about-face foundation, is it good?

i’m in australia, and thinking about getting a friend to purchase it for me as i’ve seen good reviews on it on tiktok. is it really that good, or more mediocre? would love to know what everyone’s opinion is on it.

sunscreen for rosacea type 1?

i recently got diagnosed with rosacea type 1, and got recommended to use a mineral sunscreen. i normally use chemical ones since i have very dry skin and i need something hydrating that works well under heavy makeup. does anyone know any mineral sunscreens for that? or maybe chemical sunscreens safe for rosacea?

i’ve been using cancer council face day wear serum spf50+, and i think it’s okay if i don’t use it on my really sensitive days. but i’m always open for more options to try :) any price point is fine at this point.

skin1004 glass skin milk?

i was thinking of getting it to replace my toner and serums when i’m done with them, so that i didn’t have to use so many products at once. i wanted to know if anyone has tried it yet, and what their thoughts are on it! just wondering in general :)

i have: very dry, slightly sensitive skin.

non-matte concealer for pale skin?

i’m on the lookout for a concealer that will actually match my skin/brighten without being matte, as i have super dry skin and matte makeup products don’t work on me. it also has to be cruelty free!!

i’ve tried tower 28, but it sadly didn’t seem to mix with my skin, no matter what prep i did. i don’t care about the price point, just want something that works. it can be a little yellow, as i think that would be good for colour correcting my vascular under eye circles.

i have - dry, sensitive skin and i’m cool toned, my current shade is loreal true match foundation 0.5N (i don’t own it, just swatched in store) (everything ends up orange on me if that helps)

would love to know what worked for you!

others i’ve tried that didn’t work:
essence silky blur (it’s a matte finish so it didn’t mix)
rimmel kind and free hydrating concealer
sheglam hydrating concealer
the saem concealer

promoting my etsy shop!

Hi, i’m Alex and i do press on nail making. I decided that even though i don’t have the best abilities, i wanted to start making and selling some press on nails!

I’m an 18 year old woman with high functioning autism, which has over time limited my ability to draw, write etc. I know it’s a little silly for me to take up this due to that, but i found i enjoy this hobby and that it strengthens my skills!

So far i have had two sales, which mightn’t seem like a lot but it is for me. My artwork isn’t the best, but i do try my hardest to put my all into it!

PS i have written in my sales that i only ship around AU and US, but that’s only cause i can’t figure out how to calculate shipping for every country. if you’re elsewhere, just dm me and ill figure it out for you :)

mcobeauty and trump - disc.

okay, so after some research i’ve found it is true the shelley isn’t with mcobeauty anymore, and mcobeauty themselves aren’t in support of d trump now. but on insta, mco still follow shelley, so im wondering if they’re still partnered with her in some way or do support trump on their own now. anyone know anything else that might help? or is this conversation not even worth it?

is mcobeauty still in support of D trump?

i’ve heard lots of things about this lately, but also that the original owner that was supporting him is now gone? if anyone knows anything about this and can clear it up that would be great, as i’d love to be able to buy from them but not if they’re still supporting him.

hard candy glass on lock alternative?

I’ve heard such amazing things about the glass on lock setting spray, but obviously it’s not available in aus. i was wondering if anyone knew a potential dupe for it that’s available here? or at least something similar 😅

looking for a dupe to the mac lipstick in modesty! i’d totally splurge for it but since mac isn’t cruelty free i won’t. hoping that someone knows another lipstick that matches the colour!

setting powders for dry skin?

i have very dry skin and love to wear a glowy makeup look, but find my powder always ruins that. it makes me look and feel dry, tight and flaky, even after using hydrating setting sprays and a good skin prep.

i normally use either essence translucent (white) pressed powder, or maybelline pressed powder in the lightest shade.
i wear glasses so i set heavily around my nose to prevent slipping, even though that doesn’t work. but id like to find a setting powder that sets without feeling or looking heavy and cakey, but i do wear a full beat most of the time so i know it sounds impossible.

id more so prefer it to be pressed and hydrating, rather than too blurring as most powders are formulated for oily skin. it also would need to be cruelty free, i bought maybelline before knowing they weren’t. it’s okay if it’s more heavy duty, as like i mentioned i do wear a full beat and a more natural setting powder wouldn’t work for that. i just want one that isn’t super drying and mattifying.

glowy/dewy setting sprays?

i’m looking for a setting spray in australia that gives that dewy glass skin look while also setting my makeup in place. ive tried revolution hydra cool fix and milani make it last dewy and neither really give that dewy look for me, and i tend to still look super dry 😖

i tend to always end up with a matte looking base, even though i use hydrating dewy makeup products and hardly use powder.

id prefer an affordable option, but its okay if thats not possible! has to be cruelty free though.

i have very dry, sensitive skin. i also wear glasses, so i find i need to powder around where they would sit so my makeup wont come off, but that never really works.

colourpop stone cold fox eyeshadow palette

requesting swatches! preferably on cool toned pale skin.

i’m looking for a palette that has pure neutral brown shades, as everything always turns orange on me 🥲 and colourpop is not available irl in my country. thanks!

don’t worry about the shimmer shades, i really only care about the brown & grey matte shades.

dupes for rhode highlight milk/CT Flawless filter?

i’m not sure of the name of the category these types of products fall under, but basically i’m wanting to know if there are any more affordable options for an all over the face liquid highlighter.

i have super dry skin and i absolutely love a glowy, dewy look for my makeup. i recently found out about the new rhode highlight milk and thought it would be so perfect, but the price for it is not 🫠 i know it’s like ct’s flawless filter in a way, which also looks amazing, but i prefer not to purchase from non cruelty free brands.

please let me know if you know any of those types of highlighters that are cruelty free and don’t make me look like the tin man!

PS: elf halo glow is not an option for me 🫶🏼
