rnz.co.nzWhat if the next xbox doesn't support Steam?
Been a lot of talk, rumors and speculation about the next xbox, whilst its been confirmed that it will play pc games, it has not been confirmed if it will have steam. With Valve not only being the biggest player in the market and a direct competitor to Microsoft, they also have their own hardware coming out that will be also competing against both xbox and windows, so the idea that Microsoft won't support steam on xbox isnt super far fetched.
My question is mainly for the users who are excited for the next xbox or like the idea of multiple storefronts on it.
What if it doesn't support steam? Will you still buy it if it only plays pc games from Microsofts store? Seems to me the only reason to be excited by the prospect of pc games on xbox, is because of steam.
