What do you actually do together during a long-distance relationship?
Title: What do you actually do together during a long-distance relationship?
I know video calls and watching movies together are common, but I’m curious about the less obvious things.
Do you play games together, cook while on video call, go on virtual dates, share playlists, or just stay on call while doing your own thing?
Looking for ideas that actually make the distance feel a little smaller.
Has your background ever affected your dating life?
I’m Filipina-Chinese, and I’ve always wondered how much being mixed actually affects dating.
Sometimes people are curious about your background, which I don’t mind. But there are also moments when someone has a very specific idea of what you must be like because of your ethnicity.
For those who are mixed, have you ever had an interesting or awkward dating experience because someone made assumptions about your background?
I’d love to hear other people’s experiences.
How do you deal with completely different schedules in an LDR?
For couples living in different time zones, how do you balance work, sleep, and still making time for each other?
Do you have a regular time for calls, or do you just call whenever both of you happen to be free?
I’d love to hear what actually works long-term rather than what sounds ideal.
Do Americans usually split the bill on a first date?
reddit.comFor those who’ve used OkCupid Premium.
Did seeing your likes actually lead to more matches?
Were most of the likes from people you were genuinely interested in?
Did Premium make a noticeable difference, or was it basically not worth it?
Is OkCupid Premium actually worth it just to see who liked you?
I’m curious if Premium is actually worth paying for just to see your likes.
I’ve been getting a surprisingly high number of likes, but only a small number of actual conversations/matches. My profile is also verified, but sometimes the whole thing feels a little strange some of the profiles seem questionable, and there own intro almost looks like it was written by a bot 😂
What’s dating culture like in the US compared with other countries?
I’ve always been curious about this because dating culture seems so different depending on the country.
For couples who have been doing long distance for a while, what is one thing that genuinely helped your relationship survive?
I’m interested in practical things rather than the usual “just communicate” advice.
What’s one Reddit feature you wish you knew about when you first joined?
I’m still learning my way around Reddit and there are so many little features and rules that I didn’t know existed.
For those who have been using Reddit for a while, what’s one thing you wish someone had told you when you were new?
Recommendations.
Started installing dating apps again after a long break 😅 FB Dating is back on my phone, and I’m also checking out OKC and PinaLove. What other dating apps are actually worth trying?
I’m curious what everyone’s experiences have been lately good or bad. 😂
What app would you recommend, and why?
Network woes
Hi. I just joined OKC for two weeks now and I encountered this. I'm from Philippines, using wifi and data as well. Is this lag or app crash? Anyone experienced this?
