar weapon skins are available to Tactical.
I’ve not played the older Fallout games (before 3) and was wondering if this was a constant part of their characterization.
It seems pretty inconsistent how important the BOS view mutants in general; as some are genocidal, while others don’t really care. To make this even more confusing it’s sometimes the same chapter of BOS with the inconsistencies.
My CW is absolutely freaking out when I take the first point of the Strong Back perk, instead of adding just 25 points it’s adding thousands.
Is this a mod conflict or a base-game one? I’m playing in survival on a slightly modified version of this Load Order: https: https://www.reddit.com/r/Fallout4ModsXB1/s/OrgEi5zThu
Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated
These have always been incredibly annoying but lately they are becoming unbearable. I don’t know if they got shadow-buffed in some way, or the AI Director changed again? Either way they are now homing missiles of death that are practically unavoidable.
The most bullshit example I can think of is when I was playing the Daily Hard Stratagem for Exfiltration (zero modifiers that affect Spore Mines btw) and got absolutely destroyed by them multiple times. Going for an execute? Get surrounded by a ring of them while you can’t do anything that explodes and takes you down the second the animation is over.
If I sound tilted it’s because I’m very tilted. Anyway rant over thanks for reading.
Hello! I’ve been looking to commission someone to make a custom figure, with a Space Marine base.
I thought people were exaggerating but no this guy is insane. Not only does he have all the combos, but his damage is very high, as well as his speed; his attacks all have annoying delays too.
All of that in a vacuum is annoying but beatable, by himself he’s a difficult boss that needs some coordination to beat. However since this game is a PvE horde shooter he becomes quickly overwhelming. Fighting multiple Chaos Spawn and Flying Tzaangor with this dudes insane attacks is just too difficult. Half the time I can’t even see his attacks because of all the particle effects in the screen at the same time.
The result of this is that multiple people go down every time he spawns, or the run ends. His spawn rate is very high as well, if you play any Chaos mission you are likely to run into him (if not multiple times). Your only hope is to abuse broken mechanics like the Kraken Penetrator Rounds bug, or be in an ideal situation to nuke him quickly. You win by not having to fight the boss, which is bad game design.
As many others have suggested he should be a static encounter like the Vortex Beast. Give him like a 30% health increase and he would be a good challenging encounter by himself.
Went ahead and grinded 50 kills in PvP and it was totally worth it. Hopefully they eventually make the hooded helmet colorable too.
Why does it only include 2 weapons if it can be equipped with 3?
